Chapter 22 – Sarah E. Jalal (Part 2)

Name: Sarah Ebdi Jalal.

"Sarah?" he murmured "…At such young age."

'What would she want…' He was astonished '…her desire… that made the Door of Opportunity to open for her.'

Sarah was the youngest child of king Ebdi Jalal and no child, younger than 500 years, was ever chosen in history; Zeus was about to reach that milestone.

"Whatever." He just shook it off.

He started reading the profile again.

"Date of Birth: 1B, 0M, 0Mi, 1 January, 070. " He further read.

'Seventy? She turns Seventy…' Astonished, He took a closer look at date.

"It's her birthday today." He exclaimed in surprise.

'What a nice birthday gift she is going to get on her birthday.' He collapsed in his chair.

After some time… A pleasant bell-like sound, like the tintinnabulation of wind chimes blowing in the breeze, echoed in the hall.

Baba sat up, placed his hand on a blue circle in front of screen; the circle rose and took form of a hemisphere. Baba then closed his eyes and called

"Answer me… Guardian of the King's Door!"

"Yes! Guardian of Moon!" A voice same as his echoed in the room.

"I have received orders to guide someone to the Path. Allow me to enter the planet."

"Who is it?"

"Hundredth child of King Ebdi Jalal; Sarah E. Jalal, 70 years young and resides the Golden Palace."

"Permission granted…"

"Thank you" Baba exhaled and opened his eyes.

'Thank god…' he took his hand of the hemisphere and it retracted back in it's earlier position '…she lives in Golden Palace. It would have taken a lot longer to get permission, If she lived in the 'Dragon's Lair'." He thought.

Sound of tintinnabulum echoed in the hall, again.

He got up and approached the Door of Opportunity.

"Wake up…" He roared "…Red Guardian Dragons."

As soon as he finished, the Red Dragon carvings, with the sound of swish, moved towards each other and then at the center above door head, started moving up spiraling around each other. As the dragons moved, door started opening from center.

Upon reaching near the roof, the dragons parted ways, and moved in the opposite directions. They travelled on walls until they reached at center top of the screen, facing each other; now the door was fully opened.

Baba stepped outside and It took him only one step to enter princess Sarah's room that he saw on Screen.

As soon as he crossed Barrier of the Floating Moon, his appearance changed; he was now wearing a green clock and his unkempt beard and hair were now tidy and properly combed.

He reached inside a pocket of his robe and took out a scroll.

"It sure is convenient" He thought.

He entered from behind the bed, reached near the crown, opened the scroll, and started reading from it like an announcement.

"Sarah Ebdi!"

"100th child of King Ebdi Jalal and first child of Queen Shizen Sha Jalal!"

"You have been chosen as the Aghghghghghghghhhhhhh" Baba screamed and suddenly flew into the wall behind bed.

He fell on floor and writhed in excruciating pain radiating from his stomach. He was oblivious to what had just happened. It took him a few minutes to catch his breath and regain his senses. He sat up and looked around, blankly. His hands were still on his stomach and his face was contorted in a grimace of pain.

"P- Princess Sarah?" He stuttered; it took him a while to notice her standing in front of him and mystery of his miserable condition was solved.

"Who are you?" Sarah inquired in her intimidating girlish voice "…How did you enter my room?" She was wearing silk sleeveless sleeping gown "…Who sent you?" She came closer and leaned in a little.

Her expressions, tone, and body language; everything was frightening for him.

"I-I-I-I----I--I-I" Baba stuttered. He was flabbergasted at this whole situation.

Before he could compose and explain himself to her, like a bolt of lightning she struck him.

"Aahhhh…." He screamed pre-emptively and covered his head with his arms.

But this time she could not make a connection because of a red spherical shield that appeared out of thin air and covered him.

When he did not feel anything, he peeped out from crack of his eyes; she was standing a few feet away right in front of him.

Hesitatingly, he opened his eyes fully and slowly removed his arms.

"Tell me…" She ordered as she glared at him with flaming eyes, flaring nostrils, and burning red face.

Baba sat dumbfounded; he had forgotten everything about him being an angel or immortal. All he remembered was pain that he had just experienced.

"Still not telling me?" She yelled as she frowned in anger and attacked him again.

Punch after punch and kick after kick, she incessantly attacked him. Baba just stared at her coming onto him with fear.

'Thank goodness…' He gasped '…the Divine Protection Shield is stronger than her. Otherwise…' he shuddered with fear.

After a few moments, his fear wore off and he started analyzing the situation.

'Did she really attack me and…' he was staring at her charging him like a mindless bull '…successfully hit me?' He was astonished. '…How could she hit me? No one. Not even king himself can hit me…" He forgot bout angry princess outside his shield as he pondered hard '…But she did. HOW?'

'This is the first.' he was surprised.

"Ugh." As he looked up, he got startled by princess who just tried to kick him in the face; he backed off instinctively and hit his head in the wall. He got irritated.

'Does she ever give up?' It has been more than half hour since princess Sarah started attacking and she was still at it.

'Who could believe that this tender looking gorgeous girl with melodious voice could turn into a ferocious monster like this.' The more he looked at her, the more confounding she felt.
