Chapter 12(Bored)
Nathan was driven to Golden day hotel by the Kanes guard. He was accompanied by three luxurious cars in which nine guards occupied. Among this nine was Mr Dwayne.
Nathan was against the idea of having them accompany him back to school but his Uncle insisted. He was still very shy to such respect and attention.
Immediately they arrived,the guards alighted from the cars and lined up in a commanding and appealing fashion. All in a Italian black suited suit. It was a trademark dressing of the Kanes.
This attracted the attention of many individuals who were in the Golden day hotel. The Golden day hotel is an edifice and a work of art. It is one of the magnificent and commanding hotel in the University.
It provides the best possible accomodations for the very rich individuals in various part of the states hence all occupants of the hotel were people of importance.
As all gaze were on the Kanes entourage,a young man alights majestically from the black Rolls-Royce phantom. All of the guards bowed as he headed for the entrance accompanied by Mr Dwayne and two other guards while the others wait. There entrance was like that of a movie scene in slow motion.
The individuals who were already turned spectators watched with admiration,it was like a movie. A lot of ideas flows in their minds who could this be?. They expressions were innocent and natural.
"This cars are worth a fortune, whoever this dude is he is excessively rich".
"Who is this?"one of the ladies asked without actually directing the question to any particular person.
"I don't know but whoever he is, he must be a powerful individual" a guy replied nonchalantly.
"Hmmm he is so handsome and well built, I just hope to have him all to myself" a young lady spoke as she couldn't help but admire the very beautiful creature before her.
"They are obviously showing off flaunting their enormous wealth " A man wearing a face cap spoke with envy.
Nathan though shy at the sudden attention directed towards him still maintained his composure. He was already used to such attention but not in such a good way.
Before now the gaze, stares and looks used to be disgusting, demeaning and humiliating but now it was very otherwise.
The spectators wished to be like him. They respected him even though they visibly don't show it but inside they envied him. He is now something that they will surely kill for to have. The power of wealth cannot be overemphasized. He has come to understood this.
As he entered the able manager of the hotel was already standing with his crew waiting for him. They were lined up in an astounding and stunning fashion. It was like a homecoming of a king.
The ladies dressed up in a red and white dress while the men in a red and white trousers and shirt. It was like they having been preparing for it.
The Hotel were already informed about the incoming of the very important guest. They were not really sure of who was coming but the very cold fact that the hotel booking was from the Kanes they must show utmost respect to whoever he or she may be.
"Welcome sir " as the manager brought out his two hands for a shake, one holding the other in other to show respect.
"Thank you" Nathan replied as he Shaked him.
The whole staff bowed to him. This gestures didn't actually matter to him because a year before now he wouldn't even be able to enter the gate let alone be allowed inside.
Nothing changed, just his identity.Iinfluence and money surely that must be what there were showing respect to.
"Please sir" the manager gestures his hand to a direction as he followed them.
The Hotel was surely up to the hype for someone like Nathan who could only hear and see them in advertisment. He is now oportuned to actually behold the work craft exuded on the building.
He was introduced into his apartment and it was indeed the best room around. Though still nothing like his apartment in Kanes Castle, it still was a nice view.
The big sized bed, the sofas, the huge plasma TV, the audacious wardrobe ,the kitchen, the bathroom and many other things were of the best quality.
"How much is for the rent?" Nathan asked although the bills was already settled by his uncle.
"$8 million sir" the manager responded calmly while trying to avoid eye contact with him
This is surely a huge amount to Nathan especially for a year rent. This amount could mount him the best possible building in some part of the city.
Nathan though more than $200 billion rich was still conscious of various amount being mentioned.
"Young master you shouldn't bother, your uncle had already paid for it" Dwayne chipped in. He has been around making sure that everything was going well.
It was a temporary place for him before he finds a better place. He was very pleased with the organisation of the building especially the beautiful view that it offers it's customers.
To the manager it was a privilege receiving a guest directed by Mr Kane. Nathan status was still unknown. It was to remain a secret at least for the time being to allow for his full transformation.
After some hours, the guards including Dwayne left. He strongly stood against the idea of having guards around him, to him it draws unnecessary attention.
His cars was still under customization hence he was left with a Mercedes Benz. A fair car at least compared to his already selected car. All the same it was his choice. All he have to do is to wait for the cars arrival. Mr Dwayne had already told him that it will take just a week more.
Food was brought for him, a sumptuous meal but it wasn't really a surprise to him he has heard a lot of good things about the Golden day hotel.
After the meal he thought about the next thing to do. He had a lot of life ahead of him. He need to find a balance between being a Kane and being a student.
