Igneel

Since in a thousand years, Merlin knew she would most likely be long dead, she didn't support Sora's actions but couldn't say anything about it. this was a conflicting situation for her to choose sides, but then again she didn't need to pick sides, this was a matter for the future human.

So, Sora and Merlin did begin dating. most of Sora's time was spent within his forest, which Merlin came to love as the place was genuinely peaceful and showed nature's beauty to its peak, but at times they would leave.

"there you are." Sora who was walking through a city suddenly heard a cry sounding behind him, looking back he saw Ellen walking up to her. She had silver armor and looked a lot like a knight.

"what do you want?" Sora asked calmly, ever since he saved her, he had not seen Ellen again. but that didn't mean that Ellen have not been trying to find him. Ellen took a deep breath for a moment before she pulled out a sword and pointed at Sora, drawing the attention of many people.

"In 1,000 years, I will stop you and the demon lord. the fact you saved me isn't enough for me to overlook you sided with the enemy of this whole universe." She said calmly, to which Sora shrugged as if he didn't care

"but thats 1,000 years from now... as you are now, you are still on our side. so let's be brother and sister." She said weakly, stunning Sora for a moment. he looked at her with a weird look, to which Ellen lowered her head.

"Then let go. I was going out to see if I could buy a few things to help in my experiments." Sora said calmly, stunning Ellen who jumped in joy before running up to Sora and quickly began dropping a food of action about all types of things.

"Using is the first race it combines magic with items, this started off thousands of years ago before humans gained the power to use their magical powers. this form of magic is called holder magic. this allowed humans to stand up to the other races while having no magic power of their own." Sora said calmly, to which Ellen nodded as she knew all of this

"yet the research and progress within this field of magic slowed down due to mages being born with the ability to hold magic within. so, I plan to do my research into this. what if we can make a carriage that absorbs power to drive, with no need for horses and stuff? the cost for such an item would drop, plus it could use lacrima as a power, allowing even normal humans to use." Sora said calmly, making Ellen's eyes widen as Sora's words hit her.

"C-can I help? With my enchantment magic, I can do pretty much anything." She said softly, to which Sora shrugged as he nodded. So, they stopped at the store where Sora caught a few things before leaving and returning to the forest, where Ellen was shocked by the beauty of the place.

Sora went into the water, which opened up, revealing a door that went underground. they entered, going into another dimension, where Merlin was doing research with gunpowder, there Ellen watched as Gunpower worked, shooting a bullet forward at blinding speed without the need for magical power.

"This gun thing... it's powerful." Merlin said softly while looking at the prototype of the gun, for now just a normal gun, but what if magical energy was used to enhance such a weapon, what if unique forms of magic were used to power such a weapon?

"Merlin, so you knew where he was at all this time," Ellen said with a pout, to which Merlin smiled slightly. She didn't tell Ellen where Sora was as she didn't know if Sora wanted her to or now. but now it seemed like her words had a huge impact on Sora, forcing him to face himself.

"Great lady Ellen." Lisa walked over with a glass of drinks, she was given a new body to take over, giving her a new life, although she was not truly living. but even so, she remained next to Sora, as she found herself unable to leave him, maybe Sora's charisma affected her

Ellen greeted Ellen back, before they all got to work on Sora's experiments, all but Lisa who was not into this type of stuff. Ellen didn't seem like it sometimes, Sora, Ellen, and Merlin were all that would call researchers. so they were hooked on this thing Sora brought out, and wanted to learn all there was to it,

Lisa would stay around them from time to time, acting as Sora's assistant, but most of the time she would be out to help manage the underground organizations Sora built. which she pretty much took over as Sora no longer bothered with it.

One day when she was out and walking around, she froze as she came across a large egg in the middle of the forest. she instantly realized that it was a dragon egg, so she brought it back with her where she showed it to Sora and the others.

Sora had no interest in it and only remarked that it was the Fire Dragon King's egg, which was one of the few dragon kings who died in the war. Ellen hearing this wanted to take the egg in, and Merlin thought it would be for the best that the dragon doesn't grow up to hate humans.

So, the dragon was raised by them. and months later, he began to catch, and there an adorable little dragon was born.

"Can I name it?" Merlin asked with a smile while looking at Ellen who was caught by the dragon's beauty, Ellen didn't mind leaving Merlin's smile to grow.

"Alright... how about Dragn..." Merlin's eyes dance around feeling Sora blank stair on her, and Ellen raised an eyebrow. Merlin panicked slightly before her eyes were bright after she looked at Sora for a split second.

"I mean, Igneal." She said with a nod, making Ellen's eyebrow raise. She named Sora Dragneel, and now the dragon Igneel...

well, Igneal joined the family. to help Igneal not feel alone, Sora captured another baby dragon that was living alone, but this caused Igneel to start wanting more friends, so behind everyone's back, he traveled seeking those like him to form a dragon family of his own.

this all happened because everyone was too busy to play with Igneel, causing him to feel alone at times. anyways, years passed. Igneel and his group of friends quickly spread their names, causing many dragons to grow displeased with these two.

the dragons were displeased with the humans, how could one of their kind betray them all? and now one of their own was helping these humans? so how could they not grow displeased?

So, Igneel and the others became a target for many dragons, putting them in many life-and-death battles, which they were always lucky to survive. of course, Sora was helping them in secret. But one day, these dragons truly began testing their fate.

In a village, a woman in armor stood against a huge poisonous dragon, the poison affected her, causing the parts affected to turn red. yet behind her, stood a group of little kids she was protecting,

"Even if it kills me, I will not let you eat these children." She said through deep breaths, to which the poison dragon laughed, but its attention suddenly shot up, where it saw a ground of baby dragons appearing in the sky.

"You those brats." The poison dragon said coldly, ignoring the woman's blow. Igneel snorted while landing in front of the woman, shielding her and leaving Igneel stunned by such actions.

"Take those children and leave, we shall take care of this dragon." a wind dragon named Grandeeney said, healing the woman of her injuries and the poison. the woman looked at her and Ingeel, they were only baby dragons, what could they do before such an audit dragon?

"This dragon is to power, allow me to support you." She said seriously, but a cocky laugh sounded as the metal dragon Metalicana landed next to Igneel, annoying Igneel. the two glared at each other for a moment, but the booming laugh as the poison dragon snapped them back to reality

"you have been fighting those weaker dragons, and all of a sudden you think you have the strength to face off against me?" The poison dragon laughed before it unleashed a huge among of gas from its mouth, Grandeeney quickly unleashed a strong amount of wind to blow away the wind, but this poisonous gas was too much, overwhelming her magic power.

Her pupils shrink in horror as she realized that the dragon below them was truly levels above the other dragons they faced. the poison gas rushed towards them, and their faces turned place before such a sight.

But at the last moment, the earth suddenly shot into the sky. To everyone, the woman had placed before them and had created a huge wall to block the poison. through gritted teeth, she looked at them as she chanced everything she had into creating this magic

"the magic I use is a lost magic called the arc Of Earth. I'm about to resist this poison so long as my feet stay in touch with the earth below me. take those children and run, please, I will hold this dragon off for as long as I could." She yelled at them, shocking Igneel and the others

"We can't let you die like this," Igneel said through gritted teeth while looking at the wall which was breaking down under the effect of the poison, only to rebuild itself, and crumble. hearing Igneel words, she gritted her teeth, her flesh was crimping, transforming into send,

this magic was powerful, but by using it, she would be transformed into the earth. one of the children there was her child, she would not be able to live on knowing that her child died and she could have done something to save him but didn't

in the sky, two pair of twin dragons move, the light and darkness brothers shot high into the sky, before combing their magical power to unleash a light and darkness attack at the poisoned dragon. but under the effect of the poison, their attack was weakened. By the time it hit the dragon, it was weakened to a great degree

the other dragon moved, they were unwilling to let things end like this, being cocky dragons, they were not scared of death. something which made the woman helpless, all of them were poisoned, and were quickly in a stated near death, leaving only her in a state where she was helpless...

Grandeeney's feather-like scales were now affected by position, with hints of fear she looked at the poisonous dragon which was slowly walking towards them

"I'm sorry, my foolish siblings don't know what's good for them... and I foolishly followed. tale the children and run." She said with a bitter smile as she unleashed the remeans of her magic, enchanting the black hair woman, whose body was falling apart. the woman's body reformed, the effect of her magic disappearing... no, they were temporarily suppressed, she had a few minutes at most.

She stepped forward and shot at the children, taking hold of them and running away at top speed. The poison dragon snorted seeing its meal was running away, it opened its mouth, but it didn't attack, instead, it stood frozen in place. everyone was confused for a moment, before the dragon began to fall over, dead.

everyone was stunned, even the woman who was running away was forced to freeze, too stunned to run away. She looked back and saw that the dragon's eyes running backward, with a handsome young man with long red hair sitting on the dragon's head and calmly looking at the dragons, which were shaking in fear and lowered their heads, seemly children who were standing before their father after being caught making a mistake.

"return home," Sora said calmly, and with a simple thought, but this didn't stun them as they knew the might Sora held. they quickly turned and fled, not wanting to get a beating. unlike their mothers, Sora did not hesitate to team them a lesson with his fist, and since they were dragons they were more than capable of taking a beating.

Sora calmly looked over and saw the woman, she was stunned for a moment seeing Sora before walking over. She knew Sora, they went to the same academy after all.

"thank you for saving me." She said with a bow, to which Sora just nodded while tapping towards her, completely removing the effect of her magic, leaving her moved and stunned, and leading her to thank Sora once more

"No need to thank me, you protected those brats," Sora said before turning to leave, leaving her hesitating a moment before speaking.

"allow me to thank you with a meal at least, you saved my son, and these other children. A simple thank you isn't enough, and maybe there isn't much I can do, but allow me to at least try." She said softly with a slight bow, making Sora hesitate for a moment.

'You need to get out more and make friends, just because you would outlive them doesn't mean staying within this forest all alone. thats not living,' Merlin voice sounded in Sora head, causing Sora to sigh for a moment before agreeing to the woman request...
