-What's with the entire ruckus?

Mathew growled as he came downstairs and stood in front of them.

-Oy, kid. Stop crying at once otherwise I'll make sure to repeat what happened with you earlier before coming here.

He got scared and started to cry even harder than before.

-So you've got a death wish.

Mathew held the boy tightly and started drag him. The boy was trying to release himself from his grip. Luna acted immediately at once to free the kid from him taking.

-What are you doing? You're hurting the kid.

-So? He's supposed to get hurt because I'm strong and he provoked me by denying my order.

-He's just a little kid. He got scared. He cried because he was afraid of you.

-So what? His crying disturbed my alone time. I'll make him pay for that.

-Please just this once. Forgive him. Please.

Mathew was fuming in anger but somehow he calmed himself down.

-I'll let it go for this once. But if there's a next time, I definitely won't let him go without getting the consequences for disturbing me.

-I'll make sure of it that it never happens again ever. And also thank you for forgiving him.

He left. Luna sighed in relief. She turned to the kid who was still shaking and crying in fear.

-Hey, baby. What's your name?

He said in sobs.

-Luka Kenji. Miss what's your name?

-My name? I'm Luna Martin.

-Miss where's my mommy? Where's my daddy?

She felt sad hearing those words from his mouth. She suddenly missed her mom.

-I don't know how to say it but they're dead. They won't ever come back to you.

Hearing the harsh but the truth, he cried shouting his parents' names.

-Shh . . . . he'll hear it. Keep it down.

-Mommy. Daddy.

-Listen, Luka, stop crying like a loser and be strong.

He didn't listen.

-Luka you can call me mama if you want. I know you miss your mom so do I.

He looked at her.

-If you miss your mom so much, you can call me mama to fill up the space. Don't worry; I'll never hurt you like the others. I'll love you like a mother.

She was saying what was coming in her mind to calm him down desperately. But she stopped when he said something out of the blue.

-Mama.

She got shocked to hear that word from his mouth.

-What did you say?
