Chapter 100 - Mission Completion

Base Camp,

As the problem couldn't stop anymore, Lindow could only fight for his life against several Aragamis swarming the camp. However, looking at him closely, his body was already bathed in blood as he fought Aragamis for quite some time now and would fall down any moment as he also had already taken several injuries on his body.

"Damn you all!" Lindow cursed as he lifted his God Arc but was stopped after being hit by one of the Aragami which he flew back and crashed toward a nearby vehicle and coughed up blood from his mouth.

"T-To think that I would die like this." Lindow painfully said as he couldn't move his body anymore and was now only waiting for his death while looking at the sky. He then just forced his hand to move to grab the cigarette that Lev gave him as he wanted to taste it for the last time before dying.

Lindow looked around and saw one of Vajra already charging at him when suddenly he saw something coming from the sky and it pierced through its body. After that, he then looked at the person who did it and smiled after seeing who it was.

"I-I thought I was a goner now." Lindow lastly said before losing consciousness.

Lev who just arrived on time immediately headed towards Lindow and made him drink and eat something. Moments later, just like magic, all his wounds suddenly closed and his pale face started returning to normal, however, he was still in an unconscious state.

Right after that, Lev then recalled Infinity into his hand as he looked back again to face the Aragamis which several sounds of fighting then could be heard throughout the place upon seeing Sia and the others were already in the area.

"Ready and prepare for battle." Lev shouted as he threw something on them which they then eat it directly.

After replenishing their strength by eating magic beans, a fight then broke out again, but this time was to defend the base camp. Though Lev knew how to stop this swarming Aragamis, he refrained from doing so as he wanted more and more Aragami to come and even if he destroyed the machine that was guiding them here, it was now very late as they already surrounded the place.

Lev and the others then just fight them non-stop while also reporting back to the headquarters. They took quite a lot of time before the rest of the other team arrived on the base but instead of helping, they found themselves unable to move as they were shocked upon seeing that the whole place had become too gory to look at seeing several limbs of Aragamis on the ground added by the fact that blood started pooling in the place.

"What are you all doing?! This is not the time to be shocked. We need to protect this place!!!" Sakuya shouted after seeing that the rest of the teams were staying in place, unlike her team who was already fighting the Aragami in the Area. However, she couldn't blame them since she herself was also feeling uncomfortable with the heavy atmosphere.

After hearing Sakuya, the rest of the teams woke up and remembered the reason why they headed here and started doing their best to help and protect the place however, they had a problem with how to enter the base since it was filled with Aragami. They could only grit their teeth and force their way inside and it took them an hour to reach the center.

"Lev, what's the situation?" Sakuya immediately asked after getting close to Lev. Seeing how messed up his unit members had become, they might have been pretty exhausted from defending the place.

"I-It's pretty good." Contrary to Sakuya's expectation, Lev replied with a smile which caused confusion in Sakuya seeing what was good in their situation.

"Tsubaki, are there more Aragamis coming into the camp?" Lev then asked Tsubaki from the headquarters as he wanted to know if it was now time for him to destroy the thing that was calling them.

"Yes, there were still a large number of Aragami coming on your way." Tsubaki replied immediately seeing that there were more and more Aragamis coming to the base camp. They were doing their best back in the headquarters to know what was happening and yet they still haven't found the source of the problem.

"It's good then." Lev said before taking back Infinities and took out his two Zabimarus instead while looking at the Aragami flying in the sky.

"Tell the others that if we survive this wave, we can leave this place alive and also finish the mission at the same time." Lev said to Sakuya before he took his leave and rushed forward toward the Aragamis with a smile on his face.

Seeing this, Sakuya then immediately relayed his message which then boosted the morale of the God Eaters as they started another round of killing.

Following that, chaos occupied the whole camp however, Lev almost took care of all of them as he was running all around killing them while using some skills at the same time which made the other teams feel surprised and admired him, especially after seeing him killing them in one punch. They didn't even find it strange as the amazement presided over their curiosity.

Without resting for a second, the fight lasted until sunset and the others could now catch their breath. Some even started mending the wounds of several injured God Eaters while looking at the beautiful sunset at the same time.

"It finally ended." Sakuya said while looking at the surroundings. She then looked around the camp before her heart started worrying as she could not find Lev in the area. On the other hand, Alisa and the others also realized such a thing as they already started shouting his name after being worried that something bad had happened to him.

Not too far from the camp,

While Sakuya and the others were worriedly looking out for Lev, the person of interest, on the other hand, could be found sitting on a pile of dead Aragamis with a smile on his face after seeing and hearing several notifications.

After seeing the notifications, Lev's smile reached the apex before he suddenly stiffened after feeling something had been injected into his body. He felt like breaking apart before finally calming down upon realizing that it was his power all along.

Along with surging power, all of Lev's fatigue and injuries started healing at a fast rate. Not long after that, he just stayed still while trying to calm himself down. He thinks that he needs to control the sudden increase in his strength first if he does not want to hurt anyone unintentionally.

Base Camp,

In the midst of searching, Lindow who was unconscious suddenly woke up. He looked around and saw how bad the place had become while looking surprised to see several God Eaters lying on the ground catching their breath. He then stood up and there he saw Sakuya and the rest of his unit.

"Sakuya, what happened?" Lindow suddenly asked as he was confused about why he was still alive. He was also curious as to what happened upon seeing the place already crowded upon seeing several God Eaters.

"Lindow, good to see that you're back." Sakuya replied upon seeing Lindow had woken up from his slumber. She then starts telling him what happened during the time he was unconscious which surprises Lindow knowing that Lev almost did everything.

Upon knowing the situation, Lindow then looked back at the surroundings before thinking where the hell did he go.

"Why can't I find Lev?" Lindow suddenly asked Sakuya while looking at Alisa and the others with their worried faces.

"W-We still keep on searching for him." Sakuya worriedly replied as even now, they still couldn't find Lev around the camp.

Sakuya was about to move and continue searching for Lev when someone from the headquarters suddenly reported in haste.

"This is headquarters!! Listen! All God Eaters in the camp!! Immediately leave the place!! I repeat, all God Eaters and personnel in the camp, immediately leave the place!!" Tsubaki from the headquarters reported in a shout while looking at the Aragami reading that they saw on the monitor. All of them in the headquarters could not help but look in horror after seeing how huge the Aragami was heading to the camp.

Sakuya and the others heard it all and were shocked by the sudden order but before they could question back, they couldn't help but look at the sky after hearing a loud screech. The orange sky which was supposed to be beautiful suddenly turned dark after a huge shadow blocked the sun.

Lindow and the rest of the God Eaters widened their eyes after seeing a very huge Aragami in the sky heading toward them. Each and everyone had a different expression on their face, some already lost hope as they fell down on the ground with tears flowing from their eyes all the while holding their God Arcs tightly.

"T-Thats." Kota, who was very exhausted, couldn't help but fall down on the ground while shaking in fear upon seeing the giant Aragami in the sky. No matter how he looked at it, the size alone was enough to bring terror.

"Sakuya, where's Lev?" Tsubaki from the headquarters suddenly asked. It was already too late to retreat as the Aragami was too fast and the only person she could hope for was none other than Lev.

"I don--." Sakuya did not finish her words after feeling someone just hold her shoulder all of a sudden. She looked at who it was before her eyes suddenly widened from surprise and gladness.

"I'm here, Tsubaki." Lev, who just arrived, replied while looking at the huge Aragami in the sky.

Meanwhile, Sakuya and the others all took a glance at him while doubting if he was really Lev. They looked at him with awe seeing a very big change about him as if he was a different person.

"Leave that Aragami to me." Lev said as he walked and took a distance from them leaving Sakuya and the others couldn't even say anything and just looked at him as if they were still lost in thought.

Lev, at the distance, looked at his status first, skimming through it while massaging his arms as he couldn't stop himself but wanted to unleash his power. After a while, he then just casually waved his hand, however, by doing so, it caused destruction to the place he was waving at. He could only wryly smile as he could not still adjust to the power that came back to him just like the feeling of being stripped from the beginning.

Sakuya and the others, on the other hand, all stared at the destruction that Lev made and could only gulp upon seeing that his casual wave of the hand caused a large knife-like cut on the area.

Following that, Lev then closed his eyes for a while before suddenly motioning his hand to write something in the air from which a spirit ring then suddenly came and glowed out on his back.

***Koku***

A dragon with a single eye suddenly came out and it roared loudly after being called to the surface. It roared so loud as if it felt like being freed from a long-time prison that made everyone present shake in fear while looking at it.

Lev, on the other hand, looked at Koku and thought how good it was to see it again. He then just pointed his finger toward the Aragami in the sky.

"Koku, burn it." Lev then ordered and right after that, Koku started accumulating fire and it grew quickly seeing it now big enough to cover the entirety of the base camp.

After accumulating enough fire, Koku then unleashed its attack in the form of a beam of fire toward the Aragami. Its attack, at the same time, caused a disturbance in the air as it flew all the dead bodies to the ground which even Sakuya and the others were already holding into something to stand their ground while looking at what the dragon that came out from Lev did.

It didn't take long for the attack to stop and all they could see now was how beautiful and clear the sky was before looking there and then staring at Lev who was standing in the distance like some kind of God.

"It's good to have my power back." Lev said with a smile after hearing the notifications. He then looked at the people behind him before disappearing into the place without telling everyone where he ran to.

"Lev." Sakuya murmured after seeing Lev vanish in an instant. She had a lot of questions to ask, however, seeing that the huge Aragami disappeared in the sky, she could only smile in relief thinking that it was finally over this time.

Aegis Island,

The place was shrouded with silence as two people could be seen looking at a strange thing while talking to each other. They didn't even know what was happening outside now as they were too focused on what was in front of them.

"So, this is what Ark Nova looked like in person." However, the silence suddenly broke as a familiar voice echoed around the place.

The two people inside couldn't help but look at where the voice came from and were shocked to the core to see how the person came here without them noticing.

"Surprise to see me, Director Johannes?" The person asked while smiling. This person was none other than Lev who used Instant Transmission to appear directly in Johannes's location.

"W-Why are you here... No. How did you even come here?" Johannes asked with surprise upon seeing a person he didn't expect or the very least he wanted to see in such a place since he thought that the operation was still ongoing.

"You really did a cruel plan out there, Director. But you're too naïve to think that those Aragamis could kill Lindow under my watch." Lev replied while looking at Ark Nova and thought how beautiful and horrible it was in person.

Suddenly, the other person with Johannes took out something but before he could do anything, his movement surprisingly came to a halt after seeing that he could not move even an inch no matter how much strength he put into his body.

"Dr. Oguruma, we meet again. Thank you for guiding Alisa in this place. However, you step on the wrong side." Lev said without even looking at him as he was too focused on staring at Ark Nova. Following that, the sound of a dead body falling then echoed seeing Dr. Oguruma on the floor without any signs of life.

"Director Johannes, are you curious to know who and where I really came from?" Lev then asked as he knew that it must still be this thing that was bugging Johannes after coming to the Fenrir Far East Branch.

"Well. I am Lev Hendrix. Successor of the one and only True God." Lev then introduced himself again before the place then suddenly started getting hot.

Johannes didn't even bat an eye at the dead Dr. Ogumura as his eyes widened after hearing Lev. He couldn't believe that he really introduced himself as the successor of the one and only True God as he didn't fully believe that God even existed in the world.

Despite the doubts, Johannes looked at Lev seriously. There was even no fear in his eyes as he was too focused on what Lev could still do before finally seeing him casually punching Ark Nova.

"1,000 Ren Kugi Punch." Lev used an ability that immediately took effect as it already created surreal sounds but the power behind it was stronger than he thought as it also destroyed the whole island and the area surrounding it in the process.

"T-That." Johannes murmured while looking at how Lev's casual punch destroyed the whole place together with the project that took him years to prepare into nothingness. However, despite the fact that all his efforts had gone to waste, an expression filled with curiosity could be seen in his eyes while he was looking at Lev.

Following the destruction of the place, Lev looked back at Johannes before touching him on his shoulder and disappearing afterward.

Base Camp,

At this moment, Lev together with Director Johannes could be found back where Lev disappeared from and was now facing the gazes of Sakuya and the others while the former was also doing the same.

"Fenrir. White Fang. Come on out." Lev then said before a tear in space opened and two mighty and intimidating wolves suddenly appeared behind his back shocking Johannes and the rest of the God Eaters in the place. They have been seeing magical and unbelievable things today that they all thought they were in a dream at the moment.

"Kill out any Aragami that you can find." Lev then ordered the two wolves from which they howled and directly left the place as they each took the opposite position.

Following that, Lev then looked at Sakuya and the rest with a smile before saying, "Let's head back."
