"Remember that no matter what this matter shouldn't reach the third person's eye. I will take care of the hospital people. I will erase your records of the job and your previous certificates will be sealed. No one should know a thing except the three of us in the room" Victor asserted for one more time.

"What if your fiancee never returns? What will happen to me then?" Mia questioned.

Victor who had no answer to that question looked at Travis for help but he too held the same confused expression as Victor.

"She will be here in few days, you don't need to worry about that" Victor assured her even though he was unsure about the happening of such thing.

"What if she doesn't?" Mia questioned unsure of her future.

"Then we will find one or another way, that is not the thing we should be worrying about right now" Victor tried changing the topic.

"It might not be important to you, but it is most important to me. I have a life, by Almighty's grace my husband might start reacting to treatment soon, what will I do if he becomes normal? How am I going to answer him? How long should I be living as a doppelganger of someone who is in every way different from what I am?" Mia was serious while questioning.

"Your husband is not suffering from a cough or cold, that he will make an entry. He slipped into coma six months back and is suffering from Chronic obstructive Pulmonary disease with several complications. His body is not reacting to any medicine. You know that it is almost impossible at this stage"

"How dare you speak like that?" Mia clutched Victor's collar.

Travis was about to pull her back but Victor signaled him to stop.

"Mia, calm down. I am just presenting the truth we both know. Didn't you hear from the doctors that treating him is nothing but a waste of time and money? Yet I am willing to do that, I put the best people on your husband's case. All I want you to know is that it is not going to be easy" Victor saw how her grip loosened on his collar.

"Whatever time it may take, I can't keep living as your wife even if it is an act. I need to know how long it will go" Mia questioned directly.

"Six months. If Hazel returns before that it is well and good, even if she doesn't return after six months you are free to leave and you won't have any strings attached. I will officially divorce you citing some reasons, but a minimum of six months is needed. If your husband gets well in this period, I will talk to him and make him understand. You don't have to worry about that. I am telling you time and again, I will pay for your husband's treatment, I will take care of your expenses, I won't trouble you in any way. All I need is you taking place of Hazel" Victor cleared what he needed.

"So he is the one who will chart our agreement?" Mia pointed towards Travis, to which Victor nodded.

"I want both of us to have a clear agreement on what you expect and what I want" Mia didn't look up all the time.

Victor was unable to avert his eyes from the girl who was standing strong against her fear just for her husband.

"Ladies first," Victor said taking a seat beside Mia on the same couch.

"Why are you sitting beside me?" Mia made a quick jump out of the couch.

"We are supposed to be wife and husband before the whole world, prepare yourself to be touched by me" Victor was straight on point.

"Are you crazy? How can you ask a married woman to stay in physical relation with you? How could you be so shameless?" Mia spat at him.

"You need to open your brain along with your ears, neither I want to have any physical relation with you, nor do I need that. But as I said earlier, I am supposed to marry Hazel in a week. So we are going to be married and I feel I don't need to explain to a married woman what takes place in a marriage" Victor looked at Mia straight, which made Mia immediately look down.

"You mean, I have to kiss you before everyone?" Mia framed each and every word with difficulty.

"That's the rule right?" Victor sounded cold. Mia was unable to understand how can he be totally okay with kissing a stranger?

"Doesn't he have any feelings for his fiancee? How can he sound pretty casual about the marriage?" Mia thought to herself.

"Don't think too much, except for the wedding kiss, I won't ever do any such thing, but I remember we have to walk hand in hand a hell lot of times, get ready for that" Victor ordered her.

"What if someone catches me?" Mia questioned petrified.

"In this span of six days, you will be trained enough to look manageable, you will have to imbed the qualities of Hazel. The Royal etiquettes, the rules will be taught to you all you need to do is managing without being caught, I will be with you most of the time, and we will shift to my personal mansion after marriage so that you won't be answerable to every question and you can have your freedom. As you will be in the place of Hazel, the daughter-in-law of The Royal Family, you can't be working anywhere" Victor's every word made Mia more petrified.

"This is not as easy as it sounds, please leave me" Mia requested though she knew he won't do that.

"For sure, but if you want me to leave you in that case even you have to leave hopes on your husband's life" Mia was not surprised now as she expected this from him.

Though she didn't know anything about him or why he was so adamant about the wedding taking place, she understood that he too have some vulnerabilities just like her.

"Dear Psycho, if my husband is my vulnerability, your fiancee is your vulnerability, if you are going to play with me using my vulnerability, I am not going to take a back step" Mia smirked to herself finding a way.
