Chapter 49: Throw me to the wolves

The two of us were in my apartment when Linc got the call from Robin. At first, I’d only wanted to change into something more practical than my gown, but after that pleasant conversation, I needed something I’d be able to fight in. Running shoes, jeans, and t-shirt.
Linc had an easier time, she just ripped off most of her dress’s skirt.
We were in Linc’s car now and heading into Manhattan while she explained what was going on to me.
Robin had Felix taken to our penthouse where the plan was to hold him until the rest of my followers could be gathered. After that, the plan was to move him to Central Park’s Delacorte Theater for his execution.
“His WHAT!?” I practically shouted in Linc’s face as she finished.
“Don’t yell at me!” she protested. “I shifted twice this evening. Wolf hearing is still on.”
