On The Way

Once day break hit Steve started to twitch slightly and jumped up from his sleeping position on the ground Steve looked a little confused when he first woke up and looked around for a bit to see Kaneid smoking his pipe

"What happened?!" Steve asked

"the boy took care of the troll now pick him up we must move before we are attacked once again" Kanied replied

"What how?! that troll was far too strong" Steve pondered

"I don't know just yet just pick him up and lets go!" Kanied shouted back

"Fine lets get a move on" Steve agreed in reluctance

Steve then went over to Eredeti's sleeping body that was laid on the tree he then picked him up and threw him over his shoulders once Kanied saw Steve pick up Eredeti he started to walk towards their destination that is still far away

"How is he even still asleep?" Steve asked

"His body must have been put under a lot of stress let him rest for now" Kanied replied

"very well so are we headed to Hobbiton?" Steve asked

"Indeed we are now hurry along we have a lot of ground to cover in a short amount of time" Kanied said

And once again their adventure continued as they continued forward slowly but surely passing through the forest they were in and were once again greeted to a vast valley with a few mountains in the distance

"Past those mountains we must traverse a vast woodlands make sure you stay close other wise you will be lost in their forever" Kanied said

"alright, but we don't have to worry about that right now do we" Steve said

"I'm just warning you before hand" Kanied said

"Wait, do we have to deal with anything before hand like wild beast?" Steve asked

"Sadly not because they can sense the even greater beings who live in the cold and barren mountains" Kanied replied

"What do you mean by sadly? Are you telling me that whatever lives their is far worse than wild beast?" Steve asked

"Indeed that is why we must do everything in out power to avoid getting to close to the mountain tops other wise I fear we may never live to see tomorrow" Kanied said with a face of seriousness

"what lives there that is so frightening?" Steve asked

"Their are snow trolls ice golems and many other creatures who dwell in the snow but most importantly the undead that make the mountains unnaturally cold" Kanied replied

"A few undead shouldn't be much of a problem?" Steve said

"Not these undead, are you familiar with the war of the blue skies?" Kanied asked

"Indeed so I believe it was said that a country waged war against the ice dragon Frostborne and its allies and it is said that its breath turned the skies blue but at the end of the war the country was in ruins and the dragon fell but Amanthel couldn't award anyone because the mage who delivered the final blow also died, is that right?" Steve said

"Indeed so and those mountain tops where all the best warriors, mages and a dragon died it wouldn't be weird if something were to happen" Kanied said

"So your telling me that those mountains were the battlefield of that horrid war!" Steve said while looking towards the mountain with a face of fear and surprise

"Indeed it was, However after the war was over the dead mage with regret and sadness of the death of his fellow countrymen along with the destruction of his country rose him from his eternal rest filled with pain he raised not only his allies but his fallen enemies as well becoming even more of a calamity than the dragon" Kanied said

"What a tragic story" Steve said with a sorrowful look

"That is reality my friend" Kanied said

Kanied and Steve continued their journey through the valley meanwhile the mage once known as Oshia the mage who mastered the elements and the leader of the brown mages who is now know as Ishgard the snow bringer who was sitting on his cold throne that was made out of carving the side of the mountain while he was surrounded by undead as the ice dragon was laying in front of him he suddenly flinches in his throne feeling a faint presence of a being who commanded authority almost calling to him for his allegiance he tried his absolute best to rid his mind of one order that shouted at him

'Serve me!'

"AGHHHHHHH" Ishgard shouted in resistance surprising his guards as his the holes where his eyes should be started to glow blue

Finally Ishgard diluted his senses so he could no longer hear the command as he looked towards the direction of the pressence

"what was that?" He ask himself

Fearing for whatever being could even make him bow he sent a few of his ice orc scouts down to the valley and forest to apprehend whoever it was before even his undead could sense it and bend to its will

Meanwhile Kanied and Steve were just traveling as fast as possible until Kanied felt a cold stare looking their direction

"What?! Why is it looking this way?" Kanied yelled

But just in case Kanied activated his magic called essence sense

"Oh Ablion give me sight to see this worlds lies and truths"

when he looked towards the cold mountain he saw a large blue eye looking down at them

"Damnit we must hurry now!" Kanied said as he prepared his spell

"Wings of Ablion takes us away from these tainted lands!"

Once they teleported right in front of the forest they began running towards it as fast as possible

"Damnit I thought you said we were fine as long as we didn't go near the mountaints!" Steve said

"I thought so too something must have grabbed its attention!" Kanied replied in a hurry

They kept running for nearly 2 hours taking no rest and finally they stopped to take a rest while Steve looked the most tired he has been in a while Kanied looked fine

"What are you a Ablion how could you not be tired after that" Steve asked

"Magic my friend" Kanied replied

Steve then went to put down Eredeti and sat down next to the slumbering Eredeti and looked up to Kanied and asked

"so where do we go now?" Steve asked

"We are almost their however we have to go through a certain path otherwise we would just end up lost" Kanied relpied

"Do you know where it is at least?" Steve asked

"Of course I do I helped make it after all" Kanied said

"So you really are that close to the hobbits?" Steve asked

"Of course, I've known them for years" Kanied answered

Once they rested for a while Steve picked Eredeti back up and followed Kanied they walked for another hour or so and reached a large boulder with a larger array of foreign language and what looked like to be magic arrays all carved into it Kanied then placed his hand onto the boulder and put magic into one of the arrays that glowed then one of the foreign language signs glowed a ray of light and pointed to the left and lit a small trail that wasn't there before

"What even is this?" Steve asked

"Think of it like a compass that points to the path you should take" kanied replied

"Isn't a bit too important to put something like the on a boulder?" Steve asked

"please only the top generals in the dark lords army or the captain of the royal swords men of the country of Zoldivolk" Kanied said

"Please as if a mere rock is that tough" Steve said

"Be my guest go ahead and try to attack it with you sword I guarantee you that it won't break" Kanied said with a smug look on his face

"Very well" Steve said with confidence

Steve then put Eredeti down on the ground and took out his sword and closed his eyes focusing on his sword before a slight blue light covered it he then struck towards the boulder with all his might but when he hit it he was flung backwards rolling back a few times before stopping

"Hmph see I told you" Kanied said with a smug grin on his face

Steve then got back up and looked at the boulder once agian but this time he had a face filled with shock

"How is that even possible? What have you done with it Kanied?!" Steve asked

"Please I merely helped if I could do this alone I would be the grand white wizard would I not?" Kanied said

"Indeed you would have to be the grand mage for such a defensive barrier" Steve said

Steve then went to pick up Eredeti and followed Kanied through the trail until they started to see houses and hobbits going about their day while many came to greet them and weren't all surprised about the appearance of outsiders until they reached a house larger than the others they passed by

"who's house is this?" Steve asked

"Well lets just say their a rather close friend of mine" Kanied said
