The Void

A dim ball of fading light was slowly moving through endless darkness. The ball just moved around endlessly without aim in the void. As more time passes the ball was getting more and more dim till the point it was almost black.

Suddenly the void tore open revealing a humanoid figure. The figure looked bored. It then saw the ball. It snapped two of its fingers.

The dim ball of light soon was exploding with bright light which can even make the sun look dim. After some time the light slowly receded revealing a handsome man.

The man looked confused at first, but after a moment or two snapped out of it looking at the mysterious figure with cautiousness. He was looking like a perfect human, in regards to beauty.

The figure then spoke, "Hey there!" As he said that, a bright light in the shape of an halo formed on his head, and wings made of bright light formed on his back, as he continued, "Hmm… I see that you have questions. I will answer your questions one by o-" he was cut off by Roodra, "So your god. What does a being of your standard have something to do with me?"

'If those novels are correct then this guy will my one way ticket to greatness' Roodra was thinking. At this the being smirked. "You may be right. I will give you 7 wishes and your character customisation and world your born in won't be included in the wishes don't worry.

Roodra looked at the figure with gratitude. He then took some time and said, "Which world would I be born in?" The figure replied, "That would be randomised. Why are you even asking?" Looking visibley confused.

Then I'll save the wishes. I would like to look at the world in which I will reincarnate. The figure sighed and then created a roulette. Roodra then spinned it. It stopped at a world. The figure had a 'I- know-it-already' sort of look.

Then he created a tv-of-sorts in which basic information of that world projected.

This world is a where everyone as a mortal. They can absorb divine energy to evolve to higher beings, ultimately becoming gods. So this is similar to those cultivation novels.

Roodra then started customising his body.
