Trying hard

Ariana kept seeing the same vision over and over again each time she closed her eyes, she was scared of even sleeping. 

She kept wondering if she had once lost her memory and was trying to regain them because of the familiar environment but she doesn't belong here, why is she having the memory of this place.

She screamed when she saw how bloody the throne was, what is happening to her and how can she fix all these puzzles

"Ariana are you alright?"

"Yes"

"Same nightmare?"

"yes"

"I think you should ask Tyler or perhaps those fairies" suggested 

"Fairies?"

"Yes, Leah said she could summon them, perhaps they might tell you why you are having such dreams"

"But please kel, don't tell Leah about my nightmare,  am afraid her husband might kept running here if he finds out"

"You think so?"

"Yes, it's uncomfortable "

Kellen knew Leah might have her reason of not telling Ariana she had something to do with this world but then Ariana couldn't sleep peacefully, the poor girl has been in so much pain each night she close her eyes, she decide to help Ariana with the little information she knows.

"Leah said something  about you being related to this world"

"Could that be the reason for those nightmares"

"She risk her life and mine trying to save you, you must be someone special"

"But they don't want to say anything"

"Try to figure it out before we leave"

That night ariana stayed awake all night, she kept trying to fix every puzzle yet she couldn't get  the right answer, the vision might be blurry but the blood looks clearer and the sound of swords clashing against another, the horses and men voices and the song of war, she could hear it clearly and the voice that kept saying they are going to die 

She could still hear the voice it was speaking faster this time and each time it kept telling her to run

"Princess run" she heard it clearly and bold

Who is the princess? And why are they telling her to run her life ?

There is no way she could be a princess, perhaps she is the one protecting the princess? But that voice doesn't belong to her.

No, what if she is an assassin and those blood belonged to the people she murdered

Could she be the one that kill everyone? But there is no way she could kill so many people

Damn it she is so doomed

I wish troy is here, he would have figure out what is happening to me. I need to go back home to troy, he is the only family I have but what is all these feelings am having here lately.

Why does it feel like home? Why on earth is my heart aching whenever I heard that voice. Could this be the work of the devil manipulating me? Is that man in love with me? Its never going to happen, it's obvious he love his wife but yet he is still flirting with me.

Could it be that he doesn't want me to leave his world?

I must find the truth, it doesn't matter how long it takes me but am sure I did find out why am having those vision, I tried to sleep but the vision kept appearing over and over again, this time I could see the throne, there were decorated with gold and there was this symbol of a star and a Lion around the majestic throne, the vision was no longer blurry

There was this man, he was sitting on the throne beside him was his wife. The woman was so familiar, I wish I could be in her embrace and the way she smile made me feel comfort and longing, I wish to be held by her even if it was just for a minute 

It was already morning when I woke up, no matter how much I try to fix every puzzle, I still couldn't get it right. But when I remembered the man and woman I saw in that vision, I began to cry. Deep down in my heart I wish I could be in their embrace, i wish i could see them.

Why am I crying?

Why is my heart aching? Why does it hurt this much?

Why am i longing for their embrace?

Who are they? 

All these questions makes my head spin, I was feeling dizzy when I saw a vision, I wasn't sleeping this time but I could see a maid smiling bright, she was leading a princess to the throne. I couldn't see the princess face but her back view look very similar to mine.

I snapped out of the trance when Nick called me, he was talking about going back to our world but my mind was elsewhere. I ran towards the direction that I saw in the vision, I gasped in fear when I appear before the throne I saw in my vision. That majestic throne is actually real?

This is not a dream

I have something to do with this world!

Who am I?

What is my purpose here?

Kellen was right. I need those fairies to help me find the truth

Why do I keep crying 

I moved towards the throne, i was about to touch it when i heard his voice, i could tell who it was. I was trembling in fear because i just crossed the line. I quickly wipe my tears away so he wouldn't noticed. What am I going to tell him if he asked me how I got here, this place is sealed and hidden.

"What are you doing here?" Nonchalantly 

"Uh....I...I.. got lost"  hurriedly ran away

"Father!, I will save your soul so you can seat on your throne. I miss you father and I don't even know how much time has pass by, I don't want her to remember the past, she can't bear that pain, why is everything getting so complicated"

He couldn't bear to see leah, he kept casting the sleeping spell on her, he knew she would be mad at him once she wake up, he felt guilty.  He didn't know what got over him and he's afraid he might hurt her again 

He wish he could just be the normal Tyler. The prince of Airangon, he doesn't want this immortality, he wants to grow old with his wife and not hurting her with his claw. He can't imagine the pain she has been through because of him.

This is a curse not blessing!

He also want to live a normal life like every other person.

Nick bumped into Ariana when she is running, they both fell down and he ended up holding her waist,  she quickly got up and apologized. She kept looking back, it was obvious she is scared or is being chased

"Where did you run off to?"

"Uh ...that.."

He knew she is running away from someone, he doesn't want to bother her with more question

"Why don't we go and have breakfast, then we can talk" suggested

"Yea, sure"

There was a change in the atmosphere when they were having their breakfast, it was filled with cold and longing and sadness. Ariana didn't agree with Nick's idea of returning, she felt like she is missing a big part of her and will find it here, but leaving here right now would only add more pain to her.

She knew she is already close to the truth.

"I don't want to leave now, there is something I have to do, after all you brought me here against my will, this time am leaving at my own will"

"Same goes to me" kellen added 

He bow his head and apologized to them including his mother who was so ashamed of even looking at them, she was the reason for all these, she felt guilty that the man she did all this for have abandoned her. 

"I will leave with my mom" he said while holding her hands tightly 

"Wouldn't it be better if you make peace with your husband before leaving?" Kellen suggest 

"Dont you dare kellen" warned sternly

"What? Don't you think she deserves an explanation, atleast pour out your feelings before leaving, you can't keep bottling everything in"

Kellen is right but I couldn't, because I don't want to hurt Nick's feelings, he loathe his father for abandoning us. Demanding for an explanation will only add to the pain we were both feeling, it's better this way.

"No kellen, am fine" sophie said calmly 

"Ms Smith!"

"Come here" he roughly grab her hand and drag her away 

"Now what?"

"How can you say something like that to my mother?" Angrily 

"Am only advising her, so she won't end up regretting, not after all the sacrifices"

"She won't be meeting him, I won't allow it"

"Because you are just like him"

"What did you just say?"

"You are just like your father, you are no different Nick, stop acting like a saint and let the elders deal with their shit"

"How dare you kel"

"You know am right, watch me soar high" walk away

Kellen is right no matter what he thinks of, he is just like his father, he hate himself for being so greedy and mean. Then who did his father love?

If it was his mother, he would have return back to her

Then it has to be the woman who bore him children. He stare at kellen back as she walk head high, he couldn't love her but she has hit him this time at the right spot, with the reality that he has his father's gene in him.

He shouldn't have let himself get away by her, probably leah wouldn't have been here and maybe he would have propose to her.  He let out a painful groan when he remembered the ring he bought with her name engrave on it, he risk his all just for that ring and yet he messed up.

I hate myself for being like my father

"Is everything alright Nick?"

"Yes mom"

"Ariana can I ask a question?"

"What is it?"

"The crystal ball glitters when you held it and that's why we were able to come here, how were you able to do that?" Curiously 

When sophie asked me this question, I was restless, am sure of one thing, the fact that I had something to do with this world but I have no idea why the crystal ball glitters when I held it. I didn't realise I was even sweating until I felt it on my hands, i turn and noticed  their eyes onme, I smiled awkwardly.

"Maybe it chose me" she answered nervously 

"By the way nick, where is kellen?"

"Uh"

They saw leah coming towards them, she wasn't looking well as she approached them, she was still wearing her night gown and her hair disheveled. Her eyes were way too dull and lifeless, Nick ran towards her and held her arms in fear that she might collapse at anytime
