Chapter 32:Sequence Dungeon Race Part1

Arc: The Magic Championship 

Focus ..... please .... focus .... I must save her ..... save someone I care about  a lot ... please just this time ..... lend  me your power . Arc: The Magic Championship

At the main army headquarters ( The fourth ) Lieutenant Colonel Locus : " Welcome back Major Lloyd ."

Lloyd: " I would say I'm happy that I'm back, what made you come here Locus ?"

Locus:" The squad training term has ended and I can't believe you still not calling me with my rank .

Lloyd : " You are just Locus for me ."

Locus :" You never change . "  

Colonel Liisa walking with her brother ,Brigadier General Reino :" Yo! "

Locus:" Hello you two , it has been a while ."

Liisa : " It was worse than I thought ."

Lloyd with himself:" Straight to the subject as always ." 

Liisa continues:" The Redeyes, started exploding themselves before we catch one of them . "

Reino:" I heard you went to the great temple , was there anything suspicious ?"

Lloyd:" Only that I found magic residue around which helped me know that they were from the royal dynasty ." 

Locus:" well, the field ceremony is close . We need to concentrate on that ."

Reino:" I almost forget , I heard that the Corporal Seth is participating in this year's championship . "

Lloyd :" How he gets this much free time ?! "

Host 1:" Dear audience , it is finally the final game of the 48 championship ,which is the  dungeon sequence race ."

Host 2: " There are 10 remaining teams out of 16 , for now in first place team red, second is team yellow , third is team pink , fourth is team orange, in fifth place team  brown  , six team blue ,seventh  white , eighth team black , ninth team purple and lastly team green . "

Host 1:" The winner will get 30 points , so any team has the chance to win , may all the participates members get to the starting line after 15 minutes ."

Zeke:" We barely even reached the fourth place ."

Greed angerly:" That red team , change in plan , I'll be in the race ."

Ayami:" Not with that expression on your face ." 

Farsto:" Tom and Jason are in the wagon race and then...."

Tom interrupts :" I think Jason will do better in the waterways , he is talented ."

Jason shyly :" Well, I think I am ."

Farsto: "Then, Ayami and Tom will handle the wagon race , Jason will be in the water and Christine in the air ." 

Ayami:" I'm ready for it ."

Jason:" Let's win this ." 

Lasto:" We will be cheering for you guys and eat more snacks ."

Greed surprised :" We just ate !"

Farsto:" Let my sister alone you bug."

Greed:" Look at your size , freak sister obsessed ."

Farsto:" Do you have a problem with that ?"

Greed: "Yeah, stop looking at me with your ugly eyes."

Zeke , screaming :" Don't fight between me ." 

Nichole:" Where is Marissa?"

Farsto:" For now, she probably yells inside the cage in the air . "

At the end line of the race inside the flying cage with a padlock which has  wings :" You traitors , get me out of here , why I should be in the cage ." 

While the legendary team is heading to their position , the Corporal Seth was consulting with his team. 

Seth:" We are in second place , that red team gonna win for the forth time ."

On of his members:" Sir, this is against the rules ."

Seth:" Listen , you are here to follow orders , I must  win this ."

After 15 mints the 10 teams are in their position , ready to take part in the dudgeon race , the crowds are cheering loudly from the terraces shaking the stadium , the soldiers are separated  around the audience . The championship sponsor seat takes the most space from the stadium, so that the huge  Licrima is floating ,located in the middle of the stadium to cover the final event of the championship and transport it to the whole kingdom. In front of the sponsor platform, is the starting line. The contestants stand in front of the door of an old dungeon ready to start.

Host 1:" The Sequence Dungeon Race , the main event of the championship , three stages and four team members work together to save their teammate ."

Host 2:"This dungeon is considered one of the ancient landmarks that were created by magic users in the past, specifically in the days of the war that took place between magical creatures and magic users. "

Host 1: "They used to imprison fairies, dwarves and other magic creatures, but the matter is different now, after the peace agreement, magic users ,and magical creatures became living in solidarity and security and using  the dungeon to set up this race adding dangerous traps ."  

Host 2:" The first stage , land , two members of each team , one has to pull the wagon while the other rides it , passing the locker key to the next stage . " 

Tom in front the dungeon gate :"Massive ! ... This vehicle is like from the ancient Romans ! "

Ayami inside the wagon:" I have the key with me , ready Tom ?" 

Tom:" I'm ready when you are ."  

Nichole with the others at the terraces :" With Tom's speed , they will definitely win ."

Zeke:" I don't think it's gonna be easy , see those 10 teams there, do you think they will let them pass easily ?" 

Master Valko:" Here is Ayami's turn to prevent them and let Tom move on ."

Farsto:" There they are ."

Nichole:" Isn't that the guy we saw earlier ?... What was his name Owen ?"

Greed:" Yes, that's him , he has the same kind of magic as ours ."

Zeke shocked:" What !"

Farsto:" You felt that too ."

Lasto:" Lasto did feel forbidden aura out of him."

Zeke:" You are saying he is a guardian ?"

" On your marks, get set ...GO!" Screams the host . 

As the bullet launched , Tom reaches out fast entering the dungeon with a confident eye , Tom was in the first place .

Ayami:" Stay with the same speed Tom,  the start will define our destiny."

Tom:" Sure."

Ayami was throwing water balls at the racers which made three racers out and fall into one of the holes in the dungeon's lobby.

Tom:" Well done Ayami ..." 

The two enter the cell quickly and without stopping, and then one of the traps appears, medium gears rolling in the path of the contestants, Tom stands before he splits by one of the gears and becomes in third place.

Tom:" That was close ."

Ayami :" Be careful Tom , there are three more lines of gears  straight  ahead ."

Tom: " I just need the perfect timing ."

He said as he speeds up as fast as he can pass the whole gears , then a they approach a steep bend upstairs .

Tom:" Damn it , I cannot reduce my speed yet, we gonna hit the building's  pillar and fall from the upper floor."

Ayami  takes her water whip and tied it to the pillar with her force, to bend in the right direction while the wheel was about to hit the pillar of the dungeon. Tom runs up the stairs, pulling the wagon and reached to third place again .

Owen ,heading to them :"You are not going any further ."

He prolongs his arm and grabbed Ayami's hands , though she took a sample of water from her bottle and creates a barrier , Owen backs off . A bunch of arrows heading to them when Ayami moved her whip and all the arrows flu away . 

Owen :" I'm too weak with water ."

Tom:" We are about to reach the end , you're okay?!"

He says as he sees the other racers afraid , looking at Tom and Ayami with wordiness faces.

" What was that!"

" Did she used two spells at once ?"

" What kind of magic is this ?"

" I know her , she is Ayami the Golden voice ."

Ayami with herself:" I didn't pay attention to those racers , they will find out who we are ." 

Tom:" Don't worry , I moved to an angle where few racers can see us , be grateful for that."

Ayami:" Thanks Tom ."

Farsto:" They are almost there ."

Nichole:" Forth place , I thought we were in third ?"

Greed:" The red team passed us ."
