Chapter 228: New Raymond 2

"Really? When did they tell you?" Mrs Kingston inquired.

"Yesterday, I hoped it was true so that we could leave together." Sofia squealed.

"What are you getting so excited about? Do you think he is going to accept you?" Mrs Kingston muttered.

"Although he lost his memory, he still sees me as an ugly girl who did plastic surgery to get his attention. I want him to fall in love with me naturally this time, but no matter how hard I try, he just comes back from work tired and sleepy." Sofia groaned.

"I know I have observed that, but you shouldn’t give up. Try to woo your husband, I wish it was still that time he used to listen to me. I would have started pestering him that I want a child." Mrs Kingston added.

"But now he calls the shots in this house, even father can’t scold him." Sofia grunted, stroking her hair back shyly.

"I hope he regains his memory except from the part Daisy was in." Sofia added.  

"If he wanted to regain his memory, he would have years ago, the doctor said he might not likely regain his memory." Mrs Kingston stated.

"Maybe that is because he isn’t around the people he used to see." Sofia muttered.

Raymond was walking out of the house, approaching Mr Josh, who was waiting in front of his car for him.

He was about to enter his car when Richard stood in front of him.

"What do you want?" Raymond asked with a straight face.

"Why are you so cold? You don’t even smile. It’s like you have forgotten the cheerful you since you lost…" Richard paused. They were asked not to talk about memory loss in front of Raymond.

"Since I lost what?" Raymond asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I have no idea," Richard replied.

"Better, now get out of my way. I have a meeting to attend." Raymond stated coldly as he pushed him away from his car and stepped inside.

Mr Josh rushed to the other side of the car and drove off as Richard watched them go.

"I miss my old brother, now he is acting like a cold and cunning bastard." He muttered, shaking his head when his assistant ran to him.

"We have a photo shoot at Jennifer’s gallery now." He declared.

"Good, let go." Richard declared as he walked to his car with his assistant, who opened the car for him. They hopped into the car and drove off.

Richard was driving past Daisy’s house.

"Stop!!" he declared.

"What now, sir?" Dave inquired as he stopped the car.

"Give me a sec. I want to check up on someone." Richard declared as he stepped out of the car and strode to Daisy’s doorstep and rang the doorbell.

"I am coming!!" Mrs Louis yelled from inside the house.

She opened the door and eyed him. She wanted to close the door when he grasped it.

"Good morning." He beamed.

"Morning, what do you want?" she asked, folding her hand across her chest as she glared at him.
