Chapter 5
In a small office room, James sat on the office chair while he took a glance at Chuks and Serina and the jacket that they had just dropped on the table.
"...what is the meaning of this ?" He asked.
"We're quitting.." chuks said.
"Why ? Why would you quit now ? Don't you want to avenge them ?" He asked.
"Avenge them….? Well that would be a nice thing to do…"
"...so what's the issue…."
"The sea people…..It has been a while since we've actually been in combat with each other. We hardly capture them because they are favored in the sea but they capture us whenever they find us and kill us whenever they can't….they're much more powerful than us"
"..what ... .isn't that why you signed up to the wyvern riders ? Your job is to go out there and scout the area so we can one day find a dry land"
"...mother Gaia may have forgiven us ...but the sea people haven't" Chuks sighed. "We wouldn't have needed to if it was possible…but it can't be helped…we've done our best in helping this country and this is where we say goodbye to it"
"...I can't stop you if you want to….but I wonder what your teammates would have decided if they saw you right now…"
Silence filled the dark tinted room.
It wasn't long when the sun had begun to set while the moon shined its brightness again.
They had been so busy proving their innocence in the court that they had not taken note of time.
"What do you intend on doing after this ?" Captain James asked.
"....i..I want to get married to Serina…and live a simple life from now on"
"Chuks ?" Serina stared at him in surprise. She could feel her cheeks flush as she looked away.
James chuckled. "I see, you two did seem oddly close…do whatever you want from now on"
"Thank you ...and…we intend on it". Chuks held Serinas hand and pulled her out of the room.
Their footsteps slowly faded away as James slumped into the chair. A whooshing sound suddenly occurred and footsteps could be heard.
"I apologize, Morgana….it seems tour grand daughter wasn't able to make it"
"Oh sweet James". A woman with crimson red hair and glowing red eyes walked up to him seductively. She had a perfect hourglass shape and wore a purple long robe that struggled to contain her bountiful subtle breasts. "It was her fate to be in this sort of situation…nothing can be done about it"
"...but..wasn't she supposed to take after you…as the next world King?"
Morgana chuckled. "To think you would call me that even now ... .it's about time you gave up that Nickname" Morgana slowly walked over to his table and traced her fingers on it as she walked over to him. Slowly resting her body on his chair.
"She'll come back for sure. Maybe even stronger…"
"Was that What you saw in your vision ?"
"Indeed….and it's the reason I refused to teach her the art of witchcraft…..it's not a power fitting of the savior of our kind.."
"....what do you want me to do ?"
"....it's nothing much really…for now….I want you to send search parties….it will be necessary to find her once she escapes"
"....how do you think she will escape ?"
"...how would I know…my visions only show me What i need to see.."
"....well that isn't helpful.."
"...like I said ..it can't be helped".

Ruby was brought to a home made out of concrete and gold. It definitely stood out from the rest of the buildings she's seen so far.
There were statues made out of gold placed at the sides of the gates. Each with a reference with the Greek God of the ocean. Poseidon.
"Do you know of our god?"
Ruby looked up at Loria. "...I…i…I've heard stories of her" "....I'm sure you would have...after all our gods are sworn enemies…the god of the sea, Poseidon…and the goddess of the earth, Gaia"
"There's also a god known as Zeus…the Lord of the skies"
"Is that so….well we wouldn't know since humans now live in the sky…." She giggled as she walked up to the door.
"My princess !" They heard a female voice and turned towards it. A sea woman rushed up to them hitting ruby at the same time as she held onto Loria's arms.
"These injuries….we must…we must treat them right away !" She said as she pulled her into the building.
"Stop making a fuss over something so little, Aria" she muttered, unable to refuse.
"And get Marny and Rifila to take her to the servants' abode".
"...but…my princess….she's human"
"...she's my pet and I get to decide how I treat my pet..is that not right ?" Loria stared into her eyes as they stopped walking.
Aria slowly looked down at Ruby and a clear sign of disgust was etched on her face. "As you wish for my princess". She clapped her hands and two more sea women came down through the stairs of the building as they went to fetch ruby. "We must take care of these wounds first". She pulled Loria away once again.
"Stay safe till I come fetch you…" Loria said to Ruby. "And do tell me your name next time"
Ruby slowly got up as she watched Loria being taken away.
"What is the princess even thinking ... .letting a human in the servant's abode ?"
"...it's not something that can't be done Marny, stop being cranky and just follow her orders". Rifila said as she glared at Ruby.
She couldn't help but lower her head feeling small due to their presence.
"It won't be long she stays here anyways" .
"Follow us….human".
They turned around and walked into the building while Ruby followed slowly.
Her eyes sparkled with bewilderment at what she saw. The internal structure of the building was what you would call beautiful. It was like any other royal palace but it seemed more fanciful with the specs of diamond and gold. One thing for sure, was that these were all decorations created by humans.
'...they…they use our knowledge?' She thought to herself as she climbed up the stairs.
"What is that?!". A voice echoed in her ears and she suddenly felt dizzy. Her legs gave in as she fell to her knees, gripping her stomach tight because of the sudden pain. '...is this..witchcraft ? Why…why is it so powerful..' she thought as she struggled to look up to find the perpetrator.
"She's the princess pet of your highness". They both bowed and dropped one knee tongue ground.
'Highness ?'
"....which one of them ?"
"The fifth princess, princess loria".
"Oh ... .that wenches daughter…..".
'Wench ?' Ruby slowly looked up through her blurry vision until she could finally get a good look at the king. He looked like any other but he wore more armaments and charms. His hair was blue…unlike the rest of the males she's seen so far. 'Lorias' hair was white…..is there a distinction with the color of their hair….' She thought as she struggled to get.
"Oh…that thing can fight ?" He said as he snapped his finger.
A sudden force unlike what she's felt before suddenly pushed her back down to the ground, splitting her bones causing her to black out almost immediately.
"There ... .it's much better to handle these creatures this way" he said and majestically walked away.
"This human…she's pretty interesting isn't she.." Rifila said with a smirk as she stared at her unconscious body.
"Yes….I can see why the princess is interested in her"
"....she also heard some things that were not necessary"
"...it can't be helped. Even the Chieftain was surprised at her reaction".
"....she must be a powerful mage"
"We aren't here to find out…so let's pick her up and take her to that room"
"...oh…perfect…"
