everybody was frozen in terror and as soon ainz saw it, he realized that it was because mare instantly cast her spell. so he had to do something now or they would be scared and all his efforts to make themselves more trustable would be gone. if they were tense all the time, then he could not make them spit some valuable information.

- mare are you alright? I told you to use a spell, but why did you use that one!? you know that one is for special circumstances because it drains almost all your mana. ha, lupusregina! come here and cast some restoration magic.
"eh, momon no need to worry. I still have a bit more magic so, I can still walk you know."
-" ah, and here I was worried you know, we could have hold back the monster for enough time so that you could use another type spell."
Ha, ainz sighed silently under his helmet, it's a good thing that mare followed my little show. hm, with that he could put the Loki's familia at ease even if by a little. Now he could go talk with their leaders.

"hu, mare it's all finished go rest. we will be moving in a while and we need you in top conditions."
"thanks lupusregina. I will be resting so I don't become a hindrance."
they knew how to act very convincing that even ainz was very surprised. it looks like they already knew what he was aiming for, without him actually vocalizing it. so now it was his part he had to play, and get some information.
-" hello again, I am momon, the captain of ainz Ooal gown familia. aura, mare, sebas, and shalltear are core members of my familia. other members are zesshi, lupusregina, solution, narberal or nabe in short, sixth, Lumiere, Foire, increment, and decrement.
-" Hi, I'm Aura Bella Fiora. nice to meet you.
-" h... hello there , I... I'm Mare Bello Fiore.
-"nice to meet you everyone, it's good to see that none of you are hurt severely"

" I am finn the captain of the Loki familia. also thanks for the help momon-san without you helping out and sharing your potions a lot of us would've die. we are extremely grateful.
Finn, riveria and gareth bowed to ainz.
-" haha, no need to be so formal now. we are fellow adventurers, so of course I would help you. plus, we are new here so I don't know if ainz-sama is a friend of your god. for all we know they could be friends or at least know each other. if we didn't help you, then it would be shame if some of you died because we didn't lend a helping hand.
" Hahaha, well said my friend. I am gareth, when we get out of here let me invite you some fine booze at the hostess of fertility.
- "I am Riveria Ljos Alf, nice to meet you and thanks for the help.
they are much friendlier than he thought they would be. so he was thinking that getting a bit more information would be easier than he thought. he saw everyone was looking at him or to say at his helmet. he then remembered he hadn't shown his face. so he would have to use a high-level illusion incase someone here is specialized to see through illusions. he began to take his helmet, then he heard some gasps of admiration. Ainz guessed what it was as he took off his helmet completely.
when everyone saw what was underneath the helmet, they were left out in a complete shock. as what was seen was a very young and handsome face that could even rival the top most handsome gods in Orario. he had an ovular head, long hair black hair, his eyes were weird and mesmerizing at the same time, it was because the cornea and sclera were black and his pupils were red. some girls in the loki familia were already thinking that it was almost a sin for him to hide his face behind a helmet like that. even finn was a little jealous of how momon looked like.
Ainz didn't see how everyone looked at him because he was contemplating within his inner monologue.
- "Aaah, I picked a handsome face because it is easier that way for people to think I am more trustworthy, yeah that's why, umu, umu," ainz nodded his head as he was seriously contemplating as to why he did it. "seriously it's not because everyone here looks beautiful or handsome."
while he was contemplating he didn't see that Ais was in complete shock. she was paralyzed and couldn't move her eyes from him.
Ainz came out of the trance he was in and began to give orders to his group.
- "ok, guys we will be heading up again. zesshi, solution and aura will guard the rear, sebas and nabe will guard the left wing, shalltear and lupus will guard the right wing, mare will be at the center back. meanwhile the rest of you will be at the middle, I will be a main attacker. now get into position, Finn we are in position, now decide how you will integrate with us.
Ainz decided he would leave it to finn to see how well there group could adapt. he also wanted to check how good was Finn's judgment as a strategist of a high-level familia.
" Ais and I will be the main attackers, tione will be in the left wing, bete will be in the right win-
" w..wait, wait! Finn can't I be a main attacker like I always am, or at least send me to the rear." bete quickly raised an objection when he heard right wing, this left finn confused for a second. then he remember what happened to bete and saw that the red hair girl too was in the right wing. he then smiled wryly and nodded to bete.
"okay bete you will be positioned in the rear and tiona will be in the right wing. Riveria and lefiya will be position at the center back. gareth you will be at the right front defense.. now that all of you know your positions get to it as we will be leaving right away."
right there and then when everybody position and spread themselves if you looked at it from above it would looked like a giant turtle walking through the big mountain. one by one they went disappearing as they went into the giant cave.
Ainz sight shrunk upon entering the cave, and the path narrowed as soon as they entered it. he was a little excited as he remembered what it was like when he still played with his friends. he saw that the narrow path was coming to an end and his vision expanded as this floor was very big. he couldn't see a trace of grass or trees, this floor was lifeless as all he could see were rocks and sand that were reddish brown in color. he could see no movement yet, but he was still cautious as he believed only fools relaxed when there was no confirmation that everything was safe. He was right to do that as they walked a little more he could hear cracking sounds.
"everyone be on guard! the monsters are coming!" as soon as he shouted the walls began to break and humanoid creatures began walking out. it was a monster that ainz hadn't seen but knew a race of monster that almost looked the same and that was the [bafolk tribe] that he had encountered at the roble holy kingdom. the [ bafolk] had awareness of it's surrounding or to put it simply they had consciousness of their own, while this were just mindless monsters.
"everyone do not move from your positions. just defend it and if any Fomiore pass through you do not worry the second line of defense will handle it." Finn commanded and his voice echoed throughout the whole room.
"yes captain!" everyone responded with a loud battle cry.
the fomiores had already surrounded them.
AHH, the fomiore too made a battle cry and began attacking with their heavy clubs and as soon they neared the group they exploded leaving purple crystals.
finn began attacking and killing the fomiore with ease but they were a lot of them, that it seemed never ending.
ainz swung his sword cutting them in half as he stayed in his position then turned and looked at Ais who seemed a bit spaced out.
" hey, Ais-san, hey, don't space out like that you got to focus. you can seriously get injured like that you know."
Ainz decided to warn her, as it was dangerous to be space out on the battlefield but it had no effect because she still looked like she was on automode.
she kept attacking, and it wasn't until a bunch of them grouped against her and one almost scraped her with it's weapon that she came out of her trance state.
" are you feeling well? you keep losing focus and that's bad now that you are in a battle." Ainz reminded her again because this time it looked like she listened.
"Ah, I'm okay, I was just remembering something."
-shalltear was ranting of how annoying killing this monsters were.
"Ah, I remember this one time when we went to a city that a bunch of quagoas had invaded and we went to kill them and ainz-sama left me and aura to kill most of them. and they still didn't learn, they kept coming in waves to attack me. stupid creatures don't know that resistance is futile in front of us ~arinsu."
" oh, is it that time you went and saved them, so that's why they became Ainz-sama's subordinate's. it was so quick that even demiurge was impressed."
"yes, ~arinsu"
" what are talking about? is it about momon-san? hey, tell me, I want to talk about momon too. Aah, he looks like the hero in my dreams, he looks so dashing and his strength is the real deal too."
tiona butted in the conversation but they didn't mind because she was praising ainz, though she didn't know it.
- mare was a little bit worried about what spell could he use that didn't attract to much attention. so when he heard Riveria and lefiya chanting, he in desperation quickly thought it was better to use a buff spell that raised one's magic power. he pointed towards Riveria and casted-
{ magic boost} {magic caster's blessing} {maximized magic} he paused for a while to think what buff he could cast to lefiya. she couldn't even finish a spell so it would be a waste of mana and would probably attract attention if he casted more buffs, so he went with a simple buffing spell.
{lion's heart}

- Riveria and lefiya couldn't talk while they were casting so they just nodded.
"white snow, harbinger of end, come forth twilight, envelope me wind, close of the light, chill the earth, let loose your blizzard, third true winter- my name is Alf/Alfar!"{Wynn Fimbulvetr!}
what was summoned was one of the most powerful magic riveria had, coupled with the magic boost that mare had given her and that lefiya casted the same spell at the same time .
pure white light was seen expanding in every direction. when the light calmed down all that was left was a room made out of ice instead of a lifeless rocky cave. all the fomiore's were frozen to death.
cracking sound were heard and the bodies disappeared with a poof. only leaving behind purple crystals.
" ok guys, hurry up and pick the crystal we will wait 5 minutes so hurry up," Finn shouted as soon as he saw the crystals.
5 minutes later
" Okay guys, let's start moving to the next floor. we have to hurry as our rations are not gonna last us for two days more. so we have to at least make it to the safety point of the 36th floor in 18 hours." Finn shouted again as soon as the time passed.
Ainz began to think that it was better to hurry and get out to the surface, even though he liked that he was on an adventure in a dungeon, it was best that he too looked a little desperate because of the ration. so he used message to call mare.
[mare can you hear me?]
[awawa, what is it ainz-sama]
[ mare use mass compass, then cast lesser dexterity, lesser strength, harden steel, and resist weakening so that everyone is buffed]

as soon mare finish casting the buffs, an uproar was caused by the member's that were buffed.
" o, okay guys, the buff will only last half an hour, s, so we need to hurry." mare shouted even though he sounded very shy.
most of the guys and girls of the Loki and Hephaestus familia were looking at mare as if he was an angel.
"oh, your mage is great, momon"
-" yeah, he is very proficient using Aoe magic so when we have mission's or anything that have a large quantity involve on it, we always rely on him." yeah he is the most proficient with aoe buffs, attacks/defense.
"he? is your mage a, boy?"
finn asked as he was very surprised by this fact, but he wasn't the only one as even Ais seemed a bit puzzled when Ainz mentioned that " mare is a boy".
- " yeah he is a boy."
" oh, so he is a boy, a boy." Finn kept whispering the same thing again like a broken record.
44th floor
"we are at the entrance of the 44th floor, have your undine robe to ward of the heat and fire attacks. Riveria use a protection against fire, enchantment, on everyone." Finn then turned to momon only to see he already had a red cape which then he assumed it, to be something equally like their undine robe.
they entered the floor and ainz saw how similar this floor was to demiurge's one. The whole floor was like the area of an inside volcano. The walls, ground, and ceiling are colored burning red and distorted rocks lied on the ground across the whole floor. along the walls are cracks that are colored black which seemed like solidified lava. Red lights shined through some of the cracks showing flowing lava which radiated light, giving off an eerie presence.
monsters began to come out of the walls. ainz was a bit surprised as they looked like the lava golems he found on the second continent. the difference was that almost every being from that world had a conscious or per say a soul and were not just mindless monsters who only knew how to attack.
- they passed this floor and 4 floors more in order to reach the 39 floor.
39 floor
they had taken 10 hours to reach from floor 49 to 39. they had a buff for the first thirty minutes and that's why they could do it in 10 hours, they usually take more time.
" ho, finally we reached the 39th floor, Finn let's take a break, I see a lot of your members are already exhausted." Ainz already knew the safe points becuase when he was talking with finn on the way he got a lot of information in a roundabout manner.
"okay, we will take an hour rest, although I preferred we do it at the 36th floor but I see that some of the members are already exhausted so we have no choice." Finn answered then looked down and whispered to himself" maybe we moved too fast this time and their stamina depleted faster"
" Okay guys, we will stay here an hour, so be sure to rest and eat to replenish your strength.
"oh, thanks captain!" the members responded loudly and cheerfully as they were already very tired.
They began setting the remaining tents that had not been destroyed. When they finished almost everyone fell making a plat sound
