Chapter 26 (General Trouble)

"Did you just killed him?" Akari shockingly said.

Yamato was silent for some time and then looked at the dead body. His Stony fake turned into a confused and feared one, and he started to scream.

"HE IS DEAD!? HOW?"

"THERE IS B-BLOOD EVERYWHERE WHO KILLED HIM!?"

"HIS NECK... It's DISSEMBLED FROM THE BODY! WHAT'S HAPPENING!?"

Akari's mind had also been filled with confusion after watching Yamato's odd reaction.

"You killed him Yamato. Don't you remember?"

"I did what!? I don't have the guts to kill a human looking person."

"But you can kill demons or beasts like they are nothing?"

"Welll they are like some creatures that came out of the game. Anyway who killed this guy?"

"You killed him and rather ruthlessly. He was literally begging for his life, but it took you one second to slice his head off."

"I would never do that! I am one merciful guy, and you know it well."

"You kids, you are speaking like I don't even exist."

"You.....did you take control over his consciousness?"

"Yes I did."

"Why did you take control over me ma'am sage?"

"Isn't it obvious?"

"No it isn't" the both replied

"Ahh, well his presence itself annoyed me. He was all just a talk and used his pawns for all the attacks. He disgusted me."

"But that doesn't mean that you would just give him a neck blow. I mean torturing is also an option."

"You both ladies are scaring me."

Suddenly a weird rock sound came from behind.

The one golem which the knight was protecting was still on his feet but barely because of all the attacks.

"I nearly forgot about that guy." Yamato says with a sigh.

He pulls out his swords and took his position.

As he was about to rush, the golem fell down and turned into a pile of rock.

"Well that's a surprise. It was a pile of rocks to begin with anyway." Akari says

"I am regretting running out of my class now." he sighed.

As Yamato was passing through, a strange light emitted beneath the rocks. It got brighter and brighter as Yamato came near it.

"What's that?"

"That's a template, usually used within royalty to keep their conversation private. It's like a messaging device."

"Oh, so that must be for me, I suppose. Anyways how to use it?"

"Place your hand on its top and just say 'Open'"

"That's all?"

"Yup, that's all."

He then slowly walks towards the light and touches it. The moment he touched it, the area which was nearly rotten during the fight started to recover in a couple of seconds.

"Didn't know it could do that too." Akari says.

After the restoration was completed, he gave the command.

"Open"

The template started to give off pieces of fragments as it started the recording in it.

"If you know how to use this device then I'll take it that you are the vessel of Akari and if not then I guess you were defeated in the fight against my golems or maybe someone from my world. So right to the point, I am the general, no, I am the former general in command of the demon army, Lukacia Celestine. You may call me whatever you like. I believe that you may already know about my presence in this world as I have been sending signals to you previously though I never got any reply which I suppose is due to the cautiousness of Ms. Akari. So I the former general have a request which you have to answer within two days as I have been stuck in this area for weeks and my life is soon to be ended. So I ask you to assist in my escape from this dungeon which was made by the king. There are presently 3 dungeons created in this world, and I am captured in deepest of all. I know you can trace my presence to get here. I can assure that I am of no harm. My power is at its bottom, and I am all about defense right now. I look forward to you visit."

As the voice ended, the template disappeared.

"So we just received a hostile invitation from the general herself." Akari said with a smirk.

"If you wouldn't have stopped me from going earlier, we wouldn't have to go through this fight either. You are a little to cautious."

"We had to beat a knight someday, so it's balanced."

"Yeah sure"

Yamato got up and looked at his surroundings and mysteriously found a huge crowd around him.

"When did all these people gathered up!?"

"Why are you getting so worked up?"

"I am not so good with crowds, that's all."

"All I see is an opportunity."

"Opportunity to what?"

"To announce the current state of this city. You just heard, there are dungeons created here which are basically the nest of all minions and dangerous monsters."

"You want me to announce that here? Do you know how fast the news will travel if I do that? I am literally on trending now. The announcement may even cause a civil war or whatever."

"You are extravaging and if something like that even happens, then I guarantee you full support of actions. Don't overthink and tell them about the upcoming danger."

"Ok than."

Yamato looks at the crowd, and before he started speaking, one of the people in the crown said.

"What you did now, was it a murder?"

"I.... I did n----"

'If I say that I didn't do it then they will lose trust in my words as they have seen me do it, not the sage'

"Yes, what I did was a murder and at this point I am a killer."

The crowd gasped with fear, anger and outrage.

"But.....what I did was to keep the destruction to minimum, and I did it as a clear self-defense. And also, that guy isn't from this planet, so no law makes me a murderer."

The crowd was silent, but the confusion of the people was visible.

"You can't be safe if you judge my actions, I am trying to save you all and also from the upcoming danger."

"Upcoming danger? What do you mean by that?"

"Ok so, how many of you know what a dungeon is?"

Some of them came forward.

"So would you believe me if I say that there are some in this city?"

"It's upon the circumstances."

"Well for your knowledge. There are 3 dungeons created by the people of the world from where this knight came from."

"And what about you? Did you come from that planet too?"

"Well I am and am not from that place. Like my outside is from here but inside is sorta not. I can't explain it, but I can confidently say that I will help and protect you all from this calamity of you assist me. Don't be suspicious about my actions and believe me. I won't allow anyone to raid this world until I am here."

The people in the crowd started to discuss the matter with each other and ended up with a conclusion.

"Some of us from the officials means that we can contact the government directly. We will help you and earn everyone but in return, you will not betray us as doing so will make the whole world go against you." one of them said...

"Don't worry. I am the man of my word and will thereby assist you with all I have."

"You actually left all the announcement on me, huh? You have some guts Yamato." the sage annoyingly said.
