chapter 5

enjoy. sorry guys it took a bit long to make it. i checked grammar error and fixed some but i can't say all. Half of the people began to crawl inside the tents while the other half went to find some wood so that they can light a fire and cook.

Ainz was just standing and thinking that this had to be one of the biggest and easiest dungeons he had gone. while in the game their were some big dungeons they weren't that big, and every dungeon was dangerous even on the first floor not not to say some 30th floor and while he was in the new world he never found or encountered a dungeon. HE then joked to himself that maybe this was a 200th floors dungeon and he could encounter a world enemy at the last floor. that the first few floors were just to grind and level up. he saw that there were a lot of monsters and even finn mention something about the more people enter together the more monsters it produces.

after a while, the thought that this dungeon could have a world enemy was stuck and he couldn't get it out of his head, so he then seriously began to contemplate how he would have nazarick check this dungeons floors. From the 50th floor up and check if there were some hidden passages like they were in Yggdrasil. if there were hidden passages he would be bit more careful exploring them because more often than not, there were some hidden bosses more powerful than the boss of the dungeon.

He was lost in thought, and he didn't even notice that he stood out like a sore thumb.

{maybe I should tell demiurge to collect every type of monsters, and the crystals they drop so that he can research and experiment on them to see what uses they got. hmm~ also it would be of the best option to tell albedo to send some hanzos to the surface and and make a map of the city. ha, but if they somehow got found out and gave out information, that would be troublesome.}

hah~ ainz sighed as he considered that he had little information about what was the outside world. for all he knew their could be someone with a talents like in the new world . there he found some pretty dangerous, useful, and some were even downright cool talents. some of the talents he found useful and cool were, [discern magic item] [true potential] [gaia's grace] [the hand of midas] [ rune master trigger] etc... those were how he named some of the talents.

[discern magic item] - was a talent that the user had and it could detect the hidden power (if they had) of a cash item, that even [all appraisal magic item] could not tell. user had 50% discern what it was.

[ true potential] - it had 80% percent to tell what level of potential one had.

[ gaia's grace] - the user was one of the elf princesses that he found at the first continent (forest continent). she could talk and control nature to a certain extent and this helped her navigate and tell signs of danger when in the forest. when a great calamity was coming she always knew because of this talent. (she likely had a druid class)

[ the hand of midas] - its user was another elf princess who considered it nature's curse. all that her hands touch would get turned to gold and precious stones. while her sister had [ gaia's grace] she believed that it was a curse and punishment nature gave her because of all the wrongdoings her family had made. she just didn't know how to control it until ainz and his crew invaded the land. (it didn't affect people who had middle-tier magic resistance.)

[ rune master trigger] - it was a funny name all considered, because the talent holder was gondo's son, umifrear who is just 8 years old. his talent manifested when he was seven. he was playing with a dagger that ainz gave to gondo as a gift, (the dagger had 4 runes inscribed on it and he told gondo only a true master rune smith could bring out it's full potential) he activate the dagger that even ainz thought, the runes were only for decoration. ainz then began to send him some of the rune weapons as a sort of experiment. out of the 4 weapons he gave 2 weapons were successfully activated. the first one only had 3 runes inscribed on it and the second one had 4 on it, and to activate it he spent 4 months on the first one and the second one was activated with 6 months of fiddling with it. 3rd and 4th had like 5 or 7 runes on it, and he couldn't even activate it, or maybe it just wanted a bit more time.

he was thinking about these talents and the danger it had, when he felt something clinging to him. so he looked down only to see a brown skinned, short and petite girl hugging him by the waist.

"um, if I remember correctly you are tiona, right? could you kindly let go of me." Ainz then recalled another petite short girl that was energetic with him on his first months as momon. she was a very good specimen. she was a girl that changed race without an item specialized in changing races. with information he had gotten from her, he lessened her punishment but then as he was rewarding the guardians, shalltear wanted her, and as entoma hadn't accomplished anything grandiose. he gave evileye to shalltear and when he asked "why she wanted her", she responded that she wanted to have a "special" vampire in her group. although entoma wasn't too happy that evileye got to live, she couldn't say anything because it was ainz that had the final say.

" momon, your way of fighting is amazing. from now on I will call you momon the dark knight, no, that doesn't sound that good. maybe the dark hero will sound better...he, he...ro... hero. yeah! momon the dark hero sounds better. from now on you will be my hero." tiona declared as a matter of fact, yet she still hadn't let go of him

"hey, twerp stop bothering momon. can't you see he was thinking about something." shalltear remarked as she looked displeased that someone was clinging on momon.

"haha shalltear, who are you calling a twerp when you basically look like a kid and you will stay like that the rest of your life." aura responded as she heard shalltear calling tiona a twerp, she wasn't defending tiona. what she wanted was to bother shalltear as she always bothered her.

"shut up, shorty! can't you look at yourself before speaking. just look at yourself and see how short you are ~arinsu."

" hey, why don't you check yourself and see how tall you've grown these years, I am 135cm, how much taller are you."

" err.. er... can't you see I was just telling this girl off, momon was thinking something, when this girl came and bothered him out of his thoughts ~arinsu." shalltear swiftly changed the subject.

"ca... can't you stop squabbling for a moment, you are just troubling momon." mare stated, as he wanted to calm down shalltear and his sister.

" hey, I may be a... little lacking in some areas and I'm not well endowed as you but you can't say I'm shorter than you." tiona then proceeded to stand side by side with shalltear. " see, I may not be a lot taller than you but I still surpass you even if by a little bit.

"haha, shalltear that's what you get for calling people short." then aura proceeded and approached shalltear's ear and whispered. " and although she says that she is not as voluptuous as you, we all know that you almost don't have any. fake tits"

"shut up! aura don't be conceited, you little brat. I... i..."

"okay guys, stop with this foolishness. those guys are already back from picking logwood it seems. shalltear, tell lupusregina to take out the rations we brought and to distribute it." he then turned around and pointed at a spot." okay tiona we will be going there for a while, so, you can return to your group by now."

he began to walk to the spot he pointed before, then proceeded to sit on the ground, below a mushroom shaped tree. behind him was his group following him like obedient dogs. "umu, lets sit here and rest for a while.

lupusregina took out several extravagant looking triple trays that had an equal exquisite and mouth-watering chocolate layered cakes on it, it let out a heavenly aroma but it did not affect them as they were used to smelling and eating delicacies at nazarick. she then began slice it and distribute the cake among them.

ainz was sometimes dejected when he saw and smelled treats that looked delicious, he couldn't taste some and his human side sometimes longed for good looking food. when he leveled up he got a skill that could make him have flesh, but he was scared that as soon as he had flesh he would let out more emotions, so he hadn't transform even once.

what he hadn't realized was, that he was a better leader than before, with years of experience, he alone could manage a kingdom but he was always insecure and he himself hadn't realized he was good at certain things. he was better at planning, strategizing, and his leadership was good. it was just that he always compared himself to albedo and demiurge in their own strong field. some of the plans demiurge had wouldn't go as well as it had gone, if he hadn't known about the things he had.

when he was about to say he had that gotten that skill to albedo and demiurge, he mumbled his thoughts for a moment.

-" I wonder how would it feel with a body made out of flesh"

when he heard a part of his thought slip out. he immediately was about to say he was just joking.

demiurge responded him with a gentle smile and albedo too responded him with a gentle smiled but her eyes contained lust.

- "I will do my best to grant your wishes ainz-sama, so just wait and I will create a body made out of flesh, ought for a supreme being."

demiurge said this with such confidence that even ainz faltered when he heard it.

he soon came back to reality as he realized he was lost in thought for the second time. it was dangerous to be absentminded in an unknown place, he rebuked himself for being careless even if the territory didn't seem dangerous.

He then saw they didn't have anything to drink, so he asked increment for drinks.

" increment is there a {pitcher of endless water} and some cups in the infinite sack you brought? if you have, take it out and distribute it."

"ain-, momon I brought apple juice, so we can have that if you'd like." increment was gonna say ainz-sama, but ainz glared at her so she quickly called him momon and told him about the juice she brought. she had a face that said " I did a good job, so please praise me".

"umu, excellent job increment, now you can distribute it among us. "

"um, uhm." increment nodded as she had a gleeful expression, she then took out some extravagant cups that looked like it was made out of precious ores and was intricately decorated with with golden flower patterns. she then gave a cup to each of them and poured some cold apple juice in the cups.

" sebas what information could you gather while you were in the left wing."

" unfortunately, those guys and that girl didn't talk about anything on the way here." he then bowed his head along with nabe then apologized." we are sorry for our incompetence."

"n.. no, no it's not your fault that they didn't say anything. so don't say you are incompetent, but when we resume the travel be very observant to everything they say. no matter how irrelevant it may sound pick on it and report it later."

Ah, what a pain. we need to get more information without being too suspicious. we could kill them but gods exist here, and assuming they are in a group and the leader is a god he might just find out who it was that killed them, who knows what they are capable of. in the game almost all the gods were level 100. some were easy for a boss and some were difficult, we can't take the risk here by killing them just to be found out and make all the gods our enemy, and if we were to ask about this world or how the power system works we will look suspicious. so all we can do is collect basic information.

"now shalltear and lupusregina, what did you get, tiona seems very talkative so she must have said something of use right?" he looked at shalltear and lupus who had their head down.

"ainz-sama, s-she was only t-talking about how great you looked fighting and how you seemed very heroic, s-so we didn't c-change the topic. ~arinsu "

"Don't call me ainz, I am momon right now. why didn't you change the topic and ask some questions?"

"ain- momon she looked l-like she wouldn't stop talking about you even if we tried changing topics... a-also... ...I- I like it, when even worms can appreciate your greatness. ~arinsu"

shalltear nodded vigorously and stuttered a little when she was talking and then whispered some words at the end.

Haa, ainz wanted to sigh but only did it in his mind.

although, he was disappointed in shalltear and lupusregina he didn't want to cause a scene in front of everyone. so he calmed down and asked the others.

"so zesshi, solution or aura did any of you get to hear something useful?"

"hmm, I heard that wolf boy talk to himself about, how he hadn't expected to come across another one of his species. they were apparently wiped out years ago."

"he talked about that and how even dark elves were rare."

"u-um, riveria kept asking me if i was from the dark elf royalty. " mare then talked about the questions that were asked and how he responded them.

"increment, what did your group gathered?" ainz then turned to the last group to see what information they had.

" we were able to hear some of the humans talk about some god and how beautiful she was. other things they talked about was something to do with a tavern.

"mhhm, we heard them talk about freya, she is suppose to be the most beautiful goddess and is the strongest familia in terms of military might" sixth and the maids gave more information than the others. it maybe that they could gather information because the people that were close to them weren't that experienced.

ainz was lost in thought as he processed the information he received. hence he didn't see that the leaders of the loki familia were heading his way.

"m-momon." solution whispered to ainz

" Hmm, what is i-t" ainz raised his head as solution was calling him. He discerned why she called him, as looking ahead he noticed that Finn, Riveria, Ais, Gareth, lefiya, tiona and tione were coming towards him.

he noticed that the werewolf guy "bete" was not in the group, and then recalled that lupusregina thrashed him to a pulp. so maybe he is a little traumatize with the event to the point of not wanting to meet her again. he only thought that for seconds as he then turned around and invited them to sit down.

He then saw that tione, tione, Ais and lefiya were looking towards the cake with a starry eyed expression, he was a little surprise that gareth, Finn and Riveria were just a little distracted by it. even the queen of the dragon kingdom, Draudillon, lost her composure when she saw and smelled the cake. so it was to say that this three had more self-control than her.

what he didn't consider was that ,draudillon, was so exhausted and stressed from managing her almost destroyed kingdom and the attacks that the demi-humans made. so when something looking very appetizing was placed in front of her, she left all her manners and ate in an inelegant manner.

"increment can you please serve them. "

"right now, momon" increment bowed and then went to find plates so that she can serve them.

"so, I take it that you want to discuss something important, no?" ainz said as he looked at Finn, riveria and gareth.

"yes" finn nodded "just now our group was discussing that something wrong is happening at this dungeon at this moment."

"can you explain yourself a bit, our god told us that there would be a disturbance but as of now we haven't seen or felt something wrong ."

"well you see, in the floor where you found us, it was supposed to be a safe point where monster were not supposed to attack but this time they attacked and each floor we passed felt that they were more monsters than usual." finn explained on how he felt.

"so you are saying that the monsters are not behaving how they always behave.

hmm" ainz said that and he sank into contemplation.

"um, momon how many times have you been here to the dungeon?" Riveria asked

"eh" ainz uttered as he wasn't ready for that question " this is the first time entering, as I told you we are a new familia here and as soon as we got here, our god sent us inside this dungeon." ainz put all the responsibility to his supposed god as he thought that nobody dared to question a god but he didn't know what a hassle it would be in the future.

"eh!"

"ahh"

"haah"

"eeehhh!"

lefiya, Ais, tione and tiona, shouted in surprise.

gareth then directed a question to ainz.

"lad, you didn't even registered at the guild!? your familia will be fined a hefty amount of valis."

valis? so valis is the name of the currency here. hmm looks like I have to be careful with my wording ainz thought as he learned the currency here.

"oh, I think he will resolve it, either way we were in a hurry to get here. does the guild buy ores? if they don't then they will be in trouble." ainz thought that if he sold ores, it would be less suspicious than if he sold magic swords or items.

mhmh, they buy ores. the hephaestus familia also buys ore but you need to have a contract with them.

increment then began to distribute the cake and the juice.

just as lefiya, Ais, tione and tiona were about to take a bite Finn told them to wait.

"Wait, Riveria do a quick chant to check if it doesn't have any poison."

mm, Riveria hummed in acknowledgement and began chanting. "there is no poison"

Finn then turned to ainz

"sorry for doubting you momo-"

he couldn't even fully apologize when multiple auras of hostilities hit him.

"tch, wasting our time with people who can't even be grateful for receiving some of our food."

"don't they know that if we wanted to kill them it would be as simple as snapping my fingers"

"should we just kill them?"

"tch, a lower life form dares to doubt something given by ai-"

"stop it! they did the right thing or are you telling me that you wouldn't be careful around people you just met some days ago? sorry for my companions outburst and hostility directed at you.

shalltear and the maids were mad because they doubted something given by them, but ainz approved of the loki familia as they were very careful and he liked people who were very cautious and attentive to every small detail.

Finn just nodded but had an awkward face.

they began to eat the cake.

tione and tione just cut a piece with the spoon and as soon as the piece touched their mouth the had a sweet smile of ecstasy. they then began to eat it in big bites , it looked very messy. lefiya, Ais and Riveria saw this so they too began to eat the cake by small bites. they rapidly ate but they still ate in an elegant way. they sighed in bliss.

"haha, this juice is great, from where did you get it, lad. if you can get some more for me I will pay you handsomely. although I like ale, this is great too."

" yeah, I didn't think it would be this good." gareth and Finn commented

"when we come out of this dungeon I will give you some of the golden apple juice."

"Mhmh, I will wait for my share then. you already promised me lad so don't disappoint me."

"I wonder what loki would say about this." Finn said as he swirled the juice in his cup

"Ok, we just came you about the irregularities so we have to be careful now. we will leave and go rest for a while so we can be on top condition when we leave this floor."

" ok have good rest."

"thanks for the cake momon-san"

" yeah thanks for sharing it with us momon" tiona called him by his name. ainz was happy that she didn't call him momon the dark hero, as that alias didn't sound very good.

" thanks. it was nice." Ais said with a smile

they all gave thanks and went into their tent.

"nabe come here with me for a while." ainz called nabe to a side and gave her instructions.

moment that nazarick was transported to this world

dungeon, the floors below and above the 50th floor

a huge amount of magic power was let loose, every single being lost consciousness or straight up died from shock as the felt the phenomenal amount of magic power.

the dungeon felt so threatened that it let out monsters without care.

CRACK*

walls had huge cracks and waves of monsters came out of it. they trampled everything on their way, even their own kin were killed. they kept destroying the walls and floor until an irregular {also known as a juggernaut} was spawned and killed everything. even after it was spawned on multiple floors they each got killed on their own floors by the colossal amount of creatures that were spawned. heaps of magic stones laid on the ground but were pulverized by the monsters that stomped on it

it was liked this for a while but then it calmed down as the massive amount of magic was their only for a second. every floor was devastated but it was healing as time went by. the 50th floor where nazarick appeared wasn't affected to the point that not a single bit of magic power was felt here, but monsters still came from the other floors.

the floor where ainz and finn's group are resting wasn't affected because all the monsters that were spawned on the floor below were killed by a juggernaut before they got out of their floors. it then despawned after a certain amount of time.

the floors above were the same as there were a lot of monsters spawned. the worst floor was the 20-18th as a lot of people lost consciousness and they were kill by the monsters that spawned. the 18th floor town was destroyed as it was overridden by monsters and few people were left conscious and they were overwhelmed by the amount of monsters so they ended up fleeing and carrying some of their companions.

on the streets of the now destroyed town there were pieces of flesh laying everywhere.

"larry! larry please wake up you can't die here, you... you promised me... you promised me for gods sake! hic.. you said after we... after we have sufficient money we would by a house so you and me could live alone... so.. so don't die on me yet.. larry!"

a chienthrope was holding another chienthrope that was missing an arm, a leg and some pieces of his body. she was holding it very tightly and didn't even sensed or maybe she wasn't concerned about living anymore as a monster came and slashed her the it her to pieces.

all over the town you could hear shouts of pleas and some were shouting to their comrades as they hurried to escape this hellhole.

Orario

gods sensed the magic and the shivered. the were terrified and believed the dungeon gave birth to another monster overlord but this would be the strongest one in the history as the magic power equaled to a primal god. they despaired by the fact that nobody could beat it and it would be left to luck that the beast doesn't come out or all of the lower world would be destroyed.

all ordinary people that were living or just close to babel died or sent into a shock. the more high leveled were pressured but not did not suffered any grave injury. the people that weren't that close to the tower weren't affected. people were still terrified about it though.

bells rang then an announcement was heard all over orario.

"ordinary people stay inside your house don't come out no matter the situation. all level one's will be dispatched to guard the surface as their is a dungeon outbreak. level 2s and 3 will guard the 1-13 floor. levels 4-6 will guard floors 14 to 17. the following names will be in a unit to help the people of the eighteenth floor as they were attacked and riviria is already destroyed. this is mandatory, we repeat this is mandatory. this concerns your safety so please follow the procedure, i repeat again this is for you safety please follow the procedure.
