Slipping away

"Leah?" He said with his voice filled with worries

"Nick, have you seen my husband?" Weakly

"No"

"I know where he is" Ariana said as she stood up

"Leah, you look sick"

"Am fine Nick" pull away, she held his shoulder and smiled at him "Thank you" added

Leah was wondering where Ariana was taking her to

"Where are you taking me to? How did you know this place?"

"I saw him going through this direction" lied

"Oh"

"Leah, ain't you jealous seeing your husband showing me some affection " asked curiously 

"Why should I be? When I know that am the only woman in his heart"

"Stop being dense" roll her eyes

"Am not"

Leah was staring at the place Ariana bought her in awe, she have never been here and her husband never told her about this throne. He was standing there looking so divine, his looks were filled with pain as he focused his gaze on the throne.

Ariana was staring at him and then to the throne, it was a familiar scenario to her, she cling to leah when she notice Tyler's gaze on them. 

Those tears! 

Why is he crying?

I wasn't expecting someone like him to have such emotions, he has everything in the world, there are many men who would fight just to be him. He suddenly went pale when he saw his wife looking so sick, his reaction at that moment made me realise one thing and why leah is so sure about her husband

It's written all over his face, there was so much emotions on his face, my heart ache for these two, that means whatever feelings he had for me is not the same as what he had with his wife.

Turning back to look at leah, I realise they were both staring at me, he was staring at me with so much regret, i couldn't understand why but i hurried out, i don't want him asking me questions am not ready to answer

"Wi....fe" 

"How dare you?" Angrily

I wish I could slap him but I couldn't disrespect him because my conscience won't let me even if I wanted to, not in the presence of his sister. I couldn't even dare it even if I wanted to....I love him, it's just too much that i can't breathe 

" How could you do that to me?" Trembling in anger when Ariana left

"Am s...." moving towards her

"Stop right there, let me come to you" crying

She pull him close to her and embrace him, he kept crying as she pat his back, he held her tight as if his life depend on her. He wasn't expecting her to be this affectionate after everything he did, why on earth is leah this kind, am a devil she ought to be running from but instead she embrace me in her arms, it felt warm, so warm that I don't want to let go.

"Don't cry my love, it's never your fault, don't hate yourself please"

"Why did you love me this much wife, even when am so mean to you, how could you still love a devil like me, I don't deserve you wife" trembling in fear

He could feel the darkness hovering around them but he buried his face in her hair, he held her tighter, she pat his back; she pressed her mouth on his chest, she could feel his heart race. 

She wish she could take away the pain he is going through, she could feel the sudden change in the atmosphere; it was similar to the one last night, her grip tightened around him.

She have to stop him before give in to the darkness surrounding him....she don't care about anything, she just want her husband back to his usual self

"I gave up my world for you so how can I ever give up on you my love, stop avoiding me, don't ever cast a spell on me" 

Please Tyler you need to snap out of whatever that's controlling you

She prayed

"Am sorry"

She sighed in relieved when he responded

"Where is this place?" Pull away

"The throne of my father"

I could understand why he is crying, he could no longer bear the pain, he miss his family, she wish there is a way they could bring them back but there isn't. He can't be living in such pain forever, she can't stand it. There must be a way to find his parent, there might be reincarnated just like Ariana

"I never knew such place exist until Ariana bought me here"

"That's because, it's hidden from everyone, am the only one who knows this place"

"Why did you hide it?"

"Wife, I can't sit on that throne it reminds me of the past, my father was a great king to his people and a wonderful father to his children. Am not worthy of that throne  wife"

"What if they have reincarnated? We just have to find them"

"Wife....."

Telling her about hades and the deal he made might bother her, he has seen their souls and there is only one way to bring them back, sending the one with the mark of hades to the underworld.

Could it be one of those demons?

"Baby, why are you spacing out? What's wrong?"

I can't bother her, I will tell her once I find the one with the mark

"Wife, I think she is recovering her memories"

"Ariana clearly remembered this place wife, i saw her here"

"I thought she said she followed you here"

He was staring at her with a questioning look, she stare back, wondering what might be the reason for the sudden change of attitude

"Di..." staring at her cleavage

"What?"

"Why are you dress like this wife, you can tempt any man looking this way"

"Are you jealous?"

"Dear wife" calmly as he held her shoulders 

"Dear husband am listening"

"Am not joking when I said that if I don't have you, no man will. You are mine and mine alone" smiling

She encircle her arms around his waist, looking up at him, she knew he is her life, she can't live without him

It has to be him

She pressed her mouth against his, holding him tightly against her, he smiled between their kiss, slightly pulling away from her, he peck her on her chin.

"You look better now wife"

He carried her in his arms and walk pass their guest, she hide her face with her hair in embarrassment, she wasn't expecting him to pass where everyone would see them, she thought he would vanish or something.

"Why did you do that?"

"I could smell Nick scent on you"

"What?"

"I wish I could burn those hands but I couldn't because of you " twitch his nose

He vanish immediately  we got to our chamber, he said he could sense a demon around the border;  I was all alone, I heard a deep and husky voice, it send down chill down to my spine. I was trembling in fear, I couldn't move my legs and body even when I wanted to

" Who... a..re y..ou? Reveal yourself" trembling

She heard the voice laughing loudly, the pain on her neck returns in double fold, she fell down in pain, it was as if she got shot by an arrow, she wanted to call her husband or even flora but the voice in her head is controlling her senses.
