Start of a Battle

"Dear Psycho, if my husband is my vulnerability, your fiancee is your vulnerability, if you are going to play with me using my vulnerability, I am not going to take a back step" Mia smirked to herself finding a way.

"Would love to know the reason behind your stupid smirk" Victor commented when he observed how Mia's face started glowing all of a sudden.

"My first rule, no meddling into one other personal matters. Individual privacy is the most important thing. No one has a right to question the other" Mia spoke looking at Travis.

"A small correction, as much as individual privacy is respected. There should be a clause of being responsible. You should understand that we both need to be very careful if we don't want to get caught. So, if you don't want me to ask you out any questions, you shouldn't do anything that makes you answerable. You can't just do the things you wish, I need to know about every step you are willing to take. I am the one who will be answerable to all" Victor's words made no sense to Mia and further angered her.

"Do you think I am your slave? Why should I live according to your wishes, you said that I can't be working anywhere as your so-called Royal family's grace gets disgraced. But I can't sit idle like that, I need to earn for my living and I don't need your permission for everything. I understand that secrecy is important, I won't do anything that might trouble you but always keep it in your mind that you hold no rights on me" Mia spat against him.

"Okay stop it you guys, stop it right now. I think both of you need to cool down. The sun is going to rise in a few hours, you both take a rest and we can discuss this with a clear mind tomorrow. Now let's go from here" Travis screamed at both of them when their fight increased to no bounds.

None of them took a back step and threw daggers at one another.

"Victor, at least you listen to me. We have to look after many more things, for God's sake calm down. We can do this tomorrow, she needs rest. Before that she needs to be treated for the rashes, her neck got swollen. You both calm down, I will call a doctor" Travis pressed Victor's shoulder to step back signaling that they need to calm down.

Understanding Travis's signal Victor calmed himself down, and Travis called a medic to aid Mia's wounds.

"Madam, please come with us" the lady doctor gave a sweet smile to Mia, who didn't return that.

"She is here to help you, the wounds might turn worse by morning. She is a renowned dermatologist" Victor assured Mia who was unsure.

"Follow me Madam" the lady doctor gave a bright smile, having no option left Mia reluctantly followed her.

"Are they paining?" the doctor questioned dressing Mia's wounds.

"No, they are giving me pleasure" Mia mocked Victor who is standing a few feet away from her.

Victor looked remorseful for the act he did, his fingerprints on her neck were clearly visible on her milky white skin.

"Are they deep?" Victor questioned pointing at the nail marks on her neck.

His harsh tone made Mia turn red in anger.

"Sadly, the nail marks are imprinted deeply. I will give her a medicine" the lady doctor smiled.

"Do anything but they need to be buried down under her skin within three days" Victor's tone conveyed the order.

"Yes Sir, I will look at that…" the doctor was about to complete her talk but Mia yelled even before that.

"Thank you dear psycho, for proving me wrong for one more time. Here I was thinking you to be remorseful of the things you did, but know all you are worried is about saving your ass" Mia screamed at Victor.

Though Victor is keeping his calm with Mia, she was beyond frustrated to see that someone is cashing on her vulnerabilities and playing with her life as he wants; whereas she can't even get her chart down her own rules.

Victor smiled at the lady doctor and pulled Mia's hand that made her jump out of the chair. Tucking the strands of hair at the back of Mia's ear, Victor came a little closer to her, which sent a different feeling all over her body.

"Don't forget that the one who can get your husband treated can get him killed too" Victor warned Mia with a sweet smile

Though his intention is to scare her, it made Mia feel a different kind of sensation inside her.

"What the hell am I feeling inside? What is this? What is moving in my stomach? Why is his voice doing something to me? Is it because I didn't eat anything or is it because I am warned by a psycho?" Mia's self questionnaire didn't end.

She was unable to look straight into the eyes of Victor, who is looking straight into her soul without even blinking. His eyes screamed a warning

Mia didn't speak any further and let the doctor treat her, in a few minutes Mia felt dizzy and leaned back on the chair, letting her sleep engulf her.

"Finally..." victor breathed a sigh of relief.

"Don't be too relieved, if she gets to know it's not her sleeplessness but the medicine that made her dizzy you are going to get an earful" Travis chuckled at Victor.

Victor paid no heed to Travis but kept staring at Mia.

"What are you thinking?" Travis questioned Victor.

"We are so busy dealing with her, we didn't even think how Mia is an exact doppelganger of Hazel? We need whole information about this girl, since her birth. Make sure no one gets an idea about anything and the most important thing, don't stop searching for Hazel. We need to find her by hook or crook. We need to know what, why, and how it happened" the seriousness behind Victor's words was clearly understood by Travis, his only trusted aid.
