Mount Jirisan
Hye Won stopped her car for a moment. It's still raining lightly. She slid down the window glasses and looked outside. Indeed it is them. Kookie and Titli. She took a deep breath. "FOR GOD'S SAKE HYE WON! SHE IS NOT AN ORPHAN! STOP THIS NONSENSE". Mr Choi yelled.
Hye won couldn't speak as tears started forming in her eyes. She looked at her father with trembling lips.
Mr Choi never shouted at her only daughter. He calms down soon after looking at the glistening eyes of her daughter. Hye won is his obedient, smart, calm, composed daughter; The brilliant Heir of Choi Publication. She never lets him down. Being the elder of their family Hye won took all the responsibility on her shoulder at a very young stage.
"She is the only daughter of your late uncle seojun." Mr Choi informed.
Hye won was shocked but collected herself soon. Uncle seojun was like a cool soothing breeze in her desert-like life.
"The business meeting was important for us. I was informed that one schoolgirl wanted to meet you, I didn't know at that time who was waiting. I am extremely sorry sir. " Hye won spoke in a low yet firm voice.
"I will take my leave now sir." she bowed and left the cabin.
"Ma'am...Ma'am"... Hye won brought back to reality by her chauffeur.
"Ma'am, shall we go?" He asked again.
"Wait a minute." Hye won come out from the car.
"I guess you guys are enjoying your quality time." Hye won said looking at kookie and Titl in her usual way, sharp, polished yet firm way.
The love bird was startled by the appearance of Hye Won. Since Titli is not on good terms with her, she was kind of uncomfortable. But kookie greeted her with his bunny smile.
"Noona...are you here for dumplings?"
"No. But are the dumplings here good?"
"Yes".
"Fine, we will pack for home." Hye won went to the shop owner for ordering.
Titli was looking at her with deep thought. She knows Hye won has a soft spot for her brat brother. And this kookie loves to be a brat in front of her.
"She is still the same" Titli sighed.
"Yep, cold like Mount Jirisan!" Kookie chuckled.
After paying for the flood Hye won returned to them.
"Get inside the car. We are heading home anyway. I will send someone to pick up your bike from here." She announced.
There is something in Hye won voice that no one can deny her. Both kookie and Titli get into the car like obedient kids.
"To the Choi Mansion," Hye won ordered.
Chauffer nods and heads to their destination.
Titli was silent throughout their journey. She understands the calm yet sharp gaze of Hye won is falling on her from time to time. But how can this dumb kookie not understand his sister? Sometimes she wondered if they are really siblings or not.
They are now standing in front of the Choi Mansion. After seven years, Titli will enter. Once upon a time, Titli knew about every small corner of this mansion. Is everything still the same? Her last memory of this place was not very good.
"Let's go". Kookie holds her hand strongly and pulls her inside the house. Hye won's lips curved by her brother's behaviour. She went to her room without sparing any glance at any of the members.
"Titli!" Mrs Choi was overjoyed by the sudden appearance of Titli at the mansion.
Titli ran to her and hugged her tightly.
"Eomma!" she sniffled, she missed this warmth a lot.
"Noona gave us a ride." kookie is now on cloud nine. Now Titli can come here anytime without any hesitation, just like in the past.
Mrs Choi couldn't believe that Hye won brought them here. She has no idea what's going on inside her daughter's head, she doesn't even want to know. She just wants to live in this moment where her Titli and kookie are standing in front of her, happy and safe.
