Orario

time of the announcement.

People on the streets were shouting hysterically as they saw that people died suddenly. They felt the wave of power, that they hadn't felt before. Gods could show that level of power but at the same time couldn't, because of the restrictions put on them before they came down to Genkai.

as soon as the people heard the announcement some of them calmed down a little. they tried their best to follow the instructions. They didn't want to die, who in their right mind would want to die? They were trying their best to orderly leave and find shelter, but, they couldn't as they weren't trained to do things like this. They were all clustered, moving in an unorderly manner. Of course, there were the other kind of people (most of them) that were scared and selfish, so they ran thinking only how to save themselves, without seeing how they caused more chaos.

All the level 6 adventures were forming groups with others of their level and going in. the levels of 5,4,3, and 2 were all doing the same and going inside the dungeon. while the level's 1 stayed on the surface guarding all around babel up to the 3rd block surrounding it.

if you could see on a birds eye view, all you would be able to see would be people entering the dungeon like ants entering their nest.

just entering on the upper floors, the high-leveled adventurer were being attacked by huge amounts of monsters ranging from kobolds, goblins, and huge lizards.

Freya's familia was leading the adventurers as they had three level 6 with them. they were Allen, Hogni, and Hedin. they had some level 5 members and a lot of level 4 and 3.

Allen had an irritated face as he remembered that Ottar stayed to protect Freya. He wanted to stay with her and protect her but was sent to lead their forces.

"hurry up idiots! why are you so Fucking slow, can't you run and kill this Fucking monsters that are on the way, faster!" He was taking out his irritation on his familia members by shouting at them even if they were killing the monsters swiftly.

they were bound to be retorts, as he wasn't the only one that wanted to stay and protect Freya. " hey pussy, what are you talking about, aren't you leading us. you are at the front and can't kill monsters swiftly, so you faulting us with the things you are doing." " yeah aren't you at the front, therefore you are at fault for us moving slow as you can't even kill this low-level trash swiftly."

"aaahhhh! shut up! this Fucking trash." Allen said as he killed monsters in a more crazed manner.

even though they were arguing with each other, that didn't slow them down. they were only clearing a way for them to pass as it was infested with monsters and the walls still had cracks. so it lets out monsters without stopping.

they didn't stop until every adventurer was on the respective floor they had to be. there was a monumental amount of monster drops and crystals that were thrown on the floor. they weren't picked up as they were too many monsters, and the adventurers had to be concentrated in order to live.

some of the low-level adventurers were trying to pick out some of the drops and crystals, and were killed as soon they lost focus of the battlefield.

not all the adventurers went in at the same time, when a batch of them was tired another group that was outside on the surface entered. they were taking breaks and swapping by sending one messenger to the surface.

An hour had already passed, so people were packing their tents, as they were about to leave this floor and go to the next safe point to completely rest there.

Ainz used this time to get information and relay orders to nazarick; more specifically to pandora's actor, demiurge, and albedo.

He told pandora's actor to transform into himself (Ainz) put on a mask and gauntlets, then go to Orario with demiurge and albedo to collect information and register as a familia. They had to go out with world items in case someone had something similar and to withdraw if they were attacked.

He did not worry about them too much, as they were the most intelligent in nazarick so they knew how to handle themselves.

Ainz then told his children to get into the same formation they were. one by one they gathered into the formation and were ready to travel.

They began to move to the 38th floor.

As they were moving in some strips of land that were in higher elevation, they could see all around them.

This floor was covered by forests and lakes. Although he had already seen places like this in the new world he was in, it was still very enchanting to Ainz, and every time he saw landscapes like this he remembered his old comrades, specifically blue planet.

They kept moving until they were in front of a cave that had rough stone stairs on it. they entered and followed the passages after passages until monsters appeared before they killed them all and kept moving. after following several passages and killing a huge amount of monsters, they came before a colossal room that was seemingly made out of white marble.

everywhere Ainz's vision could reach was made out of a white stone so shiny he could almost see his reflection.

when they passed through this floor they felt very tiny as this floor was the size of Orario.

they kept going until they reached the next safe point. At the time they reached everyone was exhausted, except for Ainz and his crew.

The Loki Familia was so exhausted that almost every member fell asleep after setting their tents. the only ones that were awake were Finn and Gareth as they took the duty to stay for the lookout.

Gareth took out a flask of wine and began to drink, as he almost fell asleep. He and Finn looked towards Ainz's group and saw that they were putting on a spell. it looked like the spell was for protection as it looked like a magic barrier was around it. they were very surprised because they had never heard of magic like this and someone who had a lot of different magic spells.

Meanwhile, Ainz and his group took two tents out of his inventory. the tents looked very plain and small. Ainz had already put an illusion around them so on the outside it looked like they were putting up a tent.

Ainz, Mare, and Sebas entered in one and the girls entered on the remaining one. After they entered the illusion spell was deactivated by Ainz.

when Ainz entered the tent he could see that it was very large and well decorated. each tent had 20 rooms.

this was a rare item, players that didn't have spells such as mare's nature's shelter, Ainz's create fortress, or any magic like that did their best to get one. Ainz Ooal gown had plenty of these items as when they heard of them they were fascinated by it. They were very sturdy as they could take a super-tier spell without being destroyed. the only super-tier magic that could destroy it in one go was [sword of Damocles] or other super-tier magic designed to target structures.

blue planet even had a collection of it as they were some ultra-rare that had the size of a small village inside it, containing various background themes. rainforest with their natural animals, such animals were only up to level five.

He then proceeded to take off the armor.

"mare and sebas pick out any of the rooms for your own."

"Ainz-sama, While I'm grateful that you granted this lowly servant some time to rest, I would like to stand guard in front of your room, and if there is anything you need, just ask me and it shall be done." sebas said as he looked towards Ainz with a fiery conviction that made Ainz falter.

"S...Sebas, while I know that you don't need rest. I would like you to get some, so you can be in top condition, as we are in an unknown place. While we haven't encountered any dangerous opponent, we still have to be wary of our surroundings. Look, even mare knows that. That's why he hasn't objected, and as for the durability of these tents, you don't have to worry, as it can survive several 10 tier spells before it is destroyed. If you are worried that someone could enter without us knowing, you don't have to worry much as only a level 90 skilled thief could enter in one of these by force." it looked like he would keep preaching sebas for a good while, but he realized that he talked too much and stopped talking." umu, something like that so please find a room that suits your taste and rest."

" well, then I will be taken the left one to your side Ainz-Sama. In case you need something, I can attend to you as fast as possible."

Sebas said as he waited to see which room Ainz would pick.

"I-I! I will pick the one on your right side Ainz-sama." Mare said a little loudly before he began to whisper which side he would pick.

" Umu, I will leave it to you then sebas and mare." Ainz then entered a room and closed the door. He then heard sounds of clicking too.

'Ha, I wonder how they are doing. Should I contact them to see what have they accomplished? Nah, let's wait as it's only been a while since we appeared here, and it's only been some hours since I told them. I wanted to let Lupusregina buff Loki's group again but it would seem that not even that elf can do it. It's a good thing that the maids heard some of the lower-level guys talk about how not even Riveria could accomplish that even if she was the strongest mage here in Orario.' ainz began to think what would happen if he had let lupusregina buff them, it would seem he almost let out some extra information for no reason.

Darkness itself split open and a boney hand went forward until it was swallowed by the darkness, it looked like it was moving searching for something until it came to a stop, then it came out with a black box decorated with small letters and locks.

Ainz opened the box and took out a book that wrote 'Diary of an undead overlord No. 12'

" Let's see, no, first I should cast [ silence ] just in case."

Ainz then laid down on the luxurious bed and opened the book and began to write something. After a while he closed the book and returned it to the {magic box}, He then opened his [item box] and put the {magic box} inside it.

Ainz then moved facing down and stayed like that. He didn't move a single bit that one would think he was already asleep.

Of course, sleep was completely unnecessary for an undead being like Ainz.

Indeed, it was only the remnants of his humanity telling his mind that he should be tired. That was why Ainz did this sort of thing, lying down on a bed to cool down his overheated head and heart. It was a hectic day but he knew that things like this were meaningless and were a temporary solution as he would need to think about the current problem.

'Ha, what do they think about today and the way I handled things. We should be careful how we do things from now on as there seem to be gods in this world. Still, weirdly, this dungeon has not been conquered even if there are gods. Is there a restriction of some sort that it doesn't let gods in, are the gods very low leveled too, or are gods here just some giant assholes like in Yggdrasil? That they want to see how people suffer and struggle for their life.

I heard that they (Loki Familia) wanted to set a new record by diving into one of the unexplored floors. still I already roughly estimated what their levels should be, but I can't understand why Riveria-san can use 6th tier magic if she isn't at that level yet, even if that magic would be considered a low 6th tier magic. Is it because of that long chant?' Ainz pondered

He thought it was weird as he hadn't seen any signs of her using meta magic like [boost magic] or [over magic] nor did she make a ritual as some did in the new world. It was likely that form of magic that was unique to this world, still it was not that dangerous as it would seem to be as her casting time was long. time was a very important factor to be considered when fighting as taking a couple of seconds doing an attack would lower your chances of winning.

Ainz then took a little pouch from his side and took out some crystals from the pouch.

" let's see" Ainz cast [Appraisal magic item] on the magic stones one by one.

some information entered Ainz's nonexistent brain, but it felt as if the information wasn't complete so he tried again. this time with a higher-tiered spell [All Appraisal Magic item].

can be used to make magic potions, dual potions. The more powerful monsters the greater the stones are.

the greater the stone is, the better, as one could make a more powerful magic potion

or dual potion. weapons enhancement can also be made with this stone.

"ha... Hahaha... HAHAHA! Could I be the first player to encounter something like this? tch," Ainz was overjoyed and feeling elated with the discovery until his emotion inhibitor calmed him down.

"No, I can't be the only player transported to this world, because if someone else made the same wish using a world item he could've come before us. we should be wary of other players."

It looks like the stronger the monsters the greater the crystal is, and it looks like the deeper you go the stronger the monsters are.

still, it looks like there is more information but I can't seem to get it. If Amanomahitotsu was here he could likely get more information as he was a blacksmith. He was specialized in getting information on the items he used to make better use of them.

well, there is no need to hurry and find what else it's usef... like hell, there's no need to hurry. if the basic information I could get was excellent, who knows what amazing things this stone can do.

for starter, I will give the chief blacksmith and his subordinates some of this stone so they try and make some weapons. I was thinking that I could also give some to demiurge too but he is already going to the surface. As he is going with the other two intellectuals of nazarick maybe by the time they go out, they would have discovered some uses to it, but just in case let me remind him.

so Ainz cast a [message] and told demiurge, albedo and pandoras actor about the information he got.

Once he finished giving orders to them, he continued to think about the different types of experiments and how they could benefit him.

"Thanks to the summons Ainz-sama gave us we are proceeding without a problem. Still to think Ainz-sama has a spell useful for every occasion is amazing."

'Ahh, as expected of my beloved Ainz-sama"

"Ah, how wonderful and magnificent is my creator Ainz-sama."

five figures were moving through the dungeon faster than the eye could see. three of them were the size of a human, while the other two were small.

They were Demiurge, albedo, and Pandora's actor. The two other beings that were leading, were Ainz's summons' that were adept at finding the shortest and safest paths in a dungeon. one was a three-legged crow, while the other one was a small fairy.

"Is this a player-made dungeon or could it be that we are in an enemy base?"

"No albedo, Ainz-sama already told me that dungeons that players could make were limited to a certain size and that even other players could not make dungeons this big." demiurge said as he looked at his surroundings.

"yeah, and players would not make pointless floors with weak monsters. In the treasury, when going through the glorious! and wonderfuuulll! items that the supreme beings collected, I found various enemy bases layouts through a book. All of the bases were very well designed and spawned monsters of a certain level." pandora's actor shared his knowledge.

The layouts pandora's actor was talking about were dungeon and guild bases, maps, that the member of Ainz Ooal Gown made after every raid.

"Demiurge did you seriously think that Ainz-sama was talking about dungeons like this one? He was talking about dungeon bases like our one that cannot be compared to this. look at your surrounding do you see something great about it? Did you not hear or remember about the labyrinths that mare made. He could make dungeons like this one if he was given enough manpower and time. The only similar feature this has to the great tomb of nazarick is, that it spawns monsters. That was the only feature that mare couldn't make, the auto spawn of monsters." Albedo said as she remembered what kind of monsters they encountered on the way.

"yeah, another reason why I think that this isn't a player-made dungeon is because of the walls. They are easy to break, every time monsters are summoned, it breaks. if it's like that every time, then no treasury could support it, it would be empty in days just by repairing the walls. Ha, who's a madman to waste their treasures like that. If they waste it like that then poor treasury. ahh, treasury filled with treasures, suffering and being abused like that, ahh what sad life of the treasury and the treasures." pandoras actor began giving good explanation about why it did not belong to a player but was distracted by his thoughts, of a treasury being used improperly.

"ah, there he goes again talking about treasures and treasury. it has been two weeks since he's like that, it's the time he hasn't been able to enter the treasury." Albedo said as she looked at her smart but eccentric companion.

"mhm, I would like to make a small comment to what he said." demiurge said as he took out a magic stone from his inventory. "The monsters that appear don't look like summoned monsters. It looks like the dungeon is making them, and they drop some kind of crystal. some of them even drop other items, It matches what Ainz-sama said once."

He once said " it's weird, monsters don't drop crystal, nor items. I know we are not in Yggdrasil anymore, but still the monsters are kinda lame as they don't drop anything useful." maybe this is what he meant by monster drop. "even the summon's of Ainz-sama wanted to eat the crystal."

"so Demiurge, do you think we are in Yggdrasil again?" Albedo asked as she wasn't sure if they had been summoned back to Yggdrasil. " If we are in Yggdrasil, why didn't Ainz-sama tell us?"

"I can't be sure if we are but..." it looked like Demiurge was about to say something important when he was interrupted.

He suddenly bowed down.

mhm, he nodded his head as if understanding something. " I understand Ainz-sama we will be investigating about it."

"haha, it looks like everything is in our master's hand."Demiurge pushed up his glasses as he said that. " and no Albedo, it seems we are not in Yggdrasil or Ainz-sama would know about the crystals the monster drop. He said he got some information about it, but there's more information that he couldn't get. so it's our job to investigate the crystal's uses."

He then began giving some of the crystals he collected to the summons.

"Here have some, use them as you like." as soon as demiurge gave the summons permission to use the crystals as they liked, they began eating it, as if it was some sort of delicacy.

Demiurge was intrigued as to what effect it would have. Even albedo and the blabbering pandora, focused on the summons to see what would happen.

"hmm, no change happened. do the effects take a while to be shown? or there is no external effect?" Demiurge uttered as he looked pensive. " maybe there is an effect that we can't perceive and only the summoner can feel it."

"Like some sort of increase in endurance?"

"I don't think so Albedo, Demiurge summon one of your lowest demons. Then give it the stone so it can eat it. maybe you will personally feel what has changed in your summon."

Demiurge then summoned a gazer devil and gave it some of the crystals. the crystal he gave varied from the brightness it had to how big it was.

He then entered in a trance, suddenly a wicked smile formed up his face.

" Albedo, Pandora... do you remember how Ainz-sama said that only his undead could be made permanent with the help of corpses? He was also finding a way to make another type of summons, permanent."

"Demiurge are you saying that with the help of this crystal... we can make summons permanent?"

"yeah, that's what I'm saying. although the crystals I gave to this gazer devil belong to monsters of a higher level, It barely made him permanent."

"So you are saying that higher level summon would need a higher quantity and quality of this crystals?"

"Mhm, although I would like to continue the experiment, we are in a hurry. Ainz-sama did give us an instruction to find it's uses but he also said that getting to the surface is our priority. So we can't waste much time in the dungeon."

What both Albedo and Demiurge didn't see was the light in Pandora's actor eye. He looked like a kid finding a treasure. his personality was just like his creator as everytime they found an unkown item they wanted to collect it.

"We will be entering the 18th floor, what do we do with this summon?" Albedo asked as she pointed at the gazer devil.

"Its level is low, so it would be best to destroy it lest we be found," Demiurge answered as he was about to destroy it.

" Wait Demiurge, make him go separate from us. and let him kill monsters on his own and collect the crystals. even if he is found I don't think that person will be able to find us." pandora's actor interjected.

" Pandora's actor, I know what you are thinking but if you want of those crystals that badly we could send a higher level demon like a shadow demon you know. the risk of being found out would be less." demiurge then summoned a shadow demon and destroyed the gazer devil.

pandora's actor kept quiet as he looked at the motes of light of the destroyed gazer devil. He didn't want the gazer devil to be destroyed as it was the first specimen made from the crystal experiment, and his collecter's blood, more like fluid, reacted to it. he knew that they could send it to nazarick by gate but it would waste more time than necessary.

[silence] - allows the user to eliminate sounds in an area.

[boost magic] - it can elevate the tier of the spell.

[over magic] - in exchange of great quantities of mana, it allows the user to activate one spell of a tier higher than what the caster is normally able to use.
