Chapter 31: To Victory

Arc: The Magic Championship 

Zeke did very well in the first game , he was the shine of the game , I guess we can win this championship . 

While the first game  had ended , the second game was about to end as well , Nichole was the chosen member in this game .  

Host : " In this game we got 20 hard questions in the box beside each competitor, with limited time , competitors may use any encyclopedia one time only , the answers should be written in the black bored , so it can be seen by the audience. " 

Nichole , talking to herself , looking at the bored :" 5 more questions to go , and I already used my bracelet , I just hope the other questions are easier .... without those Licrimas flying above I would have finished by now .  " 

Before the game starts , Nichole was reading her encyclopedia concentrically  from her bracelet , then she bumped into Farsto , who was in front of her .

Farsto : " You really do understand these things ?" 

Nichole: " Sort of, there are some symbols that are not familiar to me yet , like this one here . "

 Farsto: "The one with the flag shape means Joy , the cross shape means gift. " 

Nichole: " Thanks , I can understand the other parts easily now . " 

Host: " The game will end in , 10, 9, 8.."

Nichole :" I sure know this last question ."

A boy runs and rings the winning bell , the host checks the boy's answer ,though two questions were wrongly solved , Nichole rings the bell quickly  .

Ayami: Is she done?"

Tom: " I cannot watch ." 

The host , as he marched to her bored , reads the answer :" We have a winner , team orange wins ! "

Christine , surprised:" We won!"

Tom:" Yeah, that's Nichole for you , accuracy and speed together. "  

Nichole :" Thank you , let's check  on Lasto , her game is next door ."

Lasto was competing  in fast eating game , since there were only four competitors left including her . Jason , Marissa and Zeke were already there , cheering for her . 

Nichole: "Hey Zeke!...how was it , your game. "

Zeke: "A pice of cake ." 

Tom amazed: Oy!...she's ..she's good ."

Jason:" She ate four fill plates of sweets . "

Marissa : " And there are two more to go ."

Jason:" No, she just ate the last plate now ."

Christine  :" And she is still thin !" 

Jason:" Is that what amazed you ?!"

Lasto, as she floats on her rubber ball  :"Oh !...Lasto is filled . "

Marissa:" Don't you think that the games are starting at the same time ." 

Master Valko :" It might be  an order form the military , they need to make sure that the games go without problems . "

Jason: " Where have you been , old man ?"

Master Valko , moves his hand fan:" I was working."

Ayami:" You were buying stuff for Yuno ."

Tom:" I'm not grabbing any big at all ." 

Lasto pulls Christine enthusiastically: " Lasto wants to see Farsto in the sniping game ."

Christine: " Alright , alright !" 

Nichole, as she spotted someone familiar :" Is that....Greed!"

She went to the see Greed  in a sandy wide yard with Jason, Tom, Marissa , Zeke and the Master . 

Jason: " It is him ."

Host: " Pull the tape game , an interesting competitive game that depends on the speed of the reaction , the competitors must ride on a Lama and  pull each others tape which is tied on their heads  while protecting their own , the one who earns more tapes wins the game ."

Greed as he screams happily , pushing the players by his fighting stick and stealing their tapes: " Take this , and that , haha ... you deserve it ." 

Ayami:" He's meaner than ever ."

However , there was a person who obstructs Greed's way . A young blond hair man, He has a few freckles below his eye, dazzling his handsome with his brown eyes as the color of the wood, wearing a black tracksuit with flash orange thick stripe in his trouser. The boy was chasing Greed form the start and he had the chance to take Greed's tapes as he stretches his hand Greed grabbed him and felt a string scary aura from him , Greed then falls off his Lama when the ending bullet was shot .

The boy , staring at Greed :" I win . "  

Marissa , waves to Greed:" Over here."

Greed: "It's easy to win this way ."

Zeke:" That's why you were in second ."

Greed:" Like you should be talking ."

" Good job Owen." Said a man from another team . 

Owen:" This is the feeling when you get the victory , people who win it meanly will never feel it this way. " 

Greed , approaching to him :" Hey you ! ... don't barge a lot , the championship is still going ."

Owen: " Are you trying to win the championship this basely , you are facing a team won the championship three times and gently ."

Greed, wants to punch him:" You won't stop barging then , let me try and shut that mouth of yours ."

Jason , holds his fist which was close to Owen's face :" Pull your self together ."

Greed: "Get out of my way . "

It is still non where Christine and Lasto were watching Farsto's sniping game when Ayami joined with the others .

Ayami:" How is Farsto doing?"

Christine:" Farsto , has the highest advantage to win , he is talented , he overthrows six teams with a bullet each. "

Zeke:" Seriously ?! " 

 Host 1:" Look at that boy , he is shouting on his way through the ring , not to mention his accuracy and speed ."

Host 2:" Waite , there are three team members remaining , one of them had the gold medal in sniping from the military . "

Host 1: " You do know a lot I see."

Host 2: " Yes, I do , so then who's going to be in first place."  

Tom: " It's a paintball game !"

Lasto yells :" NO!.... It is a survival game , each team gets a specific amount of bullets , and shout each other , when three players remain , a countdown starts, whereas the player must get the flag which is in the middle of the ring to win. "

In the ring ,Farsto was hiding behind a sand barrier , talking to himself: " Okay, one is behind that wooden barrier while another player is at 12 o'clock  , who makes the first move , will defiantly get shot ."

Farsto as he fills the gun with bullets:" I'm going to win this , it is my victory ... Measurement lens!"

After saying his words ,his green light eyes turns to lenses that measures the distance accurately , he looked around , fired a bullet towards a signboard , then reverberate to the man who is in front of him .   

Jason ardently :" Ha ..have you seen the direction of his shot?! "

Zeke:" Yeah, what an odd magic "

Greed:" We weren't the only one who is amazed , look ."

Greed pints to Owen's team as the were standing in shock without a word spelled out of them , after their  teammate was out of the game .

Owen :" This is astounding accuracy ."

Owen spotted the legendary team staring at him , when his expression has changed :" Not bad , for a beginner  . "

Greed: " How an arrogant !."

Marissa:" It is Farsto against the Corporal Seth ."

Farsto and the corporal speed out to the middle of the ring while shouting each other .

Farsto:" No worries, I'll avoid them all ."

Seth:" Don't be so sure."

He said as he appears behind Farsto and shout him , Farsto rolled quickly and obviate the bullet as a result, he twisted his leg , though he was able to shoot Seth in his arm and both retreated .  

Farsto:" Great , I've three bullets left ."

" GAME OVER! " Screams the host . 

Lasto:" Farsto , are you alright?"

Farsto: " I'm okay, it's just a little twist ."

Jason joyfully :" That was amazing my friend ."

Farsto gingerly :" Oh, that was ..."

Marissa:" Let's have our lunch now before the final game ."

Tom: " Finally , we can eat ....Greed!"

Greed :" Oh , yes, let's eat ."

Zeke:" don't let that boy's words influence you ."

Greed:" Like I care ."

One of the red team (Owen's team ) :" We got one more game to win and get the money for our village , will you participate in it Owen ....Owen! . "  

Owen:" Sorry , I was thinking of the orange team ."

A member of his team:" Don't worry , we can handle them , look at that girl in the food stall ."

Owen:" Oh, she is cute , that red short hair , those wonderful eyes .... that's life man ." 

Christine walks towards Marissa :" Let me help you ." 

Then she stared at Owen with a dreadful face which then scared him . 

Owen , as he puts his hand on his head :" She ruined the view."

Our legendary team now are sitting down on their mat , having lunch with the beautiful weather and the sunny sun . 

Tom:" The meat is so fresh ."

Zeke:" This is delicious , did you bake those pies Christine ?"

Christine:" Yes ,the Takoyaki I buy it just now.  "

Ayami:" So, what is the last game ?"

Farsto:" It's called the dungeon sequence race ."

Zeke:" As I heard the game has three different stages , land ,water and air ."

Master Valko:" One of the members will be selected and locked in a cage suspended in the sky by a lock that has a wing, the other members pass the key from the land  to the  water and finally over the sky before time runs out and the cage falls." 

Greed:" That's sounds interesting ."

All screamed:" No ,it isn't ."

Marissa:" And who's gonna be in this game ."

Farsto:" Me of course , and Lasto as well ."

Lasto:" I knew you would say that and I refuse that ." 

Farsto : " Don't talk with your mouth full ."

Jason:" Lasto is right , you are injured ."

Farsto:" But.."

Nichole : " With no discussion , take a rest , you've guided us the whole day . "

Christine , as she drinks her tea :" Farsto , why are we joining this team did you forget ?.... we are here to prove to you how strong we are , still five of us didn't participate in any game . "

Nichole smiling :" Christine ."

Christine:" What , it's just my opinion ."

Master Valko:" Jason, Christine , Ayami , Marissa and Tom , the team is counting on you . "
