Chapter 280: Realization

"That is not what I want, but at least I deserve to know." Daisy groaned, putting her hand on her face.

"That's good to hear. I am glad that you are sensible now, and don't want him to regain his memory. It's all for the best." Mrs Louis muttered.

"Yes, I don't want him to remember. I will never forgive him for what he did. Ryan only belongs to me," Daisy muttered, clenching her fist as she glared at him.

"What are you guys whispering about?" Gwen inquired as she traced Daisy's gaze to Raymond.

She put her hand on Daisy's shoulder.

"Isn't he handsome?" Gwen inquired.

"I don't know." Daisy muttered, looking away.

"Can you guys handle the party? I feel it would be better not to be here any longer." Daisy muttered. She was afraid Raymond would start remembering something as long as she was present.

"What are you saying? This is your son's birthday. What can be more important than that?" Gwen inquired.

"Don't go anywhere, stay. This is the last time we are going to see him." Mrs Louis stated.

"You can't catch me!" Ryan started running away from Raymond, who was chasing him.

"I wonder how Ryan came to know him, and he seems to like him too much. I will try to prevent them from meeting in the future." Daisy stated.

"Then you have to consider my offer. Let's migrate to Britain." Mrs Louis stated. Gwen folded her hand and stared at them. She was the only one not understanding what they were both talking about.

Ryan ran to Daisy and hid behind her back as Raymond ran to them.

"This is cheating. You can't hide behind anyone." Raymond said he was trying to go behind Daisy.

Daisy pulled Ryan from behind her and stared at him with a frown.

"Are you a little kid? Behave yourself." Daisy scolded.

Ryan screwed up his face, glaring at Daisy.

"Why are you yelling at him? He is just a little kid." Raymond defended.

Daisy looked up at him with a frown...

"I was talking to my son, not you." Daisy snarled.

"Daisy, stop, you are acting mean." Gwen muttered.

Ryan grabbed Raymond's hand.

"My hero come, let's go stand over there." Ryan muttered, walking with Raymond, who was still staring at Daisy. He was wondering what made her angry and she felt like someone he had seen before but couldn't remember where. The more he tried to think, the more his brain hurt.

Minutes later.

Mr Josh brought the cake into the house and handed it to Daisy, who dropped it on a table in the middle of the house.

"Raymond has lost his memory." Mr Josh whispered in her ear..

"I know, I noticed." She replied bluntly.

"Where were you all this time? I think he is missing you despite losing his memory." Mr Josh beamed.

"That's none of my business." Daisy replied flatly.

"Why are you talking like that? I know Raymond loves you. When he was in the hospital, your name couldn't leave his mouth. I wondered why he forgot about you so easily." He stated.

"Why are you telling me all this?" She asked, glaring at him.
