Chapter Six : A Night On Fire

Jaelin was unconscious all the day long. Master Jin was feeding her so she'd not weaken or remain in that state for longer days. It was forbidden on every light knight to enter the Lunar Eris to help her. Unlike them, Sinian was able to watch over her from far for few days.

On the fifth day, in the evening, he took the opportunity to sneak in rapidly after she was left alone. He approached her sitting on the bed and touching her forehead, going down to her cheeks. Took his hand off wondering if what he was doing would be the right thing to do. His heart was skipping beats slowly when he was staring at her sleeping. Her beautiful face with its little details, the curves of her mouth and her reddish lips. The closed eyes while sleeping like a baby. The beauty of hers wasn't common among the night clan neither the light. He felt like there was something special about her, but couldn't know what was it.

Meanwhile, Ixin was in his chambers with his concubines around. One of them was on his lap kissing him continuously and unbuttoning his top while the other one was kissing his neck, clinging to him from the back. His broad shoulders were enough to carry two girls at once. As Sinian's mind was shutting off slowly, Ixin could still hear him and read his thoughts.

"I'm gonna save you," The younger brother whispered when he bended down to her ear.

"Don't do that!" Ixin threw the girl off his lap and stood up widening his eyes. He ordered him telepathically putting on his top.

"I'm sorry brother," Sinian shut off his mind connection and started to kiss her forehead, going down slowly to her nose then to her lips.

Not wanting to restrain more, he took off his top, unbuttoning his black shirt and turned off the lights beside one small flame left on the nightstand. He was convincing himself that it would help her, it would make her feel better and would keep it a secret for himself only. It was the 'Relixue' ability that only worked when two different bodies, one of the light and the other from the night. It needed also the superpower of one of them to cool down or unite by sharing the same qi, to adjust the body temperature of one of them.

He went down slowly to give small kisses under her ear and with each inch going down he was unbuttoning the upper part of her robes, step by step, hoping to heat her body slowly before the process. Not daring to go lower than that, he hardened his kisses to go deep and passionate. His eyes turned to lighter purple as his body veins widened than natural. With each breath he took from her neck, he felt like time was stopping. The demon activated his superpower to transmit it through the relixue process, and started the transmit while kissing her lips deeply.

"I said don't approach her!" Ixin broke in, pulling his brother from his neck and chocking him on the wall.

"I'm trying to save her. She's been unconscious for days, brother," Sinian explained in a lower voice not resisting out of respect.

"Why do you care? It's me dealing with her," Coldly spoke the older brother. "Didn't I tell you that you should never be around girls of the light clan?" Continued to tighten his choke looking at his eyes in a cold look mixed with fury.

"I can't resist being with her from the first day we've met. I've never been into any girl before, not even like you, brother," Sinian quietly explained. "Please, I want to be with her. I know we are not that close, but it feels like I've known her from a very long time."

"I'm gonna let it pass this time. I wish she isn't the one I will kill someday," He let him go then glanced at her in wonder. At the same time Jaelin was about to wake up and Sinian felt that. He hurried to grab his top and disappeared into thin air leaving his older brother staring at her drowning in his thoughts.

"You!" Got up the girl sitting on her bed after seeing Ixin staring at her with unbuttoned robes.

"Huh!" He glared at her for the way she used to talk to him.

"Why are my robes unbuttoned? Does the night king have such a reputation!" Boldly asked looking at him madly.

"Up to you to figure it out," Claimed the demon leader coldly smirking and looking at her blushing with an angry expression. It was his first time seeing a young lady doing that.

"Did you have to punish me that way? Were I that much of a sinner?" She questioned wrapping her arms against her body with the blanket after being silent for a moment.

"You pushed me to do that," Seriously confessed as he sat on the sofa facing her.

"I'm not close to your brother, even though it feels as if I know him from a long time. However, I was sincere when I told you I have nothing to do with him. You didn't have to go that far," Gently spoke the red head girl feeling uneasy at his presence, especially in that state.

"Who are you to tell me what I should decide on?" The night leader reminded in a serious way while she had nothing to say. "Did anyone see your hexin including my brother?" He asked fixing his eyes on her. He had a playful aura and an arrogant look.

"No. The masters only have seen it. Why?" She raised her head to look at him and as each time, she couldn't keep an eye contact with the devil for a long time.

"Don't let anyone sees it, neither talk about it to anyone, even if it's Sinian," He warned in a cold way not taking off his eyes from her. He had read something like it before long ago, and wanted to confirm again, her hexin wasn't that ordinary which was why it made him decide on watching her closely.

"Nobody talks about his own hexin. It's the main core of every nobility. Unlike me it's already taken by you, your highness," With her glow eyes she stared at him for a while and spoke fearlessly not regretting being in that situation. She got up to pour some water and asked straightforwardly. "Did you do anything to me to wake up in such a state, your highness?"

He silently walked toward her and bended down to her ear while she was standing facing the window, drinking water. "I told you, figure it out yourself, knight Jaelin," Whispered in a cold arrogant way that made her shiver but pulled herself together to turn her head to face him. Their looks crossed each other for a while.

"So, that's how you deal with your actions, demon Ixin? Escaping responsibilities and blame it on others," Jaelin responded looking at him then turned her head taking a sip. "I can see what kind of people you are now," Continued in confidence. Fearlessly speaking that way to him was such a bold action to do, especially to him.

He smirked and left, disappearing like last time. Sighed the fire girl thinking she'd be in trouble for that way of hers in replying. She had nothing to lose and her hate for him was growing day by day. He punished her severely for a small mistake then waking up to find him in her bedroom with lights down and her top messed up. Clenching her fingers to the glass she was holding and thinking how she would manage without her superpowers.

Sinian kept watching her from far, feeling relieved to see her awake. He was attracted by her released long hair on her white transparent robes and her glow eyes mixed with the moonlight. He knew nothing about what was happening to him but decided on keeping her company and protect her since she had nothing to defend herself with.

The morning came and master Jin knocked, bringing breakfast finding the girl in her uniform, was ready to get out of her room.

"What are you doing? Get back to bed Jaelin," Ordered calmly while serving food.

"Good morning, master. I feel much better. I need some fresh air in the morning," Smiled the girl doing her hair but widened her eyes to see few hickeys on her neck.

"I left you unconscious last night. When did you wake up?" Questioned the man standing at the mini table put in front of the sofa.

"I woke up at night. I feel like I slept for long," Turned to see the several dishes he prepared for her leaving her hair released.

"You're staying more here. Make sure to gain your strength." Smiled the teacher. "Don't blame yourself for what you're in. Everything that you face in life is meant to be for you to handle," Continued and left her sitting in confusion.

She felt lost after what she had been through. Nobody would be by her side from her clan, not even her friend. No superpowers to practice or develop. Nothing else to do beside feeling empty and confused about how she would spend those months doing nothing. Running in her thoughts, events happened so fast that she could barely believe she went through that. Rewinding what had happened the previous night while touching her neck and sighing looking at the food put in there and not having appetite to eat.

He's got his hands on her and she's been fooled by the mean demon!

How is she going to look at Sinian if she knows the truth!

She's a provoking diva tho!!
