Start of Negotiation

"What happened to your fiancee? Where is she?" Mia posed the question to which Victor had no answer.

"That's confidential, but she will be back soon. You don't have to worry. Once she returns I will shift you away to another country along with your husband providing you with everything, which will be enough for you to lead a peaceful life" Victor negotiated.

"So, you won't let me know any information but you will spy on all my life and collect about everything?" Mia questioned him back.

"Mia, this is not the time for the fight. We have very little time and I don't want to waste it on banters. As I said, I am willing to aid you. It will be better if you put forth your demands" Victor was surprisingly controlling himself before her.

After contemplating everything Victor said Mia was unable to come to a decision. Her mind was against this, she feared deceiving her lawfully wedded husband. Though she never received anything from that relation, she was tied with him. The guilt of committing a sin started eating her from inside.

"Mia, we are waiting" Travis tapped his foot.

"I can't do this" Mia didn't meet their eyes.

"What do you mean by you can't do this? What are we asking for? I just want you to act for a few days and I am willing to give you as much as you demand. What is the problem?" Victor questioned.

"You want me to be your wife Mr., you are expecting me to marry you in the place of your fiancee before the whole world. I am a married woman and getting married to another while I am still in a legally wedded relationship is a sin. That kind of people are called with other names" tears slipped from her eyes.

"You are thinking too much, there is nothing wrong with what we are doing. We are doing it for our people. It will be a secret and once things get back to normal we will part our ways. Trust me, this will be benefitting both of us" Victor tried to get her nod.

Even though Victor tried his best, Mia was unable to change her mind. The conservative way in which she grew up in not helping her either, though she knew her life will be changed after this she was unable to change her decision.

"It's a no from my side, I need to go" Mia tried moving but Victor gripped her hand.

"I am not letting you go, I tried being patient with you don't take advantage of that. You are going to do this" Victor stated gripping her hand tight.

"I can't commit a sin," Mia announced.

"Even if that sin helps you in saving the life of your ailing husband?" Victor quizzed.

Mia was trapped between her need and the guilt of committing a sin. Victor smirked looking at her restlessness knowing that her reply will be in his favour.

"I have some rules," Mia murmured.

"So do I" Victor smiled with relief.

"I am scared" Mia trembled.

"Don't be. We both are in his together. Your lies will stay safe with me and I expect the same for my lies. The truth of our relationship should stay safe no matter what. Remember, it's our vulnerabilities and lies which bind us," Victor briefed in a calm tone which sent shivers down her spine.

"Can't wait to live with you wifey" Victor winked to ease Mia.

"So do I dear husband" Mia replied with confidence.

That one word from her brought him all the happiness.

"You took a good decision, I promise you that everything regarding your husband will be taken care of and you need to resign from both your jobs," Victor declared.

"Who are you to say that? How will I live without a job?" Mia questioned.

"Didn't you hear anything he said? He will be giving you whatever amount you want" Travis replied to her query.

"You can't buy me with money, it's enough that you are going to get my husband treated. I don't need anything more than that, I am willing to continue my job, it's not something which should be looked down at" Mia's confident reply scored well with Victor, who quickly hid his smile.

"Do you think the heiress of a Royal family would be working as a receptionist in the morning and driving a cab all overnight to get some extra income? You are not going to be Mia Jannison, you will be taking the place of Hazel Wesley who will be Hazel Cunningham in a week, get used to being called as Mrs. Cunningham" Victor ordered.

The name Mrs. Cunningham made Mia experience a hell lot of different things, she was shocked and confused at the same time.

"I have a few rules, you should abide by it no matter what" Mia stated.

"So do I, it will be better if we draft them and sign it in the presence of a trustworthy party" Victor smiled.

"You are deliberately doing this knowing that I won't have anyone to support me right?" Mia shrieked.

"No, I actually brought Travis for this. I want him not to be partial towards any of us"

"Wow, the one who didn't hesitate a second to pull the trigger on my forehead for speaking against you will be the witness? What an Irony" Mia chuckled.

"If you have a problem with him, you can bring the people you trust" Victor shrugged.

Mia seriously thought about the people in her life whom she can trust and she found none. Not at all surprising for the girl who mostly lived all by herself.

"Just write them down" Mia didn't look up knowing that both the men would be smirking at her defeated plight.

"Remember that no matter what this matter shouldn't reach the third person's eye. I will take care of the hospital people. I will erase your records of the job and your previous certificates will be sealed. No one should know a thing except the three of us in the room" Victor asserted for one more time.
