Chapter 21 – Sarah E. Jalal

"But now I am sure that you are not my replacement, because in the past two years whenever the door of opportunity opened, you were locked out. Floating Moon made sure to keep it a secret from you. If you were my replacement, this is the first thing you would have learned."

Sai just nodded.

"Baba!" Sai was lost in his thoughts

"Hm."

"I was wondering…" Sai raised his head "…How is a new warrior selected by the Moon?"

"Why do you ask?" Baba changed side in his chair "Wanna get selected?" Baba looked at him meaning fully.

"No. That's not it…" Sai still seemed a bit lost "…it's just that you might be the only person who could answer this question accurately if you are allowed to, of course."

"Sorry lad…" Baba looked at him apologetically "…This is a divine secret; even I don't know about it."

"Oh…" Sai exclaimed with disappointment.

"But…" Baba smiled at him …I have a theory."

"What?" Sai looked at him inquisitively.

"Initially, when the world was created, a very few people were chosen, and they were all very powerful. I thought that the Floating Moon selects people based on their power. But…" Baba paused to arrange his thoughts "…as the population grew, and more people were chosen I realized that all of them were not powerful."

"Some of them were too weak to stand a chance and died right after starting their journey. I was surprised at first, then I started paying more attention and learned more about the chosen ones. My centuries long research led me to a conclusion that all the chosen warriors had one property or characteristic in common i.e. 'Resolve' or 'Desire'."

"They could be weak, smart, stupid, strong, cunning, evil, good, fat anything but they all had extremely strong Desire or Resolve for something."

"By the way…" Baba turned his side again "…I can see the same Desire in you. I believe that the Moon will open door of opportunity for you some day and then you can start your own journey." Baba smiled.

50 Years Later

It was 11:55 in the morning. Baba and Sai were fast asleep in their rooms. Suddenly voice of loud siren echoed.

Beep… Beep… Beep…

Baba sprung out of his bed; it seemed like he was awake all the time. He quickly approached the door.

"Ugh…" He glanced at wall clock "…At midnight?" He was surprised

'Who could this be?' he thought as he entered Communication Hall and went straight to screen. The screen had come to life and was displaying a dark path as if he were in a Car and it was running on a dark highway.

"Sai must be asleep" He glanced at Sai's room.

"Who is the warrior?" He commanded.

On screen view switched from a dark highway to a celestial view of whole universe; A HUGE ball of fire i.e. "Sun" surrounded by its ten thousand planets. Each planet had a name tag on it. Then it zoomed in on One planet tagged 'The king's door'.

"Ohhh" He gasped with surprise.

'That's why…' He thought.

'The King's door' or as it was commonly known 'The Dragon's Den' was where the King 'Ebdi Jalal', his wives and young children lived. This planet was numbered as the first and the second planet by Planning and Administrative section of the League of Intellectuals.

'So…' He was staring at the screen eagerly 'Who could it be, this time…"

'Prince Zues E. Jalal or Princess Sarah E. Jalal.' For no reason he started feeling nervous.

He knew this would happen sooner or later; he was more inclined towards selection of Prince Zues E. Jalal because not only, he was older than princess Sarah but also possessed monstrous power and strength.

People who had met him, compared him in skill and power with 'Kaali E. Jalal' the eldest daughter of King Ebdi, Commander in-chief of Royal Army, Founder of the First Royal family and the only woman ever to earn the rank of a Queen, when she was his age.

It was a rare event, even for him, to guide such a high-level warrior. Last time when he got a chance to guide a prince was 15 million years ago and it was 98th son of King Ebdi Jalal.

Screen further zoomed in on a beautiful castle and finally a room was displayed. A beautiful golden king-sized bed was lying in the center of the room. The bed had four corner posts with white curtains tide to them elegantly. The mosquito net was open to provide protection and a bit of privacy.

A beautiful small fire lamp was hanging on left wall and it was ablaze. A large chandelier was hanging over the bed and it was twinkling in the dim light of lamp, like stars do in dark night. Dim light, exquisite interiors and twinkling chandelier were creating a dreamy and romantic environment in the room.

Red carpet spread across the room and pink off-white drapes hung over the walls.

'How beautiful.' He thought.

Screen further focused on bed and revealed a person covered in the golden embroidered blanket, behind mosquito net.

Screen zoomed in and he could see the face now.

It was Princess Sarah E. Jalal; even though he already expected this by looking at the interiors, but he was still shocked.

She had black hair and fair complexion. She was wearing beautiful ear-pins made of spirit stones-the most precious and rare gemstones.

On left side of screen, profile of princess appeared with her full-size picture while her live view minimized to fit in the right half of screen.

In profile picture, Princess had rose pink eyes - a very specific trait of females that hailed from 'Jalal' Family – as she stood wearing beautiful thigh high Party dress. She looked like a young adult between sixteen to eighteen years old.
