Chapter 46: Black, White, Black & White
Her soft hum pulled him, inviting him into a deep slumber. It coaxed him, gently, pulling him in.
The pain he felt began to feel numb instead, his eyes almost rolling back in relief.
Why did he feel so calm all of a sudden? It didn't matter...he felt safe.
He...felt safe?
The thought starteld him enough to pull him out from his night reverie. He awoke with a start, instinctively scouting the room for danger.
What met his eyes instead was the morning rays of sunshine, peeking through the window and bringing light to the room.
Beneath him, something stirred slightly and he glanced towards it sharply. His eyes widened in shock when he saw the objects were the thighs of the Icarthan princess.
She was deep in slumber, leaning against the wooden edge of the bed as she slept in an upright manner.
Had he fallen asleep on her thighs?
