Fight or Run?

The 3 trolls were currently discussing their ways of cooking the 2 humans that they would soon catch

"I say we roast the lot of them" Larz said

"Ooooh I say we make a soup out of them how yummy would that be" Tarz said

""Hmm I say we eat em as is the meat taste better when its fresh and raw" Karz said

However they couldn't finish their discussion as they saw an orc running towards them

"What is it Larkta?" Karz asked in annoyance

"The humans are trying to escape and the other one is here!" Larkta replied

"Alright Larz come with me Tarz blow the horn!" Karz said

"I got your back brother!" Larz stated

"I'm already on it brother" Tarz said

"Good, now lets go eat some human!" Karz said with a big grin

POV switch Eredeti

When Eredeti heard the horn blow he looked towards Kanied with a questioning face

"I believe that might be a signal or some sorts" Kanied stated

"So that means theirs more of them?" Eredeti questioned

"We did see about 10 goblins so they might be coming here as we speak" Steve said

"No we don't have to worry about them I already dealt with them" Eredeti said

"What seriously when did you do that?" Steve asked

"before I came here actually" Eredeti replied with a bit of arrogance

"Please don't get too cocky goblins are easy to deal with" Steve said

"So what do we do about the the trolls?" Eredeti asked

"We need to stand our ground Eredeti you and Steve will hold them off while I throw the thermistones to distract and injure them" Kanied suggested

"While that doesn't sound like a bad idea I doubt you have enough stones to really do much" Steve stated

"Please I always come prepared for cases like these" Kanied said revealing a whole pocket full of the stones

"I guess were fighting" Eredeti said

While they were preparing to encounter the 3 trolls the orc went ahead and started to run fearing for his life and deciding that he wouldn't be able to help in the fight to come making his way to the cages of mounts and quickly grabbing his Caragor and setting off for the settlement on the closest side of Emanthel

The 3 trolls however were leisurely strolling down to where they left the 2 humans expecting them to already be dead or captured once more however they noticed that they didn't notice anyone coming to inform them or at least in the camp once they reached the pole where the humans were tied up all they could see were 2 dead orcs

The trolls instantly turned tense while sniffing the air intensely trying to see if they could smell the humans but all they could smell was the blood of orc and goblins

"Damnit we have to find them scatter and come back to me if you find one or at least a trail or scent use the Caragors if you have to!" Karz said

Karz started looking around the place the humans were last seen trying to find any clue to track them down again when he was looking around he was suddenly bombarded with explosions leaving him with a few burns and scratches but nothing that he couldn't handle when 2 of the humans he was trying to find started to rush at him with a sword and axe as they both struck down Karz quickly blocked with his arms when the sword and axe struck into his flesh it didn't leave much damage and only a light flesh wound

"Hah you really think that such small weapons could hurt me!" Karz yelled

POV switch Eredeti

Once the troll was bombarded with Kanied's stones Eredeti and Steve rushed at him striking him in the arms however their seemed to be little damage as the troll then yelled with confidence

"Hah you really think that such small weapon's could hurt me!"

Eredeti and Steve were both shocked at the trolls durability both of them quickly jumped back as the troll stood their looking at them like some cornered animals

"What the hell is this thing made of!" Steve yelled

"It doesn't matter we just have to keep cutting until we do damage!" Eredeti said

Eredeti then rushed towards the troll once again with his sword and started to slash at the trolls arms once more the troll quickly kicked Eredeti back as he slid on the ground it pulled out its abnormally large morning star that seemed as big as their bodies

Eredeti sat up with a little difficulty with a throbbing pain in his back and looked at the troll which was staring down Steve who had a determined look on his face Steve then rushed towards the orc at full force striking down with all his might at the trolls legs

The troll on the other hand seemed unfazed by Steve's attack and then swung its huge morning star where Steve was but he quickly rolled behind the troll striking at its legs once again Steve then jumped away and yelled

"Kanied now!" Steve said

The troll was once more being bombarded with explosions with 2 of the stones exploding on its knee Eredeti finally stood up and pulled out his short sword and struck at the trolls knees expecting the troll to finally fall however it never did the troll tried to kick Eredeti but Eredeti was to fast and rolled to his side while Kanied once again threw the stones hitting the knee once again however the troll still did not give in

"GAHHH Ill get rid of the most annoying one first!"

As the troll yelled this it started rushing towards Kanied however Steve and Eredeti started to run towards the troll however they couldn't catch up in time and when he reached Kanied it swung its morning star hitting Kanied making him go flying into the air

"NO!" Eredeti and Steve both yelled at the same time

Seeing Kanied hit the floor they finally reached the troll Steve started to attack the damaged knee with all his might while Eredeti did the same and finally the orcs knee gave in as Eredeti jumped on its back he started to stab into it with his short sword over and over causing the troll to go berserk trying to get Eredeti of his back however he couldn't reach Eredeti as he kept stabbing into its back it then used its morning star and started swinging it all over the place while Steve jumped back making sure it didn't hit him Eredeti then stabbed both of the trolls eyes making him blind

"AGHHHH!?! you little ant ill eat you!"

The troll kept screaming over and over while Eredeti was stabbing into its back Eredeti then started to stab into the back of its head while the troll was desperately trying to get him off his back doing what ever it could finally deciding to slam its back into trees and the ground however Eredeti still refused to stop finally making a large enough wound Eredeti stabbed as hard as he could finally piercing the back of its head making the troll instantly stop and drop to the floor

Once the troll dropped and Eredeti saw its soul he knew he killed it once he absorbed the soul he turned to where Kanied was seeing him on the ground not moving he ran over to him

"Kanied!" Eredeti said

Eredeti started to shake him violently

*Cough *Cough "I'm fine my boy so stop shaking me!" Kanied demanded

Once he sat up Eredeti gave him a big hug

"I thought we lost you, you old man!" Eredeti said while a tear left his eye

"Please it'll take more than that to kill this old fool" Kanied stated

Eredeti finally let go and looked at Kanied to see if their were any injuries or blood but was surprised when he couldn't find any injury at all although their could be internal injuries

"Are you sure your fine, your not in pain right?" Eredeti asked

"Of course I am you fool!" Kanied replied

Kanied then reached in his robe and got out a potion that was glowing blue and quickly drank it when he did his body was emitting a slight blue light and quickly faded a minute later

"What was that?" Eredeti asked

"You don't know? that's a recovery potion, yet I've never seen one that pure" Steve stated

"Indeed this was made by me personally, of course you've never seen it" Kanied said

While they were celebrating their victory they knew they had to either leave now or rest and prepare for another fight while they rested they heard a howl of some type and Kanied's face instantly turned grim

"It seems we can no longer escape this ordeal" Kanied said

"What do you mean by that?" Eredeti asked

"They have Wargs which means they can easily track us where ever we may go so me must take a stand here, if we wish to not be chased to the ends of these lands" Kanied replied

"Wargs?! You have to be kidding me" Steve said

"What's so bad about Wargs?" Eredeti asked

"Well their sense of smell is one of them but in all honesty their extremely difficult to fight since they travel in packs and are dangerous even alone, in fact I heard it takes 5 regular men to take one" Steve replied

"Well that's fine since we aren't regular men now are we" Eredeti proclaimed

"Indeed we are not" Kanied replied

"So what's the plan?" Steve asked

While they were discussing their plans Larz went to the cages the Wargs and Caragors were in and got out his own personal Warg to help him find the humans who escaped, Larz then let the warg sniff out a few spots and finally when it caught on to their scent it howled in the night sky

"Looks like I found them" Larz said as he smiled creepily
