(Alexandria POV)

Uncrossing my arms, I began to swim towards the fortress noticing immediately that there were some differences between my fortress and the one Superman had in the Man of Steel movie.

First, any and all openings were closed, by what looked like steel plates. Two, there was no entrance, or at least there was no entrance that any normal person would be able to see unless they had some type of X-ray vision, and finally, it was not glowing or sparkling like the original, but that was probably because of the lack of any sun or light.

Using my X-ray vision I looked around for an entrance, noticing that where the front entrance should have been, where now it was just a crystalline wall, a house of El sigil was inscribed in a way or where you had to use X-ray vision to actually see it.

Having watched a lot of detective movies, not to mention being a huge comic fan, I swam there, and put my hand on the crystal wall.

I didn't have to wait long, as once I put my hand where the house of El sigil was, the wall lit up blue, and suddenly the wall turned into a slime-like texture and I was pulled in forcibly.

Stumbling in, before catching myself before I fell on my butt, I looked around noticing that there were no lights on.

Taking off my wet clothes since they were starting to bother me, leaving me only in my bra, and panties, I looked around for an on switch using my infrared vision.

Surprisingly, I found the on switch right next to the wall/slime/entrance thing on the left.

Switching it on, I was hit by everything in what I can estimate 7,065,000 cubic feet ice palace suddenly turning on. Thankfully my eyes were used to looking at the sun itself without any problems so I wasn't blinded by the sudden overexposure of light.

Looking around I noticed a huge computer screen, with multiple smaller screens on each corner, there was a huge white center console under it, with multiple keyboards, and buttons, with a white chair floating centimeters off the ground in front of it.

Floating there because I was too lazy to walk, I sat down on the chair, almost immediately a hologram blinked into existence showing Jor-El in all of his glory.

He looked at me with a raised eyebrow probably from seeing me in my underwear for a second, before he began talking.

"I see that you did as I asked, good job on picking Neptune, I couldn't have picked a better place to hide the fortress," He said congratulating whilst looking prideful at the same time.

"Yeah, yeah I'm a genius blah blah blah. Whatever just answer my question, why was I sent to Earth?" I asked since it seemed like he would have kept going with the whole cryptic mojo he has going on.

Swallowing or at least appearing to be swallowing since he's a hologram and all, and he doesn't need to do that. Jor-El started to finally speak.

"You came from Krypton. A world with a much harsher environment than earth's. Long ago, in the era of expansion, our race spread out through the stars, seeking new worlds to settle upon. We built outposts on other planets, using great machines to reshape environments to our needs. For one hundred thousand years our civilization flourished, accomplishing wonders. There are even multiple scout ship's spread throughout the universe, one is even located on earth." Jor-El began.

"What happened to Krypton?" I asked genuinely curious since for one I didn't find any kryptonite on earth which should happened if the planet had exploded as like it did in the comics and movies.

At this Jor-El looked saddened, and furious at the same time.

"Krypton faced many challenges throughout the eons. Universal wars, Overpopulation, Pollution, coupes, even a war against the Asgardians, yet none of these ever destroyed us as much as our own arrogance did." Jar-El looking saddened stopped for a minute as if to remissness about a time before me.

I didn't interrupt him here, the man lost his world.

Besides I was still rallying from the revelation that Krypton had a war with the Asgardians.

I mean holy shit!

I have so many questions, Why? How? When? Who started it? Who won? Wh-

I was thankfully interrupted before I went into the deep recesses of my mind to try to process what just came out of Jor-El's mouth.

"There was a saying back on Krypton from one of our founding fathers. 'Krypton will never be destroyed from the outside. If we ever are destroyed because we have destroyed ourselves from within.' And my! how right they were. When you were still a toddler, I had made a grave discovery. A solar flare from Krypton's own sun threatened to engulf Krypton and it's masses. Krypton abounded for irreversible destruction, but it wasn't the planet that made Krypton, well? Krypton, it was its people, and it was still possible for us to colonize somewhere else. I brought my concerns to the Kryptonian Science Council, but rather than offer solutions, they politicized the pending travesty and locked themselves in a committee. Before refuting my claims in it's entirely, and branding me as a mentally unstable! " At that Jor-El looked furious, before calming down and continuing.

"No one believed me except for General Zod and few of his soldiers, In the meantime, while the council was busying denying the inevitable, Me, and Lara, your mother were busy building a spaceship to house you off of Krypton in order to ensure your survival." Here Jor-El looked at me and smiled before continuing on.

"While all this was going on, General Zod planned a coup d'etat in his own misguided way of saving Krypton, But by then it was too late. Krypton was already beginning to suffer from the effects of the intense solar radiation, and it was on it's way to being swallowed whole by the sun . As Krypton shook in its death-throes, we placed you in your spaceship with the destination being earth where you would be a god. " Jor-El said

Honestly, I wasn't expecting that.

Krypton being destroyed by a solar flare basically getting swallowed by the sun, instead of the planet exploding from the core becoming unstable and going boom, was a surprise.

'Well that explains the lack of Kryptonite since the planet never exploded and was instead swallowed by the sun, there were no fragments of the planet's radioactive core, created since the planet never exploded.' I thought before crossing my arms again, pushing my breasts up accidentally while doing so.

"Why didn't you come with me?" I asked looking curiously at Jor-El.

Jor-El looked at me again with an eyebrow raised before sighing and answering my question.

"We couldn't, Alexan. No matter how much we wanted to, no matter how much we loved you. Your mother Lara and I were a product of the failures of our world as much as Zod was. We were tied to its fate. Your mother and I believed Krypton lost something precious, the element of choice, of chance. What if a child dreamed of becoming something other than what society had intended for him or her? What if a child aspired to something greater? You were the embodiment of that belief, Alexan, Krypton's first natural birth in centuries. That's why we risked so much to save you." Jor-El said, saying all of that as if he believed it with religious zealousness.

Ignoring the zealousness in his voice, and his dumb decision to not save himself and his wife since it would be a waste of effort to argue with him, and man is already dead and gone. I asked another question, A question I was very much interested in getting answered.

"So am I alone?" I asked what is probably one of the most important questions yet.

Jor-El at here looked unsure at first, before schooling his features and answering schooling.

"No. You are as much a child of earth now as you are of Krypton. You can embody the best of both worlds. A dream your mother and I dedicated our lives to preserve." Jor-El said, and before I could have pointed out that he didn't really answer my question, a chamber opened on my left with a suit being revealed.

The suit if worn would probably cover every single inch of skin beside your the face area, the suit was dark blue, with the house of El sigil in middle glowing in light blue light,. Both arms also had some parts that glowed with light blue light, both the forearms, and the shoulders had some lines going through them that also glowed. The cape with the same iconic red coloring, it was connected from each shoulder, there was a flap in the middle connected to the middle of the belt and going about 30 centimeters down. Finally, separate from the suit, there was a tiara type thing, only instead of the tiara being only semi-circular and only covering half the head, it kept going on each on each side of where the outer cheeks would have been and finally resting on and covering where the chin would've been.

Jor-El blinked out of existence before appearing next of the suit and proceeding to talk again from where he left off.

"The people of earth are different than us, it's true. But ultimately I believe that's a good thing. They won't necessarily make the same mistakes we did. Not if you guide them, Alexan. Not if you give them hope. That's what this symbol means." He said before pointing at the house of El sigil.

"The symbol of the house of El means hope. Embodied within that hope is the fundamental belief in the potential of every person to be a force for good. That's what you can bring them. Earth's sun is younger and brighter than Krypton's was." He says before continuing on.

"Your cells have drunk in its radiation, strengthening your muscles, your skin, your senses. Earth's gravity is weaker, yet its atmosphere is more nourishing. You've grown stronger here than I ever could imagine. The only way to know how strong is to keep testing your limits. You will give the people of earth an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun, Alexan. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders." He said while looking directly at my eyes. His eerily similar blue eyes crashing onto mine.

Having enough of his crypticism.

"You.Still.Haven't.Answered.My.Question.Am.I.Alone?" I said stopping over every word I said for a second so he can understand just how pissed I am right now.

Jor-El for once looked out of his element as if he never had experienced this situation before.

Judging by his reaction he didn't know the answer for once, and it was eating at his pride for him to admit it.

"I-I-I don't know, Kryptonians were a xenophobic race, so there were no Kryptonians anywhere else on the universe at the time of Kryptons destruction expect for Krypton, General Zod and his soldiers were caught and sent into the Phantom Zone before Kryptonians destruction, but they were placed into the Phantom Zone, which is impossible to escape from other than that there aren't any Kryptonians that made it out of the planet in time," Jor-El said finally admitting that he didn't know.

So Zod still might become a problem in the future I see...

"Did I have any other family members other than you and mom? Maybe a cousin? Or something, surely you would have warned our family members into what's to come in the future right?" I asked, thinking about Kara and whether or not she exists in this universe.

At that Jor-El looked like he aged a hundred years in a second.

"Unfortunately, my older brother died way before Krypton was even set for destruction, and he didn't marry nor did he have any children, he died a hero..." Jor-El said looking incredibly sad.

'So no supergirl then' I thought before asking one final question.

"The suit. Does it come in black?"
