Contract
Xander guided Eredeti to a room that was relatively close to the fort where he killed the demon as he walked in he saw the room was filled with beds. Some of the beds were occupied and filled with groans here and there as a woman sitting on a chair would check periodically on the patients, she had brown wavy hair tied into a bun with brown eyes and a gentle face with a care free air around her. "This is the infirmary where all those injured come to recover although I personally wouldn't come here" Xander said. "And why is that?" Eredeti asked "Well to put it simply the medic who works here is a demon!" Xander said with a hint of fear in his eyes. "Hey! who are you calling demon!" The woman said "Hahaha Casandra I didn't say anything like that! I was simply telling my friend here that he should get his leg checked out" Xander replied while sweat trickled down his face. "Sure~ now on to the patient where is he?" Casandra asked. Xander adverted his gaze towards Eredeti and put his thumbs up almost as if he was saying good luck Eredeti didn't know why Xander was acting so weird but he paid it no mind and walked forward. "Hello miss, my name is Eredeti and as you can probably see by the pierced armor on my leg and the blood coming out of it I am in need of some medical attention". Although Eredeti had his self healing ability that was already taking effect he had suppressed it even though he was now in intense pain. He paid no attention to it and put the minimum amount of the cold mana flowing towards his leg making it numb but not healing at a speed that the normal eye can see. 'Don't want anyone knowing too much about my abilities' Eredeti thought as he sat down on a bed nearby as to not put pressure on the wound and causing it to bleed further.

"Oh my, Stay right there I'll be back shortly and take off your armor!" Casandra yelled at Eredeti who had blood dripping down his leg. Eredeti slowly started to remove his armor he first took off his helmet revealing his face to Xander and slowly removed his Vambraces along with his shoulder pieces. Once he took off all his armor Except the one covering the injured leg fighting through the pain he finally pulled his injured leg onto the bed to rest as he slowly slid off his last piece of armor as Eredeti saw it he was shocked. The leg was in a much worse condition than he had originally thought although his endurance was high along with his passive skill and it was covered in armor the demon's nails still pierced nearly 1-1.5 inches deep leaving a few nasty open wounds. Once Xander saw it he let out a whistle "Damn kid those sure are some nasty cuts, don't let those low rank demons fool you although they may seem weak but those claws are sharper than any regular sword". "Yeah I can feel that it's sharper than any regular blade too" Eredeti replied, the medic returned shortly afterwards and saw Eredeti lying down as she walked up to him with a small box. "Be easy on him now Casandra" Xander said
"Yeah yeah~ I'll go as gentle as possible Casandra said as she grabbed a towel and put it under Eredeti's leg. She then grabbed a rag and started wiping away the blood and applied a bandage on his leg with pressure although Casandra expected Eredeti to tell her to go easy he instead just laid back and didn't say a word. After a short while she removed the bandage as the blood slowed down and stopped flowing, she then took a small metal syringe and started to squirt some water on the wound cleaning it after around 5 minutes. "Do you need anything to numb it or do you want me to just go straight in?" Casandra asked "Just do it, you don't have to use anything to numb it" Eredeti said "Damn kid you got some balls" Xander said. Eredeti looked at Xander who had a dumb smile on his face while whispering "Good luck kid and don't die" Xander then excused himself from the room and left "Aghhh! that damn Xander always a pain in my ass!" Casandra said. "Oh and why's that? Although he seems a bit dense and a little bit of a prick he still at least entertained the idea of me joining" Eredeti said "That's exactly the point! Every time someone joins or goes to that accursed fort of his, they always come back with injuries!" Casandra said
"I can see how that can get annoying, having to constantly work when it can be so easily avoided" Eredeti said "Exactly! That guy just pisses me off with all his persistent whining, I wish he'd just shut up and stop all this persistent nonsense hahh now where were we? Oh yes I was just about to close the wound" Casandra replied. Casandra then took out a small hook like needle with some thread at the end of it as Casandra smiled Eredeti saw this and gulped the saliva in the back of his throat. Cassandra then started to slowly but surely stitch the 3 wounds shut although Eredeti felt no pain he still felt uncomfortable as a sudden realization came to him. 'Dammit! I have to get rid of all of these stitches when I leave' as Eredeti thought this he was starting to have regrets about not just leaving the instant Xander was gone. As Eredeti persisted through all the stitches Casandra was finally finished 3 hours later as Eredeti laid down with a body soaking with sweat as he looked at Casandra in a new light, a dimmer darker light that is. 'No wonder Xander said she was a demon it looked like she was enjoying that entire process' Eredeti thought "Alright were done now you can leave although you might need some crutches and try not to apply to much force on that leg and take it easy for the next few weeks and you'll be fine, I promise" Casndra said as she got up and left Eredeti laying down on the bed.
With a sigh Eredeti got up from the bed and put on his armor and limped out of the infirmary albeit a little wobbly as Eredeti struggled to walk out of the room to the fresh breath of freedom. Once Eredeti left he saw a familiar face walking down the hallway it was Xander as he looked satisfied that Eredeti could still stand. "So how was it?" Xander asked with a smirk "It was terrible you bastard" Eredeti said calmly "Is that so well toughen up your going to be through a lot more than a mere demon scratch and trust me you never and I mean never get used to the pain although you may be able to endure it to an extent." Xander said Eredeti looked at him and just sighed "Well you'll get through it, now follow me to my office" Xander said although Eredeti's leg was sore and aching he still suppressed his healing to an extent and followed Xander with a little difficulty as he struggled to use his new crutches Xander saw that Eredeti was struggling and slowed his pace. After walking for a few minutes Xander came to a stop by a door near the entrance as he opened the door and signaled to Eredeti to enter once Eredeti walked in Xander closed the door and locked it. Eredeti looked at Xander confused "Don't worry this is a regular procedure all of our members had to go through it" Xander said easing Eredeti up a little bit but just in case he calmly looked everywhere trying to find anything suspicious or out of place and just in case he sped up his recovery. As he looked around he saw a couch in front of an desk and a bookshelf next to it as well as some display cases with some unknown skulls and glowing crystals. "So what do you need me to do?" Eredeti asked "Its simple really I just need you to sign this paper" Xander said as he walked towards his desk and pulled out an piece of paper that had a weird symbol of a broken skull that had sharp teeth. "And what is this?" Eredeti said "Oh don't worry it's just a contract of secrecy" Xander explained "All it states is that you will not in any way shape or form expose any information except during recruitment"
"Hmm seems simple enough" Eredeti said "Good now all you have to do is sign with a drop of blood" Xander said "Blood?! are you this isn't a demon contract" Eredeti said "Please a demon contract is to fulfill a wish or goal or a pact of servitude or loyalty this however is just a pact of secrecy even when broken it doesn't have any penalties it simply removes your name from the other side of the contract showing you have broke it which of course if you do we will hunt you down to the ends of this planet" Xander said while releasing killing intent
