Chapter 20 – Talk-No-Jutsu

2 Years Later

"Yum, yum, yummy…" Baba exclaimed with joy "…Your coffee is the best."

Sai smiled.

They were sitting in Communication hall; Baba was in his lounger while Sai sat in front of him and in the center lied a table on which there was a tray with cookies, a red kettle like pot and two large coffee mugs.

Sai had just served Baba's favorite coffee; in the past two years he had become quite a great cook. Baba made sure that best ingredients were available, and he never disappointed him with his cooking. It was rent in service that Sai was paying to stay there.

He had already learnt to read and write; he would learn new recipes, uses and features of weapons and tools and about culture and traditions of the world from internet.

"Is that…" Baba sat up and looked at coffee container; he was shocked "…Is that Lava Bowl?" He looked at Sai with disbelief.

"N- Ye- No- I mea- What?" Sai was stunned for a few seconds and then feigned ignorance.

Since the time he learnt that he could use any weapon or tool from the Spirit Room, he would search desired weapon or tool on internet, find them in the Spirit Room and if available, bring them out and use them for his cooking and learning.

"I have told you…" Baba gasped "…so many times not to bring anything from Spirit Room..." He took a sip from his coffee "…It is not for you to use." He smacked him on his head.

"It's my fault actually…" He glared at Sai who was rubbing his head "…I shouldn't have taught to use that goddamn internet."

Sai smiled and his smile blew Baba's top.

'I can feel getting older because of him'. He sighed heavily.

"I will put it back…" Sai grabbed a cookie and stuffed it whole in his mouth "…Bont Burry." He could barely talk.

"Don't speak while you are eating." Baba looked at him with disgust.

Sai just nodded and picked another cookie. They finished coffee, Sai cleaned it up, they sat back in the Communication Hall and watched Television.

"Baba!" Sai called without taking his eyes off television.

"Hm." Baba was immersed in the show as well.

"Are you immortal?" Baba glanced at him with surprise and then went back to watching television.

"Why do you ask?"

"I am a bit curious…" Sai burped; Baba's facial expressions worsened "…I read on internet that there are many humans that are immortal"

"So?"

"So…" Sai turned "So, are they angels or were you a human being at any point in time."

"Oh..." Baba turned his gaze away from television. "…None of your theories are true…" Baba started combing his beard "…I have always been an angel blessed with absolute immortality at birth while the people you read about obtained so much power that they became unkillable by their peers, so everyone considers them immortal. In simple words, no one can kill me other than "The One" himself while anyone stronger can kill them."

Sai nodded.

"So…" Sai turned "…you are the most powerful being?" He seemed shocked.

"WHAT?" Baba was surprised at his question "No. In fact, there are thousands of men who could beat me in a jiffy."

"Really?" Sai could not believe his ears "…You are kidding. Right?"

"I wish I were..." Baba took his eyes off television "…but human potential has no boundaries."

"Wow..." Sai was extremely surprised "…and you are an angel."

"Shut up…" Baba could not stand demeaning look in Sai's eyes "…I am like a machine…" He sighed "…designed to do his job perfectly and properly. I was never created to empower anyone."

"Can any of those stupid humans …" Baba snapped his fingers and gold plates appeared on the table "…do this?"

Sai was impressed as he stared at gold.

"Th- Thats how you pay for everything?"

"Of course." His chest inflated with prideful joy.

"Give me some."

"What?" Baba looked at him shocked "What would you do?"

"I will need money when I leave here. Right?"

Baba just nodded s he scratched his hairy chin.

"Pleeeeeeeeeaassssssssssse…" Sai begged.

"Okay. I will think about it."

"Come ON…" Sai exclaimed "…let me have a taste of your greatness too." He had learnt flattery little too early.

Baba smiled brightly and his chest inflated a bit more.

"Okay. Only for you." Baba pretended to give in.

"Promise?" Sai jumped with excitement.

"Promise." Baba said nonchalantly.

"As much as I want?"

"Sure." He looked at Sai from corner of his eyes; his eyes were lit with happiness and excitement. Baba's chest inflated a few inches more.

"Thanks Baba. I love you." Sai jumped and hugged him tightly with excitement.

"Okay. Okay..." Baba was irritated "Now get off." Sai left him and went back in his chair.

"Who is the strongest being in the world?" Sai asked another question.

'He won't let me watch today' Irked, Baba turned television off 'I'll watch repeat telecast tomorrow.'

'He turned off television…?' Sai looked at him in shock.

"Yes…" Baba sighed "…What were you saying?"

"I- I was saying…" Sai gulped; he was nervous "Who is the strongest being in the world?"

"Can't tell you."

"Why not?"

"Because…" Baba sat up "…I am not allowed to impart knowledge"

"But you teach me every day." Sai was confused.

"Not this kind of knowledge. I know almost everything, but I cannot tell you that is forgotten or that was never told; the knowledge that could change the course of this universe or that could reveal its secrets"

"Oh…" Sai pondered for a while "…So., you don't know why I am here, or you just don't want to tell me?"

"I really don't know." Baba shrugged "I was so shocked and surprised to see you appear. At one point I thought that you were sent as my replacement." Baba winked.
