Chapter 141: Stubborn parents 2

"That’s good news, I will come with Sofia tomorrow she will be happy."

"I forgot to tell you that we have a problem." Mr Kingston stated.

"What problem?"

"He has a wife now."

"What!!" Mr. Marcus screamed.

"That’s the truth, but I have a plan." Mr Kingston stated, waving his hand at Mrs Kingston to leave the room.

She screwed up her face and walked out of the room. She looked around and rested her ear on the door to listen to their conversation.

"Here is the plan…" Mr Kingston stated and started whispering into the phone.

Raymond walked into his room and slammed the door.

He looked around the room, but he couldn't find Daisy.

He ran his hand through his hair and sat on the bed.

"What have I done to deserve this? All these things make me want to die." Raymond lamented.

"Why do you want to die?" Daisy inquired, walking out of the bathroom.

"My life is messed up, It’s not going the way I want. Maybe being born with a sliver spoon is not the life everyone should hope for." He whined.

"If I were you, I would be happy to be rich." Daisy muttered.

"You won’t understand when your family arranges a suitor for you that you don’t like, you will know what I mean." He replied.

"I understand your pain, but you have to talk to your parents."

"And you think I haven't? They are just a set of stubborn people, they want me to marry her at all cost, even if I end up having two wives. Which man has two wives at my age?" he inquired, looking keenly at her.

"No man gets married to two wives in this 21st century, and they know that you will be able to take care of them, that why they are suggesting it," She whined.

"I can’t even think of getting married to Sofia." He whined. And then they started hearing a knock on the door.

"Look who it is." Raymond stated and relaxed on the bed. They were the maids. They handed Daisy her luggage and she was about to close the door when they held it.

"The lady has asked me to tell you to come down stairs and join them for dinner." She beamed.

"Okay, I am coming." Daisy muttered.

She rested her luggage on the wardrobe and looked at Raymond on the bed.

"Your mum says we should come and join them for dinner." She said, softly staring at him.

"You go, I am not going." he declared, facing the other side of the bed.

Daisy sighed and walked down the stairs as the maids followed her.

The whole family was staring at her as she walked down the stairs, their eyes never leaving her, and she regretted why she came downstairs.

She walked to the dining table, and a maid drew out a chair for her next to Mrs Kingston. Daisy wanted to sit when Mrs Kingston drew the chair. She nearly fell to the floor.

"Sit somewhere else." Mrs Kingston declared She walked to sit with Richard.

Richard leaned closer to her and whispered in her ear.

"Don’t mind my mum." He muttered.
