Chapter 15

I stand there ready for Chara to attack me. She looks over at Mrs. Zelen and she nods.

"Come at me bro." Chara says, spinning her knife in her hand. I look over at Mrs. Zelen and she nods at me.

"Go ahead Wolf. Chara go easy on him, since he's new." She said, watching us circle each other.

"Here." I hear Night whisper in my head. I see a spell form in my mind so I cast it.

"Hell Flames!" I shout, as huge hot red flames sprouted from my hands and flew towards Chara. Chara dodged and ran towards me swinging her knife.

"Black flames!" She yelled, as she spun her knife in a circle. Black flames emerged from where ever her feet touched the earth. Slowly the flames met behind her in a huge arc, then they shot towards me. I dodged to the side and retaliated.

"Scissor winds!" I yelled, watching as two wind blades rushed towards Chara. They spun around her a few times before they faded.

"Meteors!" Chara yelled, backing up as two huge fire balls came hurtling towards me. I sigh and lift my hands up towards them.

"Rock Dome!" I say, as a huge earth dome encases me and protects me from the Meteors.

"Stop!" Mrs. Zelen says, laughing. We both halted our attacks, my earth dome falling down, while Chara's Meteors disappear. I look at Mrs. Zelen watching as she starts clapping.

"Why did you stop us?! Things were just getting interesting!! Agh!!!" Chara screams, kicking the ground.

"Because you two are evenly matched surprisingly. Wolf was keeping up with you despite being a freshman and this is his first day in this class." She said, laughing. I look at Chara who's face is as red as a tomato.

"We can continue if she wants." I say, Smiling. Mrs. Zelen stares at me before nodding.

"Alright, continue." She said, backing away. I walk back to where I started, turning around and see Chara doing the same. She turned around towards me, dagger spinning in circles around her finger.

"Ready? 3... 2... 1... GO!" Mrs. Zelen says, backing as far away as she can. I run towards Chara, while she ran towards me.

"Meteor!" Chara yelled once again. Two hugs fire balls appear in the sky, falling down towards me. I put my hands to the ground this time calling my earth element instead of my fire. I was going to go all out with just my earth element and show everyone I can be great using just one of my weak elements.

"Rock Pillars!" I yell, as seven huge rock pillars spring up from the ground. Two of them smash the meteors into small pieces of flames. The other ones curve and shoot towards Chara. She dodges them one right after the other, slowly coming towards me. She sure advances fast. I thought to myself.

"Try using these one right after the other." Night said, as he shoved some spells into my head. One was a spell of earth blades where they would come from the earth underneath Chara, kinda like spikes but a lot more dangerous. The second was a trap, it would melt the ground underneath her as she got closer, trapping her so I could advance. The third was a spell that would encase her in mud to where she couldn't escape. Finally the fourth would make the mud turn into spikes, if I pictured where it would impale her then that's exactly what it would do. I run towards Chara, gathering mana into myself preparing myself for a huge loss of mana.

"Earth blades! Earth trap! Earth prison! Mud spikes!" I yelled, feeling almost all my energy leave me. I picture Chara getting impaled on her arms and legs, the spikes barely into her skin but still enough to draw blood. I watch as Chara goes to dodge the blades in the ground but instead she disappears into the ground, screaming.

"What the fu-" She screams, disappearing. Then after thirty seconds has passed I hear her yelp.

"Enough!" The teacher said, looking at me with shock. I use what remaining power I have to release Chara. She gets spit out of the ground on her stomach. Her arms and legs had small holes in them and blood trickled out. Chara's eyes turn pitch black and she started mumbling something in a language I didn't understand. Suddenly I saw something so shocking that I backed away.

"What was that?" Mrs. Zelen asked, running over to Chara not seeing anything.

"I just used what Night told me to." I say, breathing heavily. I look at Chara watching as a three headed beast helped her stand up. I walked over to her warily, watching the beast in case it tried to attack me.

"You can see Cerberus?" She asks, watching me shock written all over her face. I walk up to her and nod, still looking at the beast. She looks from me to the beast then smiled.

"He likes you." She laughs.

"That's enough for today you two. Go rest." Mrs. Zelen says, smiling kindly. I start to walk away but stop as Chara grabs my arm, dragging me with her.

"Chara, go to the nurse's office!" I hear Mrs. Zelen yell at us. We walk not towards the nurse's office but towards the Headmaster's office.

"Where are we going?" I ask, breathing heavily and trying to collect mana. She turns around and smiles.

"Just wait and see." she says, laughing.
