The Movement.

The next few weeks were very busy for the boys. Towns were reaching out for aid, people were always complaining, and it seemed the entire forest was falling apart. In the mean time, Evan appointed someone to watch over all the problems of the forest. Evan also implemented new roles. There's now a few treasurer's and secretaries. He made the boys presidents of The Legion, but everyone talks to the vice president, who is the same man who watches over all the towns and people. They call him The Watcher, but to the boys, he's Kyle. "What do you need me to do now?" Kyle grumbled. "I've been working around the clock for two weeks now." Chris glared at him, "I get that, but drop the attitude. I came here to drop this off, should help with stress, energy and better work ethic." Chris told him and set the small container on his desk. "Oh thank you. These will help tremendously!" He exclaimed. Chris waved his hand as he walked out of his office, which is the remodeled area that the previous leaders were in. It was now white and has been remolded to have people working in that area. The room had about twenty to twenty five desks in it, and it still had room along the walls that were lined with bookshelves, filing cabinets and paintings. They put in blue carpet with white streaks in it. Chris walked out into the hallway that was still being remolded to have offices along the wall. There were workers that said hi as Chris walked past them. He greeted them back. He got into the living quarters. They didn't do much work beside give everyone curtains. They wanted that room to feel more or less the same so that people could keep at least some normalcy. Suddenly a man came running up to Chris. "Sir! Evan needs to speak with you, it's urgent." Chris nodded and ran with the man. He brought him into Evans office. Evan was sat there, with Dean and Dakota already there. "Hey man, everything good?" Chris said walking into the office. "Yeah, Kyle just told me there's a real stingy town that we gotta take care of, but I don't want to deal with people." "Alright, then why not send someone?" Chris asked. "I did, but they couldn't enter the town, they demanded the leader." Evan responded. "Kyle?" Chris asked. "He's way to busy. We gotta do it." Evan groaned and stood up. He walked them outside where a couple of wagons were parked in front of them. "This is what we gotta take to the town. If you look over there," Evan told them, pointing infront of the boys, "You can see the smoke, that's where we're going." Evan told them. The smoke wasn't to far away, probably a days walk, but that didn't matter as Evan teleported them and the carts. It was very large. "It's a major trade capital. Kyle said this would be a great place to be partnered with, because trade would go through us then." The other boys nodded. They started to walk, but a man stepped infront of them. "What's your business here?" He asked them in a demanding tone. "We wanted to discuss some sort of peace or agreement. The Legion..." "The Legion huh?" The man cut Evan off, "The last time I heard that name was in the midst of battle. The Legion does not belong here and it never will. Be gone!" He yelled at them. Evan nodded, "At least take our supplies. Leadership has changed, we just wanted to let out a hand." He told the man before teleporting them out of there. "This is why I don't do people." Evan groaned. They walked in, and Evan walked to his office. "Does he ever do any work in there?" Chris asked Dakota. "No, him and Dean usually just mess around the entire time." Chris nodded, "I'm bored, these past few weeks have been very boring. Why do we even have to stay here, why can't we be out and about again." Chris whined. "You know what Kyle said, he needs us to be here while everything is changing, once that's done, were out of here. But still representing The Legion of course." Chris sighed and sat down at a table in the newly constructed cafeteria. Chris crossed his arms on the table and put his chin on his arms. "What's there to do here?" "Not much." Dakota said. "I'm going to go and grab a soda, you want anything?" Dakota asked. "You know what, yeah, I'll take a monster bite." Dakota nodded and walked into the rather long line. There was a rather large crowd in the cafeteria, but what do you expect, it is a cafeteria after all. Chris looked over to his right, and watched as the guys that made fun of Evan pushed a girl over, making her fall to the ground spilling her food everywhere. He watched as no one did anything, a they did was watch as they continued to throw insults and abuses at her. Chris groaned and got up. He walked over to them. "Hey, what's the big idea?" Chris asked. Everyone went quiet when he spoke. One person gasped. "Chris?" The man laughed, the same one who laughed at Evan. "You look like nothing, look at your arms! Weak, pathetic." Chris looked at him, he was the classic bad guy, beefy, tall, and a far to chiseled jawline. He glared at him for a second longer, "Who are you?" Chris asked, almost making fun of him. Someone in the crowd chuckled. The man turned red with anger. "What's stopping me from beating you right now?" He yelled. Chris laughed, "Probably the fact that you can't." He looked even more upset. Suddenly he started to calm down. "You know what, I shouldn't even waste my time with you. Any of my goons could destroy you. I want to face Evan, I've been training my whole life just so I can run this company, and now Evan has the gull to take that from me? He will pay." He yelled. "Oh yeah? I'd like to see you try." Chris heard from behind him. "Why not a battle, huh?" Evan yelled. "It could become our grand event!" Then it clicked in Evans head, "You the chief of the defenders, and I'm the leader of the guardians. The Defenders vs The Guardians." The man laughed, "I like that idea." After tweaking out rules and dates, it was done. The first annual Legion battle would be taking place in the coming week, and the guardians has alot to prepare.
