Chapter 265: Blind date

"Which children?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

"About the number of children we are going to have in the future." He muttered and started talking as Gwen held tightly to the string of her bag.

"I want our first child to be a boy, he must be cute and smart and also have black.....he paused as he didn't see Gwen anymore.

"Where did she disappear to?" He muttered, asking no one in particular as he got up from his chair and started running out of the restaurant when the waiter called out to him.

"Sir, you haven't paid your bill." The waiter stated 

"Wait, let me go and..." He paused and walked over to the waiter, bringing out his wallet......

Daisy strolled into the restaurant as she sighted Ryan doing his homework on a table. He didn't see her, so she walked over to Mr Yan.

"Have you delivered it?" He inquired.

"I have here is your money." She muttered as she handed him the money.

He drew out a few dollars and handed them to her.

Daisy stared at the money, wondering why he was giving it to her.

"Don't worry, it's not part of your paycheck, it's for the extra work." He beamed. She quickly collected it from him.

"Thank you." She beamed.

"Didn't you say you wanted to go shopping with Ryan?" He inquired.

"Yes." She mumbled.

"You can go now, so you don't arrive at the mall late." He stated.

"Thank you, Grandpa." She beamed, mimicking Ryan.

He smiled widely at her. She turned to go to Ryan when she saw him standing beside her with his backpack.

"When did you get here?" She inquired.

"Just a few seconds ago, so shall we go?" He asked, smiling from ear to ear.

"Wait, let me get my bag." She muttered.

"Already ahead of you." Mr Yan stated as he gave her her bag.

She took it from him and grabbed Ryan's hand as they both started walking out of the restaurant.

They stood in front of the restaurant as Daisy hired a taxi. They both hopped in as it zoomed off.

Ryan turned to Daisy.

"Mom, my hero came today, I have invited him to my birthday." He beamed.

"No wonder you are getting so excited about going to the mall, I would like to see your hero though." She stated, stroking her chin.

"You will definitely see him, promise me not to fall in love with him." He added, her eyes widened.

"Love... love? How did you know the word "love?" She asked, with her mouth hanging loosely. He burst into laughter, laughing at her.

"What's funny? Answer my question?" She snapped.

"I am old enough to know what love is, we were taught the meaning of love when we were reading the creation story of how God loved the world." He replied.

"You know too much." She muttered, narrowing her eyes at him. 

"So mom, when are we going to go see Daddy? I hope my daddy is more handsome than my hero?" He inquired.
