Chapter 6: Hilburt Flameheart

I was brought away from the corridor, and was eventually led to a massive mansion.

The walk there was long as well, about 20 minutes, but the person in front of me did not speak at all.

I chose to do the same.

There was no need to willingly talk to someone for no reason.

After he led me inside the mansion, and brought me to something which looked like a gym, he left.

He didn't even say anything, he pointed to a corner of the room, and left.

I didn't know what to do, so I decided to just calm down and wait for the guy.

I then realised that there was a book on my right hip, so I took it out.

It was the Minecraft book that appeared in front of me during my awakening ceremony.

I looked through the book to see if anything changed, and I was lucky I did.

There was a new section written 'farms.'

When I pressed on it, there was a shit ton of different types of farms, at least a hundred of them.

Other than the basic, no brainer farms which anyone who played Minecraft for a week would know, all of them were there.

They all were obviously there for costs.

And at the end of all the various farms, a specific line was there.

[All costs for the higher level farms will increase, when the player reaches a Mid-Game]

'... It seems like there are more benefits for me to just not promote to Mid-Game at this point.'

As I was flipping through the book for more changes, the person who brought me to this room came back and said.

He looked at me, and said," Magnus Reghile, first-born and heir to the Viscount level nobility of the Clover kingdom. Known as a famous playboy of the kingdom, and never had to work hard in his life before."

It seemed like he was telling me my background. Well this is convenient. I didn't even know this myself.

"I don't care how you behaved before, but as my mentee, you better damn well be the best of your batch." He said, as he burnt the file in his hand.

By burnt, I mean literally, his hands caught on fire, and the entire stack of papers started to burn.

While I was surprised by it, I soon calmed down.

"Now, let me introduce myself. My name is Hilburt Flameheart, I am the Crown Prince of the Agalon Kingdom. I am also a 5th year in the academy. While I am not unique like you, I have innate adaptability with mana, and have won in a battle against a unique me. I am going to be your mentor." He said.

It seems like an extremely massive thing to defeat a unique as a non-unique. I am going to have to research more about what are the major differences between a unique and non unique.

"I need you to think about something which will impact your future development now." He said in a completely serious tone.

"As you must know, all noble families have their own Mana Techniques. While any and all mana techniques are rare, there are obviously some with better benefits than others."

"I myself practice the secret arts of the Imperial family of the Agalon Kingdom, and while I cannot give you the secret arts of the imperial family, I can give you the 2nd strongest arts of my kingdom."

"The academy will also provide a mana technique which will allow you to stack it on another technique in about 1 month. However, the method the academy has is the only one in existence. You innately cannot stack mana methods on top of each other."

"The information I have gathered on your family's mana technique is that there is no specific element in focus, and it focuses on mana in a hole. This would make you a jack of all trades, but a master of none." He explained.

So he was essentially saying that he would give me a better mana technique than the one I will potentially receive... but what he didn't say was the entire jist of the problem.

A jack of all trades and a master of none, but it is still better than a master of one. If I do decide to take his mana method, I am assuming that it is tailored to a specific element.

If I do use my own, maybe in the future it will allow me to use many different elements, but the elemental damage will be less effective than a circulation method that specifically focuses on something.

"Do I have time to think about this problem?"

"You have at most 3 months. The school will give you their method in a month, but the earlier you learn another method, the more effective it will be in the future. Mana takes a really long time to accumulate. If you haven't decided by then, I cannot teach you my family method."

'... I need to research a lot, there is so much I do not know about this world.'

...

(A/N: Btw, I couldn't really find a spot to add that the MC finds out how long he was unconscious, so just assume that he found out somehow.

1 day/night in minecraft = 1 hr in the outside world

Since 1 day/night in minecraft is 20 minutes, 20 min = 1 hr
