Desperation

Larz immediately started running towards the group of 3 humans while closely following his warg only to realize something was amiss

'Why is it leading me back to the camp?'

Once Larz thought this he pulled the leash of the warg soo hard it flew towards the ground hard as a rock Larz then looked at it with his eyes filled with rage but the only thing the warg could do was whimper

Larz then started to sniff the air himself to see if he could smell the scent all he caught was a little whiff of it but couldn't pinpoint it due to the overbearing smell of goblin blood Larz then thought that it was a old smell they left behind. Larz once again decided to look towards the warg and shook his head to the left signaling it to try again with a look almost telling him 'If you mess up I'll eat you myself!'

The warg quickly got back up on its 4 legs and started to sniff at the ground and air once again and all it could smell was the same scent it then looked back at the massive troll that was staring at it intimidatingly it with all his anger

But all it could do was whimper back in fear once Larz saw the expression on the wargs face he came to a conclusion

'They must still be close to the camp'

Larz slowly made a large grin

'Good! That means I can eat them all to myself'

Larz then let the warg go and let it chase the smell once again, Once Larz got out of the forest clearing he saw a frightening and sickening sight a dead troll who was his older brother was dead at the feet of mere humans

His anger started to rise through the roof as he thought about his older brother who was one of the only few existences he truly cared for his brother would help him through any adversities and would always make sure he wasn't hungry or cold at night

"HOW COULD YOU PUNY HUMANS DO SUCH A THING!?!"

Larz started to instantly charge towards the 3 humans as he pulled out his great sword he swung down with great force making a crater and sending debris and dust everywhere but all of the humans jumped back avoiding the strike as all of them readied for battle once more

POV switch Eredeti

"So when the other troll comes shall we use the same plan as before?" Kanied asked

"Well if someone has a better idea I don't see a reason not to" Steve replied

Eredeti then nodded his head in approval while they were waiting for a few minutes they heard a roar come from the west side of the forest as they all looked to where it came from they saw a huge troll easily bigger than the last one they face rushing at them with a great sword in hand

Once all of them prepared to dodge the troll slashed the sword down at the closest one which was Eredeti once Eredeti jumped out of the way he quickly backed up and looked towards Kanied who could almost read his mind as he backed away letting Steve and Eredeti take on the troll from the front

The troll masked in the smokescreen from the explosion rushed out aiming for Eredeti once more

"I'LL KILL ALL OF YOU!"

The troll clearly seemed to be enraged at the loss of the other one the troll quickly slashed at Eredeti from the side as he quickly tried to dodge but once Eredeti jumped back the troll was already on him and kicked him in his stomach sending him rolling to the ground

"Aghh" Eredeti roared in pain

"What the hell is wrong with this troll he's clearly stronger than the other one?!" Steve yelled

"He is most likely a warrior troll who has been breed for combat they are much stronger and larger than the regular troll!" Kanied replied back

Eredeti then tried to quickly get up but realized the troll was once again rushing his direction however Steve wasn't just going to let that happen as he quickly ran to intercept the troll in between the 2 of them the moment Steve got there he quickly went to pierce the trolls stomach however it barely went in, the troll however was ignoring Steve like he wasn't even there and kept focusing on Eredeti

Once Eredeti got up he quickly started to run to the side trying to avoid the trolls attack and he quickly activated his new self healing ability he just obtained recently

Eredeti's wound started to slowly recover and felt a burst of energy through out himself making him feel more refreshed then normal meanwhile the troll was still trying to chase him down and was slowly catching up

"Why is he only focusing on me?!" Eredeti yelled out

"Thats because warrior trolls have a fatal flaw that only allows them to focus on only one of the people he recognizes as the enemy!" Kanied yelled back

"Just my luck!" Eredeti yelled out

Steve on the other hand was also right on the trolls backside waiting for a chance to strike

"Whats the easiest way to deal with him!" Steve shouted

"Their isn't one, Just focus on slowly damaging it and aim for the vital points especially the eyes!" Kanied yelled back

Kanied wasn't just sitting back and watching either he was slowly gathering his stock of thermistones he then took out a small mortar and carefully started to crush the stones one by one making sure that their wasn't too much friction for it to blow up and once he was done he pulled out a small cloth and wrapped the powdered thermistone in it and pulled out a a small rolled piece of paper and put it on the top

"Eredeti lead him to me!" Kanied shouted

"I hope you have a plan!" Eredeti shouted back

Eredeti then took a right running towards Kanied's direction and when they were close enough Kanied ignited the small pouch

"Dodge!" Kanied yelled

Once Eredeti and Steve jumped out of the way Kanied threw the small pouch towards the troll and once it hit it exploded in flames but that wasn't all the flame wasn't coming off it was stuck to the trolls skin burning him constantly

"ARGHHHHHHHHHHH" Larz screamed in agony

"Did we do it?" Eredeti asked

"Not yet my boy that will only slow him down!" Kanied yelled

Once Kanied said this the troll walked out of the cloud of smoke even while he was burning alive he refused to give in and once again started charging but instead his target was Kanied

"Old man run!" Eredeti yelled

Kanied then quickly got up and started to run through the camp when Eredeti and Steve were about to chase after the 2

"Don't move I'll lure him to you 2" Kanied said

while the troll and Kanied were playing a constant game of cat and mouse Kanied lured the troll towards where Steve and Eredeti were and once the troll was in range Eredeti readied his sword and jumped into the troll with all his might while activating

Steve quickly jumped up to its shoulders avoiding the parts with the never ending flame and stabbed it in its eye but only the tip of the sword could pierce through but it was still effective Steve kept trying to stab through it and was going to stab the other one but before he could

The troll roared out in pain and rage and grabbed Steve and threw him into the air making him fly from nearly 10 feet in the air and crashed into the ground now the troll was grabbing his eye and looked at the human who dared to take away his vision

Larz then started to stomp towards Steve who was knocked down and struggling to get back up and when he was almost there Eredeti quickly ran up to it slashing at it's stomach but it looked like the troll didn't even feel it he glanced at Eredeti and swung his sword with great force causing another crater to form and forcing Eredeti to fall back

The troll however was still focused on Steve who was barely standing the troll quickly rushed to him grabbed his head and threw him into the ground making him slid a few feet back the troll jumped into the air and landing on Steve's back causing him to cough out blood and scream in pain

"AGHHH"

Eredeti was trying his best to get their in time but it was too late the troll picked up Steve's head and slammed it into the ground

"NOOOOO!" Eredeti yelled

All Kanied could do was watch since he no longer had any thermistones and was out of mana

The troll then looked down with a grin on his face full of satisfaction as Steve wasn't getting back up

Eredeti's vision then went pure black confused if he died or not

"Damnit did I die?!" Eredeti screamed in the abyss

"what about Kanied what about Steve!?!"

"I can't just let them die!" Eredeti shouted

With tears dripping down his face he pounded the pure dark floor over and over to get his frustrations out

"Why damnit! WHY!?" Eredeti screamed in the empty abyss

He felt his anger rage and sadness continuing to be built up inside when all of a sudden he heard a voice

"Weak!"

"What? Who's there?" Eredeti asked in confusion

Eredeti has never heard of this voice not even wraths voice sounded like this the voice was dark cold and devoid of life and emotion

"You are weak!" The voice shouted once again

This time when Eredeti looked around he could see something a being clad in pure black armor with bright green highlights that glowed he was sitting on a throne that had skulls of beast and humans surrounding it and a extremely large dragons skull in the back that looked as huge as a mountain

"who are you?" Eredeti asked in fear and confusion

'Who is this being and how did he bring me here?'

All Eredeti could do was become more and more confused and shake in his boots at the mere sight of such a being

The being then stood up from his massive throne and started making his way towards Eredeti easily towering over him, he was as tall or even taller than the troll he was just fighting and eradiated death and power this wasn't just a simple knight he was a king a person who was truly above the rest when all of a sudden he felt a immense pressure forcing him to kneel

"You are too weak to protect those who are in arms length, You are too weak to accomplish anything!" The voice said in anger

"You must become stronger to not suffer in this world and if you truly wish to protect yourself and those close to you, You must be strong enough to kill all those who oppose you!" The voice said in a dark and intimidating tone

"You mustn't be a fool for you must have no sympathy no remorse no regret of your actions for life is forever eternal for you!" The being said

He then grabbed the side of Eredeti head as it's hand covered nearly half of his entire head

"Now leave me!"

"ARGHHHHH" Eredeti screamed in pain

as if the beings hand was melting his very soul But when the pain subsided he heard a familiar ringing sound and was once again in the endless black void of his souls and he saw a odd and confusing sight
