"The next match is between Aria Tungston and Lois Warlok! May the match begin!"

Aria grew her signature earth spear and swivelled it around before aiming it at her target.

Her fighter was around 6'2, but he began to grow in height. His arms grew in size and so did his chest. His eyes started to glow a distinct red and red streaks of energy flowed around his body. Lois had gelled brown hair with shaven sides, as well as dark brown eyes.

"RRAAAHH!!" He screamed at the ground, charging forwards toward Aria.

She noticed his undying and vehement rage and began to adjust accordingly. Her stance switched to a more defensive one, which was also much better suited for counterattacks. She stood still in place, and didn't make any rash movements. She definitely didn't want to attack the person head-on since he probably had more than 40 kilograms on her.

As he approached, she aimed her spear forward by grasping onto both sides tightly. To prevent getting cut with the sharp end of the spear, she coated her hands in the tough rock that she had used for the spear as a layer of protection.

*thud*

Lois slammed his own, larger hands onto the spear and had prominent muscles in his forearms and arm. Initially, Aria had a tough time battling this force but this is what she had predicted. He likely weighed above 110 kilograms in this amplified state and she weighed less than 65 kilograms, which was even heavy for a girl her height because of her muscle mass.

However, she didn't intend on going into any power struggle with Lois to overpower him. She had another strategy.

*drop*

Suddenly, Lois' body foiled over as his force drove his entire body ahead. Since his legs were planted, his body started to fold right over. Seeing his completely open abdomen, she pulled her body around to slice open his stomach with ease.

The slash left his stomach bleeding quite a lot and it only sparked off his rage even more.

Lois launched his elbow towards Aria's head but she swiftly lifted her spear as first line defence. His elbow drove into her spear and snapped it, but she readily mended it with her earth manipulation.

*WHACK*

She had looked down for just half a second to focus more on the manipulation of the earth, but this gave Lois the perfect chance to strike. His fist crashed directly into her face and forced her entire body around, dropping her to her hands. Blood dripped from her sliced lips but her excessive adrenaline made this occurrence irrelevant to her.

A brief gaze at his body gave her the initiative to lift her own and swipe her spear upwards. Sand blasted out from this swift motion but she also slashed upwards, across his torso. With her slightly trembling spear, she held it right towards Lois with her knees slightly bent.

Seeing him approach her, she lifted the spear and decided to strike down with all of her force. She made a slight grunt as the spear came crashing down. Lois wasn't fazed by the attack and at all and since the side of the spear wasn't all that sharp, he was easily able to catch it with his bare hand.

Seeing him catch it, Aria made a smirk as if she had predicted this move. She pulled down as hard as she could, trying to slash the man's hand. However, nothing happened.

Nothing at all.

His grip was as tight as two rocks slamming together on the spear, and he was almost a statue as any movement caused not even a little shake from him.

*fwoosh*

He swerved his right foot forward and his eyes glowed an even brighter red as he ripped the spear from Aria's hands.

"How is he this strong? What sort of ability does Lois have?! I should've researched about his Warlok dynasty since they are at C-Rank." She claimed, preparing for the next attack that came with a defensive stance.

She hadn't seen him use a weapon, frankly ever, and this made him unpredictable. She wasn't even sure that he'd use the spear and this lack of knowledge bothered her significantly.

Lois, looking down at this spear, just held it at both ends and forced it downwards. While he did this, he also lifted his knee to snap the spear in two, which also sent small fragments of sandstone flying away from him.

With the 2 ends of the spear in his palms, all he needed to do was squeeze to entirely shatter these pieces of the spear.

*KRR*

*ACK*

The spear was reduced to mere fragments and the pieces of sand, sandstone and earth just fell from his hands and onto the arena. As this happened, he locked his gaze onto Aria and smiled before unleashing his true power.

"Let me show you a technique trained by my dynasty for 500 years! This is ARES!!"

His fists clenched tighter than before and he made a slightly crouched position, aiming his vision at the ground. As he did this, a flowing red energy condensed and almost formed a flame that coated his fists and forearms.

His muscles grew even larger and he began to resemble some animalistic beast now. Veins were present across his forehead and fists.

In a split-second, he was off.

*ZOOM*

Aria was more than taken aback by his speed but she was able to match him at full throttle. As he came, she backed away and also swerved to the side while keeping a clear image of him in her swaying vision.

Becoming quite irritated with this constant retreat, he ran beside her shattered spear and snatched one of the rocks that laid beside him.

"Stop running away!!" He shouted ferociously, chucking the rock ahead.

It was briefly engulfed in the red energy of his arms and it seemed to invigorate the object. Its velocity steadily increased as it approached Aria, making it harder for her to deal with this incoming object. In the time that was provided, all that she could do was lift her forearm to tank the attack head-on. Her earth manipulation was simply too slow and she was too slow to evade.
