The Rebirth System!

In the city of Primos, power is everything. In a world of humans with magical ‘abilities’, the strong survive and thrive, while the frail are left to suffer. Either you are born with a strong ability and you’re given the world. Or you are born a regular human, and you are given nothing. You have nothing. You are nothing. Brandyn Santiago, a regular-born citizen of Primos, is forced to endure the demoralising life in Primos and unsurprisingly, he isn’t able to keep his life through the brutal torture from the demonic beasts of the higher social classes. However, he is given another chance. He is reborn with an ability and, now, he has the chance to finally enact his revenge on those who caused him so much torment and anguish!

Fist of the Earth

There was a minor fracture of her arm bone from this rock but the pain was much higher than what she expected. Feeling this pain, the thought of getting hit in this area again was too much to bear so she manipulated the sandstone below to form an almost shield for this part of her arm.

"YOU'RE DEAD!!" Lois shouted, charging at her with a scream.

His glowing arms left a beautiful red trail of energy behind him as he traversed the arena. His eyes did not move, did not look off his target. Seeing her turn and run, his body adjusted accordingly to follow right after her. Since she was just stationary, he was simply too fast for her.

*BAM*

One overhead right was all that was needed to drop her to the canvas. His fist was almost the size of her head so the power of this attack was almost a given since he was this size. Aria's vision blurred and moved as she laid still. Her head was throbbing in pain and she could barely rest her weight on her shaking arms.

"W-what's going on? Why do I feel so we-,"

*BOOM*

Lois explosively swung up his foot to kick her in the stomach, which lifted her body off the ground entirely.

*thud*

Her back crashed into the floor of the arena but before she could get back up, Lois latched onto her for some good old ground and pound. He slammed his fists down viciously, causing her head to repeatedly slam against the sandstone beneath. Each slam of her head made her feel more and more weak.

Lois showed no remorse as he let out his bubbling rage onto her. Seeing that she stopped moving, it took a few seconds before he lifted off her as he thought that he had won the match. However, with the last of her strength, she was able to lift herself off the ground.

Her legs trembled under just her own weight, while her body felt as if an anvil had been dropped on it. There were several fractures in her body, reaching from the top of her skull to her hips. However, she was unwilling to give in.

"You're dead now!!" Lois shouted, chuckling as he charged directly for his target.

"I can't lose in the Round 64! I know I have more power than this! What did Papa always used to say!"

*5 years earlier*

"Our family, the Tungston dynasty, have been advancing our earth manipulation for centuries and we have formed a new technique. We have named it 'The fist of Earth'. Earth grows inside of the arm and fortifies it, while also growing a thin but dense layer of earth across the arm. It grandly multiples one's punching ability and makes us basically unstoppable! Once you're old enough, you'll be able to do it just like me!"

———

"How did he do it again? Earth in and around the arm. I need a dense layer and I need it quick. It's my only chance!" Aria thought in distress, beginning her manipulation.

*WACK*

Lois had hit her square in the chest, launching her body into the wall of the arena behind her. There was a wooden, ringed wall that separated the stands from the arena and it even cracked from this attack.

As he continued to charge towards her, he drove his elbow forward as if it was some sort of drill, hitting into the arena wall instead.

*fwoosh*

Sandstone and earth continued to lift off the ground as she manipulated and condensed it, slotting it beneath her skin. Somehow, she didn't feel any sort of pain with this and she simply placed the earth in areas she deemed was safe. Her father stated that this was the easy part and this was something she had noticed.

*BAM*

*WHAM*

Lois threw 2 haymakers into her stomach and, even though she was a girl, he showed absolutely no remorse. He didn't even shy away from throwing his third punch. This time, he aimed at Aria's head, and the flame-like energy around his fist exploded as his fist came close to her head.

*thump*

Her arm was fortified with a sleek, earthy colour layer and the force from the punch was barely felt by Aria. Her arms also looked more muscular, even below the thick layer of stone.

"Wow. I feel so much stronger. So much better!" Aria said, as she held his fist in her grasp tightly.

Lois struggled restlessly, to try and be released from her grasp. However, his body flailed around while his fist stayed stuck in place.

"How has she gotten this strong?! I can't even loosen my fist!" He realised, even using his other arm to try and rip his fist out from her palm.

As he flailed his body around, Aria jerked her body back then swung out her fist, to drive it into his chest. His heart almost skipped a beat from this hit and he felt a heavy weight in his entire chest cavity.

Ba-dum.

Ba-dum.

He felt his heart pounding inside his chest and his lungs felt as if they were collapsing in on themselves. Some of the crowd was definitely astounded by this attack, since she was so much smaller but managed to cause so much damage to the teen.

"She's that strong?! How is she able to make him wheeze like that?" Brandyn wondered, hearing his wheeze through the several voices erupting from this attack.

As he stepped away, his focus had completely shifted off the fight at hand. He even had both of his hands wrapped in his clothing, attempting to ease the throbbing pain in his chest. Aria, seeing this opportunity, decided to capitalise on this.

Like a slow bruiser, she approached Lois and punched him right in the face, knocking him away. This attack cracked his jaw bone and snapped his head away, making him take 2 defensive steps back. Even with this strategy, Aria stayed persistent and chased after him like a cat chasing down its mice.

Lois saw her coming towards him and threw a swing, trying to land a defensive hook as he retreated. However, Aria swerved right under the attack while keeping eye contact with her target.

With her mouse.

Lois instinctively pulled his arm back from the piercing death stare, but his movements were too slow. Aria swung her own arm over this outreached arm and aimed for his head.
