The instant Xander released his killing intent Eredeti was put on edge almost instinctively reaching for his sword gripping it with all his might as he once again surveyed the room for some hidden exit. 'Come one! there has to be something in this room that I can use, anything?!' Eredeti thought, once Xander saw Eredeti cleverly examining the room while also going into a defensive stance he nodded to himself in satisfaction and slowly withdrew his killing intent while thinking to himself 'As I thought it, this kid really is a diamond in the rough!' Xander suddenly smiled wide enough that it looked slightly terrifying. Eredeti saw the smile as a shiver shot up his spine however he could no longer feel the intense killing intent as before so he slowly let down his guard and looked at Xander with confusion and caution. "Don't worry kid I only said that to show you I was being serious and to take this matter with the utmost significance and now that you understand I hope you will proceed and a final warning this is your last time and I mean last time you will ever be able to back out now however you will still have to sign a contract of secrecy" Xander said with a stern face. Eredeti looked at the man who basically threatened him and gulped the saliva at the back of his throat 'Damn! If I knew it was going to be like this I would've found another way to get stronger! This is basically a demon's contract' Eredeti thought even though Xander said it wasn't he was basically telling Eredeti that if he didn't sign it that it would lead to disastrous consequences. Eredeti reluctantly gave into Xander's demands as Eredeti thought it was the best course of action for now as he slowly pulled out his dagger as he hovered it above is index finger and gave a look toward Xander as he slowly pulled it across his finger making a small cut with only a few drops of blood coming out of the small wound.
Eredeti then pushed his index finger against the paper as it glowed a slight orange hue with a tint of green at the bottom. The contract then burst into flames as Eredeti's name appeared onto the paper on the desk Xander was slouching on as Xander gave Eredeti a small smirk and clapped his hands. "Welp that should seal the deal welcome to the kingdoms shadow the slayer corps now you may leave as I have other matters at hand to deal with currently" Xander said. Eredeti gave him a weird look before saying "Very well" as he walked out of the office without a word, once Eredeti was out of the room Xander looked at the corner of the room as a figure wrapped in a black cape with a full set of light knight armor appeared. "So? did you do as I say?" Xander asked "Yes, sir!" the knight saluted as he replied "And? what did you find, actually before that did you find him strange any?" Xander asked. "Indeed I did however his aura was somewhat unexplainable it was as if I was in the presence of an undead yet he was clearly living" the knight replied "Oh? What do you mean by that?" Xander asked "It's weird to explain however I'll try to put it in more simple words, it felt as if he was void of life yet he was living similar to how undead are already dead so you can't deprive them of something they don't have I felt something similar to that as if, if he wouldn't die if you were to kill him" Xander pondered on the knight's words as he thought of a similar case "Is it something related to a demon lord?" Xander asked "Impossible excluding me even you would be able to smell the stench of sulfur and flames if that were the case" the knight replied. "Well your not wrong he definitely didn't seem to be related to a demon however the only case I heard of something truly not dying when killed is a demon lord because they have immortal bodies or maybe a ancient dragon or those on the power of a demon lord yet I clearly couldn't sense that amount of power on him hell even if I did I would doubt I could even stand a chance against him"
"I agree besides there shouldn't be a reason for any other order to be here besides the ravens of course however they shouldn't be able to infiltrate our ranks even if they could, we could easily sniff them out unless they used some high tier spell or had permission from the king and as far as I could tell there should only be 2 of them" the knight explained. Xander looked at him with a pleased face "Thank you very much Tyler, I am rather satisfied with this information now on to what you found out about him" once Tyler heard this his mood immediately dropped as he looked down to the floor. "I'm sorry sir, But I didn't find anything except one lead" Xander looked rather displeased but didn't say anything as he wasn't going to bash his subordinate for something so small. "It's fine your forgiven, now out with it what's the lead you have found?" Xander asked the looked up at Xander with admiration as he replied "It seems it is one of Kanied's subordinates or perhaps follower" Tyler replied however when Xander heard this he was shocked. 'Dammit your telling me that the gem I found among the garbage is going to be sent to his death?!' Xander thought 'No I can't let that happen if I can successfully nature this hatchling he can be one of the most powerful pawns of the kingdom! I must consult with his majesty immediately!' Xander thought as he subconsciously let his mana and will flow resulting in him releasing an intense aura making Tyler jump in surprise. "Sir! Please calm down" Tyler yelled making Xander snap back to reality Xander looked towards Tyler and motioned him to leave as Tyler instantly got the signal and turned into a shadow using shadow movement.

As Eredeti walked out of the room he heaved a sigh of relief as he could finally leave as he walked towards the are with the post board and where he had met Xander. When he returned he saw Alex getting pressured by a group of people. "So why did you leave!" One man said "Look guys I swear it wasn't because of anything bad I just wanted a change of pace that's all I swear" Alex said while slightly sweating. "You mean you just wanted to sit on your ass all day and be lazy!" another man said "Oh come one guys You kno-" Just before Alex was about to finish his sentence he saw Eredeti slowly walking with crutches. Alex instantly used this as a scapegoat "Sorry guys I got to, go see you guys next time!" before anyone of them could respond they saw Alex running towards a injured Eredeti. Before Eredeti could say anything he felt the stares of a group of people on the right side of the underground room staring at him however almost as if they all agreed simultaneously they looked away as if they didn't care. However they were simply honoring an unspoken rule to not mess with the newbies of the slayer corps to allow them to grow and only speak up when they reached a certain point or a bottle neck in their abilities. However Eredeti didn't really care as Alex ran up and said "Hey! what to you so long sir, also why are you injured did something happen?". Eredeti looked at him and almost face palmed himself 'Did something happen?! of course something happened otherwise why would I be using these damn crutches!' Eredeti thought to himself "Oh this? don't worry about it I just got a little scratch on my leg besides it was the initiation test of course something would happen" Eredeti said as Alex looked at him a little perplexed "Hmm strange when I took the test it wasn't much they just let a low rank beast loose and all I had to do was kill it?" Alex said. Although low rank beast and low rank demons may sound similar they are worlds apart and their strength is the difference between a mountain and a small hill. Eredeti thought a while before asking "So you didn't enter the fortress?" Alex looked a little confused before saying "You mean the fortress where they keep the imprisoned beast? Of course I didn't that would be suicidal! Wait don't tell me for the test you had to go in there?!".
