Beau waited several minutes, breathing quietly through his mouth so as not to give away his presence, his gun now in one hand. Then, when Nash came to a stop, Beau pushed up to sit on the edge of the back seat, snaking his arm around the headrest, his gun pressed to Nash’s throat. “Keep driving,” Beau said tightly. “Find a nice, quiet place where we can talk without anyone interfering.”
