Chapter 23 – Sarah E. Jalal (Part 3)

He waited for a few more minutes for her to get tired of uselessly attacking him and give up but unsurprisingly, she just went on.

With a sigh, he got up, whisked his robe off and stood elegantly in front of her under the Divine Protection Shield.

'She must be 5 feet 6.' He couldn't help noticing even in this situation.

She was still practicing martial arts on him, more precisely, on his shield.

"We should talk." Baba extended his arm and signaled her to stop.

She mechanically stopped attacking; She was out of breath and looked heavenly in her pink gown.

She was biting her lower lip with the tinge of helplessness while staring at him with blazing eyes.

"Should we talk?" He smiled victoriously to tease her.

"Who are you?" She was annoyed "…What is this shield?" She was looking straight in his eyes.

"Incredible…" Baba exclaimed with excitement "…You sure deserve the title of a princess; Only a princess can have such tenacity and power." He genuinely praised her.

"Come straight to the point, you old geezer." She was still annoyed.

"Looking straight into my eyes and upstanding my overwhelming aura are not easy feats to pull off." He completely ignored her anger.

"Stupid Poplar…" She did not like his attitude "…how dare you ignore my questions. I will kill…"

"Guardian of Moon…" Baba quickly interrupted. He did not want to waste any more time on her; it had already been too late "…I am guardian of Moon…" He announced and Sarah who was ready to attack again got still in her position "…I am here to guide you to the Path through the Door of Opportunity." He took a sigh of relief.

She stood silent; it seemed like she was in shock.

"Congratulations princess…" Baba smiled at her surprise "…Would you like to take the Path?"

"You are…" She was still in shock "…WHAT?

"I am Guardian of Moon."

"Don't you dare lie to me or else…"

"I am not lying princess…" He interrupted "…I…am…Guardian of Moon."

She looked at him for a few moments with disbelief.

"But…" She was confused "…I am too young. Even prince Zeus has not been chosen and he is much older and powerful than I am."

"Your Wish or Desire must be stronger than his." Baba smiled.

"What desire?"

"I don't know…" Baba was bored by her naivety "…How would I know? It's your Desire so you must know."

She was still looking at him with doubt and disbelief in her eyes.

"So…" Baba brought her out of her wonderland "…Do you want to take the Path or would you like to carve one for yourself."

She was biting her lower lip as she pondered about his offer.

"Can I leave the path at my will?"

"Path is merely a metaphor used for a training institute that this Door of Opportunity would lead you to."

"I don't need any training." Princess frowned.

'What a stubborn girl.' Baba was annoyed.

"Are you sure princess? Because I am pretty sure, you can't control and use 'Rooh'."

"How do you…" She realized that she was going for a stupid question.

She pondered over it some more; Baba observed her all that time.

"Okay…" She seemed resolute "I will go."

'It's not like I have better things to do here.' She murmured.

"Yes…" Baba feigned ignorance even though he heard her clean and clear "…did you say something to me?"

"No… Nothing."

Baba nodded.

"So…" Sarah looked at him "…How do I take the path?"

"Nothing much…" Baba snapped his fingers and a door appeared from where Baba had come "…You just need to enter this door."

She was still hesitant; she could hardly believe this talking bamboo.

Baba noticed her hesitation; He bowed a little and with his arms, signaled her to enter the door.

Sarah sighed heavily and approached the door.

"If this is some sort of a joke…" She halted right in front of the door and looked back at him "…I will hunt you down, no matter where you are and make you into two, six feet each." She threatened him and entered the door.

Baba sighed with relief and entered the door.

'What could her desire be?' He wondered.

After she left, baba picked up the scroll he dropped and entered the door. The door led him back to Communications room. As he passed through the door, scroll and his robe vanished and the door of opportunity started closing.

The dragons moved up spiraling around each other above the screen and upon reaching near the roof, the dragons parted ways, and moved in the opposite directions. They travelled on walls until they reached at center top of the door, facing each other, where they started; now the door was fully closed, and the screen was dead again.

'What a brat.' Baba murmured.

"She is polar opposite of Sai."

He looked at the wall clock. It was 1:00 AM in the morning. He wondered if Sai was still awake; Sai would practice controlling and cultivating Rooh all night.

He had told him multiple times that Moon was a magical place and many rules of the real world do not apply, so idea of cultivation or controlling Rooh were moot here but he wouldn't listen.

'It is the best time because you are Asleep.' Baba chuckled reminiscing about him.

'They may not be completely opposite. Both are stubborn and strong-willed' Baba sighed.

He approached his room and suddenly he got an idea and a mischievous smile spread on his face.

"I am a disturbance?" He murmured and snapped his fingers and a vehicle horn appeared; he grabbed it "…I will teach you what real disturbance is…" he approached his room lightly "…You imbecile nincompoop."

He grabbed the doorknob and tried to calm his racing heart down a bit. Then he pushed open the door, jumped in and squeezed the rubber bulb.

"Hoooooooonnnnnnnnkkkkkkkkkk." Annoying high pitch sound echoed in the room.
