Love is complicated. It’s something that takes time and patience to cultivate. Something that needs to be earned. To the young witch Jessica White, love is something that can and should be acquired using magic. Chapter 15: Social Climbing

I thought the feeling of cloud infinity would fade after a while.

But no.

It’s been a week, and I’m still walking around on clouds. But staying on the clouds is easy when you’re the envy of every other girl on campus.

Robin and I walked through the hallways of campus, his arm wrapped around my shoulders. The school had a different feel to it now. Or, more realistically, I was the one who was different.

People had never noticed me before, except for Felix, Linc, and finally Robin, and I doubt most people hadn’t noticed when Hoodie Girl disappeared. But just like Cinderella, they certainly noticed the mysterious, beautiful woman who had appeared at the dance and promptly stole Robin’s heart.

But is it really stealing if I’m just taking what should have been mine to begin with?
