Her words displeased the Queen mother as the older woman's expression had began to morph into a frown.
"It is just to see how good the Queen is," Amazerath quickly added, afraid to displease the Queen mother.
"Celestiel has been riding with me since noon. How can you not be considerate of the possibility that she may be fatigued?," the Queen mother chastised.
It was obvious to Celestiel that she was biased towards her and she wondered if it was because the Queen mother merely liked her as she was her daughter in law or if it was because lady Amazerath was rather overbearing.
"Forgive me, your grace but surely, it couldn't be possible that the Queen is tired," Amazerath replied, glancing at Celestiel. "She is our queen after all, she must be strong! How else would she be able to defend the pirates?"
