The Pecking Order

After the whole lover birds incident, the tournament had officially begun! For Shin, this was nothing more than a game as he moved up the ranks until he reached the final round

As many students were competing this year, all of them were all split into two divisions A and B to make it easier to manage and for the rounds to go quickly so they can get to the final round of the tournament

Shin was put into Divisions A and what he heard from his friends was that the majority of Class-A were put into Division B, Goku, and Momo Included. He kissed Momo goodbye and farewell to his friends and made to Divisions A grounds

And that's everything that led up to the current moment. Nothing really happened for Shin as he fought everybody and moved up the ranks. there weren't many people he found interesting as he one-shot everybody he fought against. There were some interesting ones that caught his attention like the yellow-haired boy that seemed to have a move that heavily resembled a Rasengan or that boy from America who kept yelling "PROPANE NIGHTMARE!" and somehow his opponents seemed to get their asses kicked

There was also this other person that seemed to be always looking at him so intensely and sometimes even lick his lips as he rambled on about Bungee gum. Shin just decided to ignore him as they gave the creeps but somehow they always seemed to be close to him no matter where he goes

Shin just pushed the issue aside and looked up at the tournament bracket and wasn't surprised to Goku was already far ahead in the tournament. As for Momo and Mina, it seemed they were also doing alright but Shin knew eventually they would meet their match before ultimately losing. Both of them are strong due to their quirks and how well they use them but put them against somebody who is really strong or fast and they will crumble. He made a mental note the next he has alone time with Momo to teach her how to properly use Ki. That would give her a good power boost and a better chance of defending herself if something went wrong

As he was thinking about what type of training he should give Momo, He heard the tournament announcer "ITS TIME EVERYONE FOR THE NEXT MATCH! SON SHIN VS HANK HILL! BOTH CONTESTANTS PLEASE MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE ARENA!" Shin got off his seat and made his to the area to fight another boring battle all while ignoring the constant stares he was getting

"I'M GONNA KICK YOUR ASS! WITH THE POWER OF MY STAND PROPANE NIGHTMARE!"

"H'WHAT H'WHAT H'WHAT H'WHAT H'WHAT H'WHAT H'WHAT H'WHAT H'WHAT H'WHAT H'WHAT H'WHAT H'WHAT H'WHAT H'WHAT H'WHAT H'WHAT H'WHAT!"

Shin felt something hitting him over and over and he couldn't tell what. He was just focused on his opponent's face as it remedied him of someone but couldn't tell who. eventually, he got bored and finished him off

"I-I'm sorry...Peggy, I wasn't stt....strong enough" he said before he went unconscious

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN WE HAVE A WINNER! SUNWOKONG'S DESCENDENT, SON SHIN!!!" Everyone in the stadium once again cheered at another one of shins' victory. He quickly became the fan favorite due to his overbearing strength and all of the times he demolished everybody with one hit. He was quickly labeled as the conquer of the tournament

Shin just sighed and began to walk back inside. He was quickly getting bored of everything as he kept fighting and moving up the bracket. There was nobody strong enough to satisfy him and the other people that looked remotely interesting was due to their looks or quirks besides that they weren't anything special

Shin walked back to his seat that overlooked the arena and sat back down. He continued to watch over the next few matches but ultimately deemed it boring to watch and closed his eyes before falling asleep

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------As Shin opened his eyes he felt something heavy laying on his shoulder. He just smiled as knew who it was already and turned his head to see Momo sleeping peacefully on his shoulder. He then started to poke her face gently to wake her up

"Wake up sleepyhead what are you doing here?"

She rubbed her eyes and began explaining what she was doing here. Apparently, she lost to this emo-looking kid whose eyes turned red and was able to outspeed her. after that she made her way all the here to division A to spend the rest of the time with him

"So are you ever going to tell me what happened?"

"Hmmm? what do you mean?"

"You know the whole body change. The dramatic change of your hair and your eyes which were black before is now completely yellow. I was shocked when you said your name as I wouldn't have recognized you"

Shin just chuckled "Do you like it?"

Momo pondered for a moment as she stared right at him "I like the changes of your eye color. But your hair mhhhhhh, we might have to do something about it"

Shin just laughed as he spent more time with momo, talking and eventually cuddling with each other before they heard the announcer once more calling out for Shin's name and his new opponent. When he heard the name of the other person, he became excited again as he was bored with the other opponents but was thrilled with the thought of crushing his new foe "I guess I have to show him the pecking order"

Momo just kissed him on the cheek "Try not to hurt him too badly"

he just chuckled as he did the same thing back to her "No promises. He had this coming for a long time" He then started to make his way to the arena but looked at the big screen once more before he left
