Chapter 236: The man of the house 2

Raymond put his phone in his pocket and gave him a cold glare.

"Stop giving me that consigned look you know I hate it." Raymond snarled.

"I am getting worried about you, I want you to get better." Mr Josh muttered.

"Who told you I am sick, I am fine you don't have to get so worried, you are acting like my mother." Raymond replied.

"I am sorry, if I am acting like a relative, but I have been working with you for many years and I know you better than I know myself." Mr Josh.

"Stop beating around the bush and go straight to the point." Raymond declared with a straight face.

"I want to advise you to go on a vacation from work, or maybe spend some time with Sofia; maybe your insomnia will go away." Mr Josh. Raymond gasped.

"Who told you I have insomnia?" He inquired.

"Your doctor told me and he was also worried about you." Mr Josh stated. Raymond narrowed his eyes.

"It seems I can't trust anyone these days." He mumbled.

"Try to spend sometime with Sofia. Maybe you will get some quality sleep." Mr Josh guessed. Raymond gave him a hard glare, which made sweat drop from his forehead.

"Why do I have a feeling that Sofia has bribed you to say all this? I don't think a wife is what I need now. I am not just at peace with myself, it's like there is something missing from my life, something that makes me happy and keeps me going, but it's kind of frustrating." Raymond lamented putting his hand on his face.

Mr Josh opened his eyes in surprise. It turned out that Raymond was going through a lot without Daisy, although he had lost his memory and they were all forbidden to even mention her name.

Raymond looked up at him.

"Do you think there is something you can do to make me happy?" Raymond inquired.

"I'm not sure, sir, how about we go to the club and maybe you can pick up a whore there since you don't want to spend time with Sofia?" Mr Josh suggested

"Whores, are you kidding me? Those used dumplings that different men with different diseases have sex with all the time? Come on, I am better than that, just take me home." Raymond declared.

"But sir... Raymond cut in.

"End of discussion!!" He declared.

Mr Josh turned to face the steering wheel and ignited the engine, driving off as he kept staring at Raymond, who was holding his head.

Minutes later.

They arrived at the mansion, Mr Josh parked the car in the parking lot as Raymond stepped out of the car, walking quickly to the entrance of the house.

"Welcome, king." The bodyguards greeted.

"Hmm." He mumbled and strolled into the house with his hand in his pocket.

He sniffed the air as the aroma of food entered his nostrils.

"Mr Josh!!" He yelled at the top of his lungs.

"I am coming, sir," Mr Josh replied as he ran to him.
