Chapter 5 Adventure

Eredeti woke up to the sound of birds chirping and a fire he got up and heard a familiar voice to the left of him

"Good morning young man it is a fine day is it not?" Kaneid said

Eredeti slowly woke up with a *Yawn* "A good morning indeed"

Eredeti then got up and went to the small stream and quickly washed his face and got up to collect his sword and dagger as he was getting his belongs together when he heard the old man say

"You don't have much belongs to be so far into these mountains one would expect to at least have enough to survive?"

"You see I am not from around these parts, I was traveling the road and took a detour to find some water the next thing I know I was lost and only yesterday found my way back" Eredeti said although a little annoyed at the constant barrage of questions he didn't mind

"Even so you are lucky to have survived this far my boy if you went even a little further you would have been attacked by the beast that dwell here"

Kaneid then tuned to a more serious mood "Better yet you were lucky enough not to be tracked down and attacked by goblins or orcs as their have been many people going missing on these mountains and strange roars could be heard at night, many say it to be remnants of the dark lords army"

Eredeti had a confused and darkened expression when he heard "The dark lord?"

"Yes the dark lord Kaliborn the most dangerous and vile existence it is said he is made out of pure darkness and hatred he wishes to rule all of middle earth and in the past he was the cause of many wars and many lives were lost, but luckily he was sealed long ago" Kaneid said in a thundering tone almost as if he was trying to tell a kid a scary bed time story to make them go to sleep

"Sounds like a terrible monster" Eredeti said

"Indeed he is, Now my boy we must be on our way as we don't wish to be late now do we" Kaneid said in a more lightened mood

"Very well, Can I ask where are we going?"

"Hmm oh yes I forgot I haven't told you yet, We are going to a very far away and secluded village that hasn't seen outsiders very often it is called Hobiton the homes of the hobbits" Kaneid said

"What is a hobbit?" Eredeti asked

"A hobbit my boy is similar to a human but half the size and have very bizarre feet"

Eredeti had a confused expression "Bizarre how so?"

"Their feet are bizarre because they don't need shoes as their feet skin is similar to leather and its also quite wide and has hair growing atop of it" Kaneid said

"Quite bizarre indeed" Replied Eredeti

"Ahhahah my boy you are replies are simply to funny" Kaneid said

"Alrighty then where do we travel to now" Eredeti asked

"Oh yes yes we should keep heading north on the trail to avoid any beast or monsters that may attack us then we shall head west to the vast plains of the grassy myers then we shall continue on that road for about a 3 days travel" Kaneid said

"Seems like a long trip but I am still ready for such a journey none the less" Eredeti said in a almost boastful tone

Kaneid had a smirk on his face when he said "We shall see won't we"

Eredeti and Kaneid then continued further down the trail and once they exited the forest Eredeti looked up to the sun and a mountainy terrain with rocks everywhere and a trail leading down the mountain only resting for a few short minutes they continued on their travels

Kaneid then took a left and jumped onto a mountain ledge and started carefully walking on the ledge making sure not to misstep he then turned to Eredeti with a smirk and said "Do you still think you are ready for this adventure my dear boy?"

Eredeti then smirked back and said "Of course, At least I should do better than a old man"

Eredeti then quickly jumped to the ledge and held the wall to ensure he didn't fall when Kaneid saw Eredeti made it to the other side he continued on, they were traveling on this mountain for about 5 hours and Eredeti was growing tired "Old man how much further do we need to travel to get off this forsaken mountain"

Kaneid looked behind him and saw that Eredeti was falling behind "Not much further my boy, now quickly keep up as we don't want to be separated do we now"

Eredeti quickly tried to catch up just to stumble and nearly fall Kaneid quickly turned back ready to grab the boy but once he looked back at Eredeti and saw he was fine so he stopped and said "My boy I told you to prepare for such a trip it seems we must take a quick rest, now quickly let us find a cave to take refuge in"

Eredeti then nodded his head up and down and said "How are you not tired old man?"

Kaneid looked at Eredeti with a smirk and said "I am simply in better shape than you"

"Heh sure" Eredeti said with a sarcastic tone

Eredeti and Kaneid walked for 10 more minutes and found a cave on the side of the mountain to take a break in but once they got inside the cave it started raining and thunder started to shake the earth around them, while they were inside they quickly found somewhere to sit down and once they did they heard sounds of boulders crashing onto the mountain like a land slide and once it was over Eredeti went to take a look then all of a sudden the cave they were in started shaking and Kaneid shouted "Eredeti get down now!"

Eredeti quickly rolled to the floor immediately he and Kaneid grabbed onto the walls that were shaking vigorously the mountain then felt as if it stood up and all of a sudden

*Crash*

A huge hole was formed on the side of the cave revealing the outside of it once Eredeti saw what was outside he was shocked as to what caused the huge hole it was a gigantic humanoid figure that looked like a mountain and it quickly raised its hand again in a striking manner and it hit the side of the mountain they were on Kaneid quickly grabbed his staff and chanted "Wings of Abilon take us away from these tainted lands"

Eredeti and Kaneid were teleported 200 meters away from their original position and a trail of yellow feathers were left from where they originally were, once they were teleported away Eredeti looked up to see a battle of giants taking place as they were constantly battling Kaneid quickly grabbed onto Eredeti's arm and said "Hurry we must leave this place it is far to dangerous!"

They then hurriedly continued towards a forest and once they were inside of it Eredeti took out a piece of meat and ate and asked Kaneid for some water to which he complied and gave him some

SP recovering 42%...67%....83%...Complete

After resting for half a hour they started their journey once more and quickly made their way forward and out of the forest as it was getting late Kaneid said "This should be far enough let us set up camp and rest for tonight we get a move on first light"

Once they set up camp Kaneid didn't do much and went went straight to sleep but Eredeti had other plans

"Old man you awake?" Eredeti waited for a reply but Kaneid said nothing so he thought he was sound asleep

Eredeti got up grabbed his sword 'What is this boy doing?!' Kaneid thought that Eredeti was going to attempt to attack him in his sleep but to his surprise he instead walked away

Eredeti then picked up his sword and walked away as he wanted to train his swordsmanship just incase he encountered something like a goblin again once he was a good distance away he started practicing he didn't know of any sword techniques so he just did what came naturally to him and while he was at it he activated his skill

Eredeti continued to practice for nearly 4 hours he Continually slashed at the trees nearby practicing and he accidently struck one down completely, worried he woke Kaneid he quickly deactivated his skill and returned to camp to see if the old man awoke and once he saw that Kaneid was fast asleep he let out a sigh of relief he then laid down to get some rest before he had to wake up to continue the adventure he was on little did he know Kaneid was watching him the entire time

POW switch to Kaneid

Once Eredeti walked away Kaneid quickly got up and casted a camouflage spell that made his footsteps quite and his presence hard to sense he started to follow Eredeti who was starting to get deeper into the woods 'What is this boy thinking of doing'

When Eredeti stopped Kaneid felt a rather eerie and uncomfortable feeling and he took a look at what happend just to see Eredeti weapon was coated with a green and black sinister aura which eradiated his sword when he was looking at his sword he felt a deep and dark power coming from it, he was about to stop Eredeti from doing whatever he was about to do when he started to use the sword to strike the air and some trees 'Is he practicing some form of swordsmanship?'

'It doesn't matter if he is or isn't he shouldn't be using such sinister powers' Kaneid was thinking of stepping in to stop Eredeti from continuing but he saw that he was completely fine and just kept practicing although his swordsmanship was a bit unrefined it still had traces of training or some form of practice for some time so Kaneid just decided to watch in the end

But what surprised Kaneid the most was the Eredeti had sliced through a tree completely 'This young man is rather powerful isn't he' once he saw that Eredeti was shocked and started to run back to camp Kaneid had to hurriedly get there before him so he used the same teleportation spell as before and once he arrived at the camp that was only 175 meters away he quickly laid back down and made it look like he never left once Eredeti arrived and laid down as well 'this young man has some potential but he his a double edged sword with that power of his' Kaneid thought to himself

Kaneid then feel asleep and rested until the sun rose
