Chapter 14

I walk into my advanced magic casting class and sit down towards the back of the classroom. Ten minutes passed and other students walk in.

"Who is the new student?" A female student asks, pointing at me. The teacher walks over to the female student and puts her hand on her shoulder.

"The Headmaster sent him to join our class today." she says. I look at my new teacher and am in awe. She was about 5'11'' and had hair down to her knees, her eyes were sapphire blue and her hair was the color of the sky.

"My name is Wolf, thank you for having me." I say, staring at the teacher. I didn't stare for too long cause after I said that the door slammed open and Chara walked in.

"Hello B*tches!" she yelled, stomping over to a desk and sat down. Oh.... Uh Chara is going to classes in our school now??? I asked to no one in particular but Night decided to answer anyway.

"Yes, she came here from another world and crash landed. NightStalker told me what happened. Apparently after Zelen found out she has very powerful magic, he offered her a spot in the school." He explained. Oh, she has magic but she's from another world? I ask.

"Yes, she is from Dragon Tamer which has some magic but not as much as our world does. The dragons there use up most of the magic so the tamers can't use more than half of what the dragon use. They usually just support the dragons. Chara is the complete opposite of the other dragons and their tamers. She uses all of the magic and my brother just supports her." he said. I could feel him smiling. Ohhhhhh. I say to myself surprised. So does that mean that she is the most powerful magic user? I ask.

"Well, she has the most tactical experience but once you live as long as your going to then I'm pretty sure you will be stronger." he said. Oh. Why am I going to be stronger? I ask, confused.

"Well, you have me for one, I have many different experiences and can help you along the way. Like Chara I am reborn many different times so I have knowledge of my last lives." Night says, I could feel energy roll off from him in waves. Why can I feel energy? I am not that good at sensing things. I wonder to myself but of course Night hears me.

"It's probably because we have a familiars bond now so you can feel my mood. The energy I send off from myself is different for each mood." He said. Looking at Chara and then back to the teacher.

"My name is Mrs. Zelen. I am the daughter of the headmaster." Mrs. Zelen said, smiling. She walked to her desk and grabbed a two books and a folder with some papers in it. Walking back to me she hands me them.

"These are for this class. You are new so I will have someone explain what we have done." Mrs. Zelen said, smiling kindly at me. I took the two books first and put them under my desk and then grabbed the folder, setting it onto my desk.

"Thank you Mrs. Zelen, I will try my best." I say. How can I not use my power as much? I ask myself.

"You can send me all your energy and then I can give you only what is necessary." Night said. You can do that for me? I ask, surprised. I could feel a different energy drifting off from him.

"Imagine me being in a huge room and there is a valve connecting the room to you, send all your energy through this valve and to me." He said.

"Alright class, this is going to be our first practice match. I will announce the pairs." Mrs. Zelen said.

She announced the teams, Chara and I were a team.

"We meet again Wolfe." She said, smiling then added, "I hope you go all out for me Wolfe." Her smile turned into a sneer and she walked over to our area. Night.... I don't even know how to cast a single spell. I said, frightened.

"Let me help." He said, suddenly I feel power flowing through me and knowledge I had never known flow into my head. I followed Chara with a grin. Soon the teacher came over to me looking at my stance.

"You are new, yet you know the stance already? Father really found an interesting one." She said, turning to Chara.

"Well, well, look who finally notices me." Chara says, clearly angry for not being noticed sooner.

"And here is someone who has a short fuse." Mrs. Zelen said, laughing. Chara took out a black onyx knife that catches on fire as soon as the light hit it. I who has never done this before just stood there.
