Prologue 1

Throwing my bag over my shoulder, I was returning home from school, and on the way I came across a cute little girl who asked me to help her. I went with her and saw some skaters skateboarding by the alley. Noticing how one of them turned over a small bottle with a flower that was standing near the pole, I threw the bag on the asphalt and flexed my fists. Their carelessness made me very angry, so I drove off the foot of the jerk who did it.

After he left a mark on the wall near the road and fell on the asphalt, the perplexed skaters then got acquainted with my heel, which properly pressed him to the ground. Ignoring his fluttering and cries of pain, I pointed my finger at the other skaters:

"Get out of here!" I shouted in an imperious tone and once again hit the opponent under me on the nose, after which he finally calmed down.

"W-what?!…." guys with ugly faces were surprised when they saw one of them lying unconscious on the asphalt.

"You suddenly appear and wet Yamanaki, and even want us to get out!?" one of the dregs of society with a piercing on his lip protested.

"Are you fucked up?! Do you want to die?! Eh?!"

Oh, idiots. Is it really so hard to just leave?…. I gave them a good chance to get out of here in one piece. I just showed them their possible future, and they still want it to happen.…

"Answer me, you… Ugh!…" but the guy with the hair on his head, similar to the nose of an airplane, did not have time to finish, as his face kissed my heel.

Without the participation of hands, perfectly repeating the somersault after his friend and even more demolishing the plaster from the wall, he fell right on the first skater, who knocked over the jar.

"A-a-a! Toshi has fallen!" the other scumbags who remained on their feet were scared.

"Everyone shut up!" I shouted menacingly, and then took out a knife from my pocket… or rather, a kunai of my own making.…

I made it myself. The work is weak, but it's better than nothing.

I directed the kunai towards the skaters and said with a threatening look. "If you don't want me to cut something off for you, then for the last time, GET OUT OF HERE! And don't let me see you here again!"

"We apologize~~!" they shouted in tears, took the fallen and ran away at full speed.

After they disappeared, I took a long breath and put the kunai back in my pocket. Then I went up to the pillar itself and put the bottle with the flower back.

"I scare them so much that they will never come here again" I whispered to the girl who was standing near the pole and quietly watching everything.

"Thank you..." she smiled sweetly at me and thanked me with a bow, "Now I can spend time in silence... "

Picking up the bag, I smiled back at her with the words. "You're welcome." and finally went home without turning around, waving to her.

* * *

The city of Karakura is a small town with an average population. The place of my birth. A nice and quiet place where I have spent most of my life.

My name is Ichigo Kurosaki. Sixteen years old. The hair color is red. The eye color is brown. Occupation — high school student and…

'You are reckless as always, Naruto...' a rude voice suddenly sounded from the depths of my subconscious.

'Stop calling me by that name… Kurama ...' I was indignant at the demon inside me, 'I am Kurosaki Ichigo. It's been sixteen years, you could have gotten used to it by now.'

Yes, I'm not an ordinary guy, because I don't belong to this world. In a previous life, I was a Hokage, the strongest ninja and the hero of the whole Shinobi world. And after death, I found myself here, in a completely different world with preserved memories from the past world. Kurama also remained in my body. Or rather, in the soul.

This world is completely different from my old Shinobi world. He's more... calm. Yes, there are conflicts, but they are far away and do not seem to concern me at all…

'Why did you do that?' Kurama asked me, ignoring my displeased remark about my name.

However, I have been repeating this to him for more than five years, so it is unlikely that he will change his habit… I think I should also put up with it and not pay attention anymore.

'What's the big deal? Isn't it possible to help someone in need? And it's not difficult for me at all ... ' I answered him, massaging my tired shoulder.

'That's not what I'm talking about...' the red fox waved his paw, 'Remember what we decided when we arrived here?'

Hearing this question, I was silent for a while, but then, closing my eyes, I answered with a sigh.

'We decided that we would live a quiet peaceful life of a simple person. No battles, wars and ninjas...' I replied monotonously, continuing to walk on the way home.

'That's right... ' red fox nodded, 'You carry a kunai with you, you are wearing a chainmail T-shirt and you are helping the "ghosts". If we have decided to live in peace and tranquility, then why are you holding on to the old world?'

That girl wasn't exactly "ordinary" either. She was the ghost of a girl who had recently died near that very pillar. And the bottle with the flower was an offering for her.

Yes, I'm a guy who can see ghosts, just like I can see any other person. People don't see ghosts, but I had this special ability from the very beginning of my "new" life. I don't know where she came from, but she was always with me — all sixteen years.

'Hey Kurama, where do you think I got this ability to see ghosts from?' I asked my inner demon, changing the subject.

'We've already discussed this so many times, ha~...' the old fox reacted to the change of topic with a long and exhausted sigh, 'After you made a deal with the "God of Death" in Jodo, he sent your soul to be reborn into another world and into a new body. Well, since our souls have been tied to each other for a long time because of "that" technique, I stayed inside your soul. It took me five whole years to continuously accumulate the Chakra in order to awaken, and four more years to awaken your memories already. The ability to see spirits belongs to this new body.' he muttered an explanation with displeasure.

'But is it true?.....' I scratched the back of my head, 'Although yes, I feel somehow uncomfortable without the Chakra...'

'Because of that incident, all three hundred and sixty-one tenketsu in your body are not just closed now, they are all sealed. Because of this, you will not be able to collect the Chakra, because you need the Chakra itself to open the tenketsu.' the huge fox swapped his paws, then put his muzzle on them again and continued talking, 'The people of this world will not help you, because they differ from the people of the Shinobi world by their lack of Chakra, which is logical, since there was no "Mad Goddess" who could eat the "Forbidden Fruit" or the "Shinobi God" who would spread the basis for ninjutsu around the world. And did Shinju ever exist in this world? No matter. Anyway, there is no ninjutsu in this world, there is no Shinobi...' Kurama said with a certain note of melancholy in his voice, 'I am a Kubi, the strongest of the parts of Jubi, I own an incredibly huge supply of Chakra. And unlike people, they can't take it away from me. That's just it took me nine whole years to accumulate that grain of Chakra in order to awaken us. It will take a hundred years, maybe even more, to collect enough to open all your tenketsu.'

'This is not an option...' I made a face.

'In general, since this world developed without a Chakra, there is no one here who could help you.'

'Well, even though I already know the secret of the Chakra, without tenketsu there is no use, which means I can only rely on you, my friend...' I smiled tightly and self-critically. 'I had to work hard to open the first three tenketsu by force in seven years after awakening. And with each subsequent tenketsu, it's bec…mes more and more difficult to do this, and the amount of time to open them also increases… '

According to my calculations with Kurama, it will take eight years to open the next, fourth tenketsu, and sixteen years to open the fifth. I don't know about the others, but I can't open them faster without a Chakra, and with tenketsu closed, I can't release the Chakra. A vicious circle turned out…

By the opening of the fifth tenketsu, I will already be forty years old, and therefore, when I remember that there are more than three hundred tenketsu in my body… I want to cry…

'You're lucky…' the fox gritted his teeth. 'You only have tenketsu sealed, and I am again wearing eight trigrams sealing style, which is stronger than the previous one. Because of this seal, I can transfer the Chakra to you very slowly and in very small quantities, as if through a straw, which is why the process of opening your tenketsu is so long…'

'And without the key to the seal, of course, we are stuck…' I summed up.

Only with the help of Kurama I can use the Chakra, or rather I use his Chakra. Let's say the Chakra can be measured in units and in a year Kurama is able to give me a hundred units of Chakra, which was enough to open the first tenketsu. The second one took two hundred units, while the third one took all four hundred. On the fourth, eight hundred Chakra units will be needed, whereas on the fifth, more than a thousand. And this is if we also take into account the fact that I will only accumulate Chakra without using it…

From such prospects, you want to bang your head against the wall … However, it's of no use if the amount of Chakra collected in a year is not enough even to climb a tree without hands…

Result: I can't reproduce the Chakra on my own, and even though Kurama can give me a little of…is, with tenketsu closed, I can only keep it in my body and accumulate it. In simple words, physically, I am now an ordinary person who can see ghosts.

'That's why we decided to live an ordinary, quiet life. There are no wars and no Shinobi here. Our battle has already ended. We got the right to rest. You deserve a rest.' the old fox demon concluded, 'And this world does not need a hero somehow. You should have realized it yourself after so many years…'

'You're right, Kurama… You're …right.'

'I'm always right!' he laughed loudly, and then put his muzzle on his paws again.
