Chapter 199: Cheating wife

"Hello Chris I will call you back." Daisy beamed.

"No-no don’t hung up, if you call me back, we are done." He stated.

"What do you mean, we are done? Are you threatening me?" she asked bluntly.

"I am not, I am stating the fact, I want to see you in 10 minutes. Don’t be late." He stated and hung up.

"Who was that man on the phone? Don’t tell me you are cheating on your husband?" Sofia said, air quoting the sentence.

"What if I am? It’s none of your business." Daisy stated, with her head held high, she was about to walk out of the room when the maid approached her.

She dropped the water on the floor and looked up at Daisy.

"Shall we begin?" she asked bluntly.

"I am sorry, I have to go, tell Sofia to help you." Daisy said and walked out of the room.

"Hey! Come back here!!" Sofia yelled.

The maid turned to look at Sofia.

"Will you help me?" she asked, avoiding her gaze.

"Go to hell!" Sofia declared as she walked out of the room, trailing Daisy.

Daisy rushed into her room.

She walked to the wardrobe and opened it, thinking Raymond was in the bathroom.

"i have to go, I will be back!!" she exclaimed, but got no response. She took a fur coat and put it on just as Sofia walked into the room, blocking the entrance of the room.

"What do you want?" Daisy asked, glaring at her.

"Are you kidding me? You don’t know what I want? Where are you going, bitch?" Sofia cursed.

"Get out of my way." Daisy said and pushed her out of the way.

"Who does she think she is to stop me?" Daisy said under her breath as she saw Mrs Kingston coming from the other corner of the house.

She used her bag to hide her face and quickly ambled out of the house without looking back.

Sofia sauntered over to Mrs Kingston.

"Mom, Daisy has gone out," She reported."

"Are you sure of what you are saying? I asked her to spread the clothes." Mrs Kingston replied.

"She didn’t mom, she went out to see someone. I think it’s a guy or something." Sofia muttered as she crossed her hands across her chest.

Mrs Kingston pursed her lips into a thin line. She didn’t know what to say.

"Mom, do something, you can’t let her get away with this." Sofia stated, holding her arms. 

"Don’t worry, I will deal with her when she comes back, in the mean time, go and assist the maid for me, will you?" Mrs Kingston stated.

Sofia opened her eyes wide in surprise.

"You are joking right, you don’t expect me to go and help her?" Sofia asked.

"I am not joking, who do you want to help her me?" Mrs Kingston asked, putting her hand on her chest.

"Arrgh." Sofia grunted as she ran her hands through her hair.

"I am going to have some beauty sleep, don’t disturb me until dinner." Mrs Kingston declared and strode away.
