Chapter 299: Special treatment 1

"Don't scold her; it was not her fault." Raymond defended.

Mr Clinton was surprised. He had never seen Raymond defend someone before.

"I will go and get the coffee." Daisy muttered, looking down, trying to press a button on the elevator.

"It's okay, you can get it later. I don't really need the coffee." Mr Clinton muttered, smiling nervously.

"So when did you start working here?" Raymond inquired, with his eyes fixed on Daisy.

"Who me?" Daisy asked bluntly.

"Yes, you." He muttered.

"Yesterday," she replied flatly.

"Wait, do you guys perhaps know each other?" Mr Clinton inquired.

"We are just acquaintances; her son is my friend." He muttered.

"Her son? Are you that old?" Mr Clinton asked, staring at Daisy from top to bottom.

"No-no, her son is a little boy." Raymond stated bluntly.

Mr Clinton smirked

"Oh my bad." He remarked, smiling. Raymond's eyes drifted to Daisy. For some reason, he couldn't get his eyes off her. She was gloomy and he felt like she didn't want to look at him.

Raymond leaned closer to Mr Clinton and whispered something in his ear. Daisy stared at the two of them, wondering what they were talking about when Mr Clinton's eyes widened.

"Are you sure?" Mr Clinton asked softly.

"Yes, just a few minutes." Raymond muttered.

Mr Clinton's stole a glance at Daisy.

"Okay," he muttered.

They all stood in the elevator waiting for it to reach their floor. Suddenly, the elevator came to a halt on their floor as the door opened.

Daisy wanted to get out of the elevator when Raymond grasped her hand and dragged her back into the elevator as Mr Clinton rushed out of the elevator.

Daisy opened her eyes slowly and realized Raymond was extremely close to her and her lips were pressed against his neck.

She opened her eyes wide in surprise and moved away from him, immediately cleaning her lips.

Raymond touched his neck and smirked. For some reason, he was enjoying the whole thing.

He moved closer to her and put his hand above her head. She was frightened, looking down, avoiding his gaze.

He moved closer to her again. They were extremely close as he slid his hand down her face and stopped on her chin, lifting her face so she could look at him.

Their lips were extremely close as Daisy looked up at him. Her eyes were shaking as she inhaled his scent.

"What are you doing, sir? Let me go." She protested.

Raymond stared at her tempting lips and felt the urge to kiss her. He closed his eyes and started moving closer to her in a attempt to kiss her.

Daisy slapped him hard across the face. He smiled as he held his face. The slap was like a baby's touch.

He smirked and held her hand to the wall, moving closer to her.

Daisy sucked in her lips, looking away.

"Please let me go, sir. I don't flirt with married men." She muttered, staring at him.

The word echoed in his ear as he let go of her, holding his head.

Daisy rushed to the door, pressing the exit button on the elevator continuously.
